19/07/2025: A spectacular place, I ate very good with a good price for the area where it is located and very good workers, next time I am always happy I will come to eat something really good

08/07/2025: Very bad service. The waiter was not friendly, very unpolite, didn't listen to us and she got our order wrong. We got our dishes seperately and waited for 3 dishes more than 20 min for three other people. We had to catch the train so we said that we can't wait anymore and if they could give us the bill. The chef started yelling at us that we have to pay for everything even though the waiter made mistake.

03/08/2025: It took 10 minutes to be seated, 15 minutes for the waiter, and 1 hour for the food to arrive. The food looked unappetizing and tasted bad, yet it was expensive.

25/07/2025: Absolutely fantastic dining experience! The food was beyond amazing—every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The waitstaff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcomed from start to finish. Even better…. when they are Harley Davidson family. This place perfectly captures the charm and hospitality of Venice. We will definitely be returning!

22/07/2025: Mi marido y yo decidimos planificar un viaje a Italia a última hora basado en un viaje de trabajo. Como el destino quiso, íbamos a estar en Venecia para la Fiesta del Redentor, un gran festival anual veneciano que incluye un espectáculo de fuegos artificiales sobre la Piazza San Marco. Busqué un lugar que tuviera una bonita vista de la azotea de los fuegos artificiales, y La Caravella era muy recomendable. Muy poco después de hacer una reserva, el Dr. Marianna Serandrei (que es un miembro de la familia propietaria y administradora del restaurante desde 1963 , y del hotel Saturnia desde 1908) se comunicó para asegurarme de que tenía clara la cena y para asegurarme de que quería reservar un lugar para la azotea. Ella fue increíblemente paciente tratando con mi banco de los Estados Unidos y me ayudó a organizar todo. La noche del evento, cenamos a las 7 PM. La comida era INCREÍBLE, y el servicio era de primera. Mi esposo tenía un filete que era tan tierno, que dijo que podía cortarlo con un tenedor, y yo tenía el pescado del día que era delicado, sabroso y acompañado de ingredientes locales frescos. Porque los fuegos artificiales no comenzaron hasta las 11 aprox. 30 , tuvimos bastante tiempo entre que terminamos nuestra cena y cuando se abrió la azotea. El personal era servicial en darnos todas las pruebas necesarias que, de hecho, habíamos reservado un lugar para la azotea. Cuando llegamos a la azotea a las 10: 30 , pudimos conseguir un asiento con una bonita pareja de Chicago que amablemente accedió a compartir su mesa. Las bebidas estaban incluidas en la reserva de la azotea, el personal era amable y servicial y el espectáculo de fuegos artificiales desde la terraza de La Caravella no tenía igual. No puedo recomendar suficientemente esta institución familiar. La Caravella es una visita obligada.

09/08/2025: Small restaurant with a terrace on a quiet, almost empty street. Away from the crowds, a very pleasant culinary surprise. Perfect dishes. Welcoming, smiling server, who spoke English and made an effort to speak French. The food was delicious, the price was totally justified, we highly recommend it. Remember to make a reservation.

03/08/2025: This was the standout dining experience from my time in Venice - delicious food (especially the seafood options), beautifully yet simply presented, a warm atmosphere largely catering to locals, and hospitable staff who clearly take pride in their craft and restaurant. The pickled vegetables, seafood (prawn, crab) starters, and the wide selections of grappa and Sardinian liquors really impressed. Look forward to returning in a future trip.

24/07/2025: Ferdinando, a true Campanian, gives excellent recommendations for dishes. The babà is homemade and delicious, even for me, a southerner. The Neapolitan fish soup is delicious. Prices are reasonable.

05/08/2025: Delicious gelato, desserts, and staff! The Buranello-flavored gelato is absolutely incredible, as it tastes so much like a cookie despite being gelato.

20/07/2025: I had a beef tartare with blue cheese and walnut sauce, it was a pure delight! Really excellent!!! I highly recommend it, both the restaurant and the tartare!!! Good service, chill and pleasant atmosphere, and just like the meal, dessert (tiramisu and chocolate fondant) EXCELLENT! In short, great restaurant!

One bite — one single bite — and the world stopped. The texture? Like velvet had a love affair with chilled cream. The flavor? As if the ingredients were handpicked by Italian gods on a good day. It didn’t just melt in our mouths; it whispered childhood memories, kissed us with summer, and reminded us that life is meant to be felt with all five senses — and maybe a sixth one, dedicated solely to gelato. We looked at each other mid-bite, wide-eyed, speechless. A shared moment of pure, unfiltered joy. It was the kind of ice cream that makes you resent every other dessert you’ve ever had for not being this. If you ever find yourself in Venice, go. Run. Crawl. Teleport if you must. This isn’t just a place to eat gelato. It’s where your soul gets a little happier.

04/07/2025: A great experience at Ristorante Napoli! We were warmly welcomed by Chef Gerardo himself – a very friendly host. The truffle pasta was excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly. The interior is spectacular and designed with great attention to detail. 08/07/2025: Food was basic, the spaghetti was ok, the Milanese chicken looked frozen and the fries also looked ready made, bread was not fresh. Service and prices were good. I wouldn't go again.
