01/01/2026: My friend and I had a wonderful dinner at Jolly! They offer a wide variety of pizzas and some pasta options. Everything looked delicious, and it was honestly hard to choose what to order. In the end, we went with the seafood spaghetti and a classic tuna pizza — both were incredibly fresh and flavorful! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel right as foreign visitors. Considering the quality and the very reasonable prices, I highly recommend visiting Jolly if you’re near Lake Garda!

16/06/2026: We came here because of the many good reviews. Unfortunately, we were somewhat disappointed. You do get a lot of lovely touches (pizza bread, aperitif, limoncello), but the food itself (we had spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti ragù) was rather disappointing. It had nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine. The carbonara didn't contain pancetta, but rather a different fatty ham, and the sauce was more of a cream sauce; the ragù had hardly any meat. The waiters were very nice and attentive, but the quality of the food needs improvement.
13/06/2026: We arrived without a reservation on a weekday evening in early June.
We were able to sit at a table in the "garden" without any waiting.
I'm (typically German) a bit skeptical of excessive attention, but this proved to be completely unfounded.
With the menu, you immediately receive a glass of sparkling wine. While waiting, instead of breadsticks or rolls, you're offered a pizza bread – very tasty with olive oil. After the meal, with the coffee/dessert menu, you receive a shot glass of sweet treat (passion fruit ice cream). And to finish, a limoncello.
The salad, pasta, and lasagna were delicious.
We ordered a liter of beer (intended to share) and expected a pitcher, but it arrived in a liter mug 😁. It was then placed in the middle of the table.

Some reviews here show outdoor areas that do not belong to this restaurant.
It has several tables in the narrow alleyway where it's located, some inside, and two rows in the "garden" behind the building, which is shaded by an awning and partitioned.

The women's restroom is perfectly fine.

03/06/2026: The set menu idea is a great way to try different dishes, but unfortunately, none of them really impressed us. We chose the fish menu and perhaps we would have expected more lake dishes.
01/06/2026: A truly charming and well-designed restaurant, right in the city center. The outdoor terrace, where we had a table, was very beautiful, with wooden tables that lend a vintage feel. The six-course seafood menu (note: it includes dessert, coffee, and limoncello) was excellent, and we shared it with our two, along with a superb tomato pasta dish for our toddler, a house white wine (also very good), a bottle of water, and another glass of white wine (kindly offered by the owner). The aforementioned owner (a Southern Italian like my husband and I) is truly knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, sincere, and so much more. We spent €101 in total, but believe me, it was absolutely worth it. We will definitely be back.

08/06/2026: The food was incredibly generous and of excellent quality. The service was discreet and efficient. A very popular spot, and it's easy to see why!
08/06/2026: I had lunch at this restaurant and had a very positive experience. The menu is extensive and varied, but the house specialty is undoubtedly the fish, excellent both in the raw and fresh versions and in the cooked versions.
The service was fast and very friendly, and the final bill confirmed excellent value for the quality offered.
The only real drawback is the high attendance: to eat on the beautiful lakefront veranda, you often have to wait a long time. To avoid the line, I strongly recommend arriving early: no later than 12:00 for lunch and no later than 7:00 for dinner. Overall, a highly recommended place.

03/05/2026: Had the most magnificent afternoon while eating lunch at Miralago, the view was spectacular, the staff were very friendly and gave us amazing hospitality. The portions were huge ane the food was out of this world, would recommend everyone living there, in vacation or even just passing by to have lunch or dinner there one of the best experiences I have ever had 👏👏👏

04/05/2026: Restaurant with a breathtaking view, a little complicated to get there because it is right in the center of the town, among other things very beautiful, friendly staff, good food, I gave 4 stars because in the bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil and smoked trout fillet, there was practically no oil, the rest was exquisite.... Reasonable prices... I recommend it

17/06/2026: Beware of rip-offs! All in all, incredibly disappointing. Some tables get bread right away, others simply don't. Despite arriving quite early (with a toddler), we were served reluctantly. The appetizer arrived, but the main course was simply forgotten in the kitchen. After more than an hour, we asked about it and finally received it. The rosemary potatoes, unfortunately, came without rosemary. Our drinks were also empty for almost an hour, and we weren't asked if we wanted anything more. When we tried to pay immediately after the main course, we were laughed at (?!?) and then came the kicker. The "boss" showed us the total of the bill on his phone: €106. We paid and left. We then recalculated, returned, and demanded to see the bill from the actual boss. After a long search, we found only one for €101, which was shown to us, and we were simply handed €5. Apparently, this is the usual tactic here to "earn" a bit more in tips. Absolutely outrageous to simply enter a different amount into a phone and pass it off as the correct price!
PS: Only a few tables are ever offered a grappa/limoncello/espresso at the end. It probably just depends on who likes you. 😂
10/06/2026: Disappointment. The four of us, including a baby, went there for lunch because of the rain. The food was consistently disappointing. The sardines were half-cooked, half-grilled – overall, bad. The pizzas were bad, with canned mushrooms. The service was very poor – inattentive and unenthusiastic. An employee went to the restroom before me and left without washing his hands. We also didn't receive a bill; we only saw it on a phone screen.

After searching for several restaurants and finding them all full, we were actually on our way to a restaurant where we had eaten the previous day when we saw the Hotel Ristorante Giardinetto and decided to give it a try.
We received a warm welcome and excellent service throughout our stay. My spaghetti was delicious, and the panna cotta was also very tasty.
However, my husband's fritto misto wasn't particularly impressive, and the ice cream had a rather artificial taste.
The espresso, on the other hand, was excellent!
Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn't clean: there was paper on the floor and no paper towels, which somewhat detracted from the experience.

Pleasant restaurant and excellent meal.
12/10/2025: Right on the lake, on the promenade. Direct access to the old town. Good restaurant. The staff (both hotel and restaurant) are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is varied and very good. The rooms are clean and well renovated. The bathroom is great with a good shower. Free parking is available. I would gladly come back.
