07/05/2026: I rarely review places like McDonald's, but this place is truly filthy. Pigeons inside and outside are attacking tables. The restrooms inside are filthy. The food didn't taste like a regular McDonald's at all. I don't recommend it; it's better to spend your money on pasta.

04/05/2026: A place I'll never return to. The bathrooms, besides being extremely dirty, didn't have doors that locked, and the men's and women's ones weren't separated. Something as banal as a cappuccino and a macchiato were served to me cold and with unsteamed milk. They don't provide ceramic cups, which certainly add to the taste, and when I pointed this out to manager Susanna, saying that these were very bad months compared to other McDonald's in Friuli Venezia Giulia, she responded with utter arrogance, "Lucky them for having them." I asked for a glass of water, which, incidentally, comes from the drinks tower, and they refused, telling me I had to buy a bottle. It's truly a shame that McDonald's Italia has such shoddy establishments in such a major tourist destination as Venice.

13/06/2026: The food was good and the terrace overlooking the beach is really beautiful.

08/06/2026: A truly pleasant experience! The staff was always polite, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. The food arrived on time and was truly delicious, carefully prepared and beautifully presented. The drinks were also excellent, well-balanced and carefully crafted. To top it all off, the atmosphere was very pleasant, made even more special by the lovely music that accompanied the evening. A place where you feel at home and where I will gladly return.

01/07/2026: Went for a quick limoncello here while strolling around at Venice. The place is nice cosy with outdoor seating. Since it was pretty hot summer day, chose to sit inside near the bar. The bar is nice, service is quick and friendly people here. Definitely it has good vibes. Outdoor setup is nice here and lighting is perfect. Must try place.

11/05/2026: Gone are the days when the Gritti served impeccable Martinis. Under intense pressure from the influx of tourists (identifiable by their sweaty polo shirts, sneakers, and sometimes louder voices), the (evidently unbalanced) staff is incredibly pressured between room and table orders. The result: a Martini at the bar with no water on the side (!), with a poor, frantic bartender in front of him who can't—or no longer wants to—have a chat, and—a venial sin for a grand hotel cocktail bar—made with Gordon's gin (!). Bacaro crisps and hazelnuts were served, but no one offered any side dishes. I'm not arguing with the price—personally, I don't even pay that much attention to the bars of grand hotels (of which I'm a huge fan)—but the service and mixology (at least the classics) aren't quite up to par, I'm sorry.

17/12/2025: Antonella at Ca Pesaro is the best! We come to this cafè many times every year and we bring friends-and we all LOVE the cafeteria at ca Pesaro. Antonella is an excellent ambassador for your museum. She is always welcoming, attentive, professional, warm, and wonderful. I bring all of my friends here. I know we will have a true Venetian experience: great food, great service, great view, and a warm welcome.

21/10/2025: It is worth sitting on the terrace overlooking the canal, which is the main artery of Venice.

27/06/2026: A good place for a quick stop on your journey. Friendly service, delicious coffee, and a tasty cornetto with various toppings. I recommend it.

24/06/2026: Typical motorway service station, excellent for an early morning breakfast.

05/01/2026: Average pizzeria, slightly above-average prices. The four-cheese platter is excellent.
