21/03/2024: This review makes me smile but at the same time leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Day at Garda, we stop to eat something. The girl educated on the outside. He takes the orders, and we order two 'EXTRA LARGE cutlets' and I ask for some sautéed potatoes. Two pre-cooked mini cutlets arrive with clearly fried potatoes. €19 per dish. When the food arrives, the cutlery and napkins still had to be placed which were practically thrown at us by two boys, cutlery taken with the hands from where I should put the food on, left on the table and not placed on the napkin. The time comes for the bill and we wait 20 minutes because the ATM doesn't work (it can happen and it does, if it had only been this no one would have said anything). In terms of experience I don't recommend it, and in my opinion the prices are high for the quality. The only thing that survived was the spaghetti with clams. Let's say that if they worked on the service and taught the basic rules, and perhaps removed the words 'EXTRA LARGE' from the menu, it would be more correct. Ah, I would add that there were three tables outside, no crowded or messy moments.

10/03/2024: At first we had a very good impression from the pictures and reviews on Google. However, this impression did not last long. The pizzas had nothing to do with the pizzas in the pictures. Unfortunately, they weren't too tasty either. When we asked to pay, the waitress offered us a nightcap on the house, which we later found on the bill. Well, a matter of opinion.

19/12/2023: Excellent cuisine, refined high quality products, well presented dishes. Hot bread and breadsticks made by them and friendly and helpful staff, all in a dream location with a spectacular view of the lake. One of my favorite restaurants ever!!! Well done

24/02/2024: I was here with my girlfriend about two weeks ago. Very good aperitif, as are the drinks. Very kind and friendly staff, extremely affordable prices. I highly recommend it, if you happen to be near Garda or the surrounding area, I think it's an almost obligatory stop. We didn't have lunch, but the menu still offered a fairly wide choice. Aperitif however passed with flying colors, nor is it proof that we were there for two days in a row!!! Truly highly recommended 😁

21/01/2024: Pessimo servizio. Per un tagliere e un panino abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti. Vergognoso. Tagliere di roba fritta precotta e una pinsa con base precotta. Assurdo. Manco si sono scusati.

12/01/2024: There were more real pizzerias like this... if you don't like big places with 47 pages of menus, this pizzeria is for you, an old-fashioned pizzeria in a comfortable and hospitable environment. The delicious, low-fat pizza, made to perfection. Well done, congratulations also for managing to maintain affordable prices!

01/04/2024: The service was great until the waiter changed. When the new waitress came, it was over. We wanted dessert, but after waiting 30 minutes, we decided to eat dessert somewhere else. It's a shame because everything had been fine up to that point.

15/10/2023: I was there several times. Family business, everyone pitches in. Service is attentive but not intrusive. Food outstanding in all courses. Fish dishes outstanding (we know what we're talking about😉🐟). We will be back….

15/10/2023: We had booked a table for 20 and there were guests at all the tables. We got Paella, it was a bit dry, but tasted ok. What was boring was that at 21 they already started clearing the tables when the guests left. Flowers and lamps were removed and preparations were made to close, although they are open until 10.30 p.m There was another couple who therefore opted out of dessert. Boring as it otherwise seems like a nice place.

27/08/2023: Went there today to eat ice cream. I have never experienced anything so unfriendly in Garda. The boss was in such a bad mood, even though we were friendly. We actually wanted to come for ice cream with 10 people tomorrow, but under these circumstances we'd rather go to Bardolino. If you're in a mood like that selling ice cream, you might want to consider working in a warehouse. We also have to work for our money, and things are easier with a smile. Just think about it...

25/03/2024: Nice place, but max. for a drink. You can dock by boat. Nice service. Food is expensive and quite bland. Caprese with disposable wooden cutlery. There is no EU oil, wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar. Poadine dry. Aperol in a Caipi glass. Franciacorta is on the map but it doesn't exist. A bit wanted and not able. The prices are not justified. A pity.

03/04/2024: One of the places I remember very fondly. Laid back, family friendly and great for large groups. Really hope it opens back up as a restaurant. Look out for fireflies on the way up. Any news you can share on when you are re-opening the main restaurant?

18/09/2023: Great hotel We stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay Great breakfast at the front watching people start their day. Excellent location with the ferry drop off so near which encouraged us to make good use of the easy trips to Bardolino & Sirmione Lovely afternoon drinks after a busy day visiting, off the ferry & cool drink.

29/08/2023: Great food and wonderful service at the lakeside, very friendly staff. Later went into the hotel for coffee to avoid a thunderstorm. Again lovely friendly welcome. While we were there a family were standing across the road in the rain under a tree, not looking for proper shelter. Eventually they came over to the hotel very wet and were welcomed in and immediately given towels to dry themselves as best they could. They left after a little while without even buying a cup of tea. The staff just smiled and we could see that they didn't make any comments to one another about it. This was a very kind act and much more than they would have been expected to do. Well done. 10 stars

26/03/2024: Al Pescatore is not recommended. The mussels smelled like old socks, the octopus salad smelled like wet dog. None of it tasted good. The seafood pasta is average at best in terms of taste. Of course the prices are high, it is Garda after all, but they are not appropriate for the poor quality and taste. Better go eat somewhere else. We'll definitely never come here again.
