07/10/2025: Mine was a quick lunch. Pasta with tomato sauce. The location speaks for itself, the food was good quality. I think it's excessive to charge €7.00 for a mediocre beer. The other thing that left me perplexed was the cover charge, which I paid €3.50 while other reviews had shown it was €3.00.
25/09/2025: Excellent delicate seafood in what feels like a film set of an historic square (do look inside the church). The sardine starter was especially standout, plus the “fish pie” which was a beautifully composed lasagne. We enjoyed the sparkling wine too. Thank you for your warm welcome at the end of season.

13/10/2025: We were looking for a place to eat, but the restaurants were all closed that evening. We happened upon the Al Batelo Bar Pizzeria, and after a moment's consideration, we decided to stop in. We were surprised by a truly excellent pizza. It was already late, so we sat at the only table in the restaurant and felt very comfortable. The Prosecco was also very good, and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

11/11/2025: A refined atmosphere, with limited seating. Wide tables allow you to enjoy lunch and dinner in a quiet, quiet environment. The elegant decor makes it feel like you're in your own dining room.
Excellent food. Excellent quality. Seasonal menu. Adequate portions. Both meat and fish (example: cod in the photo).
Average price: €55 for a first course, second course, a few desserts, water, wine (1.5 liters for five people), and coffee.
Reserved parking.
06/10/2025: Mirano's historic restaurant. A welcoming, inviting, and unobtrusive atmosphere. Trained and attentive staff. The chef is a talented and passionate chef. We ordered a bit of everything: appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts. All were excellent. Highly recommended.

The pizza isn't my thing (light, thick crust), but the toppings are super delicious!
The atmosphere is typical of a sidewalk café; tidy but nothing special.

08/11/2025: Centrally located, traditional, and welcoming, this restaurant offers a good selection of typical Venetian dishes and several options to choose from. Everything was delicious, but the real difference was made by our waiter, Mr. Diego. He was kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly. Thanks to him, we felt right at home, and the restaurant has become our best choice in Venice for an authentic and enjoyable dinner.
03/11/2025: The pasta was really bad and the pizza was completely uninteresting. Be sure to check the bill when paying, as the waiter had discreetly overcharged for the cover charge.

18/08/2025: After my last experience, I'm sadly forced to post this review. I'm a regular here for their super kebabs, which are great value. However, last time I was about to leave... with a souvenir. I understand it was the evening of August 15th, but spending an hour for two kebab piadinas is simply not acceptable. Recommended for the food only.

02/11/2025: We've been going to this place for years. The food is always excellent, including the grilled specialties, but everything from the pizza to the meat and fish is excellent. The service is good, and the waiters are incredibly friendly! When we want to eat well and feel at home, we come here!

03/12/2025: The pizzas are pretty average. Not bad, but not great either. The last time I ordered a pizza, I noticed an ingredient was missing when I got home. I called and explained the problem. The lady told me not to worry, they'd remake the pizza and even deliver it to me free of charge. The delivery guy arrives, and guess what he brought me? The missing ingredient!!! They didn't even remake the pizza... and in the meantime, the one I had at home had become cold and inedible.
Unprofessional, I'd say. I called back, and the same person who had answered before denied telling me they'd remake it... well, luckily my wife was there and heard everything. I said goodbye forever... if that's how you behave.
