04/05/2025: While passing through on our way home we stopped at this historic pizzeria. First time after the change of management. Smaller menu but some historic pizzas remained and were very good. So good that we bought another one, something that never happens to us. Young and helpful staff. For sure if we pass through Gruaro we will stop again.
01/05/2025: I had booked 10 takeaway pizzas, we arrived at the agreed time, the place was almost empty and we still waited an hour. The pizzas were hard and small. I've eaten many pizzas in my life but like this one I hope it remains a bad memory of waiting an hour, among other things. I won't be going back

03/06/2026: The lady in the restaurant is the most unfriendly person I’ve met in a while. She should treat people more nicely. It doesn’t cost her anything.
28/05/2026: Nicely furnished room with no view, nowhere to sit outside without feeling you have to buy (8euros an orange juice for example) to sit there.

01/07/2026: Went for a quick limoncello here while strolling around at Venice. The place is nice cosy with outdoor seating. Since it was pretty hot summer day, chose to sit inside near the bar. The bar is nice, service is quick and friendly people here. Definitely it has good vibes. Outdoor setup is nice here and lighting is perfect. Must try place.

10/06/2026: Besides being expensive—because it's very expensive, and even though it's on the Grand Canal they're outrageously priced—the waiters are incredibly unpleasant and unfriendly. Don't go.
04/06/2026: I had a great experience at this restaurant during my visit to Venice. I ordered the spaghetti with meat and ice cream, and both were delicious. The food was even better than I expected, and everything was fresh and enjoyable.
I would especially like to thank our waiter, Jemal. He was very welcoming, kind, and helpful throughout my visit. His friendly service made the experience even better.
The location is also beautiful, with a lovely view of the water that made the meal even more enjoyable. Between the delicious food, welcoming service, and wonderful atmosphere, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Venice.

27/06/2026: Congratulations guys! We've been getting pizza from you ever since you came back, but tonight you outdid yourself! You fixed a small oversight in just 10 minutes! Thank you so much, and congratulations again! The pizza is delicious, and the fries are phenomenal!

09/12/2025: A nice spot for a light breakfast and coffee.
I had egg and ham and toast, really tasty. Slightly expensive as I was charged the wrong amount based on the menu (only by 3 euros) but didn't notice til a little later.
I went back for more coffee as it's such a great spot.
Sadly they were closed today otherwise I would have gone back again
06/12/2025: Rude staff, they refuse to give us coffee and said when we sit to order something else he said we should go. Don’t go there, 50m away there’s a nice bar with nice atmosphere and staff

17/12/2025: Antonella at Ca Pesaro is the best! We come to this cafè many times every year and we bring friends-and we all LOVE the cafeteria at ca Pesaro. Antonella is an excellent ambassador for your museum. She is always welcoming, attentive, professional, warm, and wonderful. I bring all of my friends here. I know we will have a true Venetian experience: great food, great service, great view, and a warm welcome.
21/10/2025: It is worth sitting on the terrace overlooking the canal, which is the main artery of Venice.

28/02/2026: I had a reservation for lunch on Saturday with two friends... I found it strange that no one was there... just the three of us... we ordered three first courses, two spaghetti allo scoglio and one without tomato sauce and shells... (I would never use spaghetti No. 3 for these dishes, I'd use linguine instead).
My friends' two seafood pasta dishes were incredibly salty, and the lady apologized for mine because the chef forgot he was supposed to make it without tomato sauce... A CHEF LIKE THAT? HE SHOULD BE SENT HOME IMMEDIATELY... I DON'T THINK I'LL GO BACK...
