20/12/2025: I would avoid this place if I were you. Scammy pricing tactics lure you in promising €10 pasta, however, if you get any drinks that's where they get you. Pasta is below average and definitely not freshly cooked. Outrageous €7.5 price for a small beer from the tap (which is conveniently not listed on the menu) and on top of that €2 per person non-optional service charge for no service (mind you have to both order and pay at the counter). Best to dine elsewhere even if more expensive but honest and upfront.
P.S. just noticed a review about the toilet cleanliness and out-of-service tap from 7 months ago. This is still the case today.
07/12/2025: We took advantage of Happy Hour and ordered a Spritz. The service was very good, and it's fine as a snack stop, nothing fancy.

18/05/2026: Unfortunately, this is no longer the place I used to love visiting during my trips to Venice. The decor, the staff, and the menu have changed. My favorite sea bass ceviche is no longer on the menu. It's come and gone. You can delete the tag.

28/02/2026: I had a reservation for lunch on Saturday with two friends... I found it strange that no one was there... just the three of us... we ordered three first courses, two spaghetti allo scoglio and one without tomato sauce and shells... (I would never use spaghetti No. 3 for these dishes, I'd use linguine instead).
My friends' two seafood pasta dishes were incredibly salty, and the lady apologized for mine because the chef forgot he was supposed to make it without tomato sauce... A CHEF LIKE THAT? HE SHOULD BE SENT HOME IMMEDIATELY... I DON'T THINK I'LL GO BACK...

18/04/2026: A restaurant with a fixed-price lunch menu, a practical and affordable option.
The food is good and the portions are above average, which is certainly appreciated. At first, the staff seemed a little annoyed, probably because we hadn't booked and the restaurant was almost full; however, as time went by, their attitude changed and they proved to be courteous and helpful.
The restaurant is located on the seafront, although unfortunately it doesn't offer a true sea view.
Overall, a positive experience, with a few minor initial hiccups in the service.
12/04/2026: One star because I can't give it any less. I ordered a dish and was brought another after about an hour of waiting. I told the waiter it wasn't what I ordered, and he insisted it was the same one. Then they changed it and brought it back with a small change after a minute, thus making fun of me twice. I tried that dish and it was inedible. I can't understand how a place like this is still open. I strongly advise against it; instead, stay fasting.

20/07/2025: Visitó este hermoso lugar todos los días mientras visitaba Venecia. Los días que estaba cerrado, solo suspiré. Estoy feliz con los deliciosos pasteles más allá de la imaginación, y también un poco triste de no vivir más cerca. Cueste lo que cueste, esto es imprescindible para el comienzo de cualquier visita a Venecia. Si esperas hasta el último momento, lo siento, pero llorarás. El hermoso personal y el propietario (tradición familiar x 4 generaciones) han creado pastelería más allá de los sueños en Dosoduro. A pocos pasos de la parada de vaporetto de San Tomo
03/07/2025: I prezzi qui sono ragionevoli. Mi sono piaciuti i bignè alla crema, che erano deliziosi, e i pasticcini per la colazione erano deliziosi. Il caffè era rinfrescante. Il servizio era buono.

10/05/2026: It's expensive, of course (cheaper than the others and the music is free from the neighboring restaurant), but the food tastes good, the waiters are nice and even the toilets were clean.

11/04/2026: I arrived at 12:00, now it's 2:10, and I still have to see the second course... Small portions and poorly organized staff. Without the owner, they couldn't get their kitchen up and running.
03/03/2026: I stopped for lunch several days and in my opinion the food is quite good considering they have a set menu for workers.

27/09/2025: The service was like at the end of a vacation - the employees seemed tired and fed up with tourists 🫣. What we were served was good - just more expensive than other locations in the area.
06/09/2025: This bar has always been a go-to place for a quick break. However, I find that recently charging $2.50 for a cappuccino is excessive and inappropriate (we're not even that far away).

12/04/2026: Terrible experience with the classic takeout club sandwich, with almost no bacon.
Although my request to remove the tomato was granted, the rest of the filling is ridiculous. The bacon, particularly in two of the four sections of the club sandwich you see in the photo, is present only in tiny traces, artfully placed on the front to please (or deceive) the eye, while the inside is empty. One section had literally only the tip of a slice.
Disgraceful.

29/09/2025: If you ever going to be near this place, you definitely have to stop by this super English friendly coffee shop, for amazing atmosphere, more than welcoming and warm behaviour from the staff. And coffee, speaks for herself!
