14/10/2025: We ordered a small fries and shared them as a snack. Very friendly and quick service.

05/07/2025: This place is either 100% a scam or 100% ridiculous. We tried finding them at 11pm on a Friday night and they were nowhere to be found We walked around for an HOUR and asked locals who had no idea what the place was. The address doesn’t exist as a legitimate business. Their hours are different everywhere ranging from open until 12am-3am.

21/11/2025: Upon entering the facility, the owner's first gesture was to wag his index finger and say, "No dogs, no dogs," referring to my little miniature pinscher, so we turned around and left. And I don't think we'll be back, even without our dog. Terrible!

We had lunch a couple of times and it was all very good, fresh, and the portions were generous. We finished with an aperitif, which we really enjoyed. Always perfect! 06/12/2025: I've been frequenting Strani in Venice for years, and it continues to be one of my go-to spots on Via Garibaldi. The main reason? The beer selection. There are always interesting, quality beers on tap, like Delirium Paranoia and many other constantly changing labels. The selection of bottled craft beers is also extensive and carefully curated: every visit is the perfect opportunity to discover something new. The porchetta sandwich deserves an honorable mention. It's a must-try before and after Venezia matches, a true ritual for many fans who gather here to share the pre-match atmosphere or discuss the post-match. The selection of cicchetti and tramezzini is vast, always fresh and delicious, as are the platters and sandwiches prepared with authentic ingredients. At Strani, there's always something delicious to accompany a beer or an aperitivo with friends. And then there's Giacomo, the owner: a real sweetheart, always smiling, kind, and helpful. It truly makes you feel at home, a true host of the sort you see less and less these days. Strani a Venezia is a slice of authentic Venetianness, the kind that's hard to find in the city these days. A sincere, convivial place deeply rooted in its neighborhood.

23/09/2025: A spritz and a small shot, not very good in my opinion, cost €8 at the bar. No fries and no courtesy.

10/10/2025: Tourist trap restaurant. If your tour guide recommends a 3 course meal with fish, pasta, and dessert for 30 euros that means cheap tilapia, spaghetti with canned tuna and tiramisu with not even proper mascarpone. These restaurants solely exist to scalp tourists.

11/11/2025: The person at the counter was a Bangladeshi man. We spoke to him and requested that we wanted to order spaghetti but if he can put some veggies in it and make it spicy. He agreed that he will put veggies in it like mushrooms, peppers onions etc and he charged extra money for it. As soon as we paid he went inside and brought our food in less than 2 mins as if it was already ready. For €12 he gave us boiled spaghetti with sprinkled Parmesan. So we are not sure why he didn’t out veggies or make it spicy as we agreed and paid extra for ? Also the quantity of food was literally so less in €12… I would have got much much better at soke other restaurant. This is a super scam and trap and definitely disappointed us on trip to Venice! I wouldn’t give this place even a single star but I have to in order to put this review.

02/11/2025: Although the restaurant's decor isn't great, it's highly recommended for both the food and the service. The spaghetti carbonara was delicious, the lasagna was tasty, and the pizzas were good. Highly recommended, especially considering the quality-price ratio, given that Burano isn't cheap.

24/10/2025: One of the best places in Butano and Venice. Very good food, good prices compared to the area, and friendly and attentive service. It's a shame it's not in Venice itself, but maybe it wouldn't be the same.

21/11/2025: Mediocre, I think, is the summary: mediocre food, moderately high price, the fried food is accompanied by battered vegetables to add volume and sell 4 rings of squid and two pieces of fried cod and a plate of carrots and courgettes for €20. They are probably an excellent pizzeria, but as a restaurant I don't think I will set foot there again, high expectations that were not met at all.

21/08/2025: Excellent selection of cured meats, delicious prosciutto. The perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine with a prosciutto platter.

23/11/2025: A lovely terrace for breakfast, and right next door there's a gondola stop where you can hop on while you're having breakfast. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and although it took a little while to arrive, it was very good.
