27/09/2025: Hello this place is absolutely phenomenal. We legit ate here 3 times already and debating if it’s crazy we eat here 4 times. The lasagna melted my face off and the pizza almost made me faint. The food is unreal and it’s so cozy- whether you sit inside or out.

30/07/2025: I went there for lunch, my first meal since arriving in Venice. The main dish was their famous "Squid Ink Pasta." It was pitch black and looked a little unsightly, but it was surprisingly delicious. I think I'll become addicted to it.

08/11/2025: We went here a year ago, the pizza was delicious, the atmosphere was nice. We came back today to repeat the fantastic experience, but unfortunately it was closed - according to Google it is open. The opening hours are wrong, it would be nice to correct them.

03/10/2025: It's closed when the website says it's open...but closed for demolition not closed for rest days...at least report it

12/10/2025: We had a wonderful time sitting in the sun in late summer and enjoying an Aperol Spritz. Very clean restroom with a changing table.

06/10/2025: Very friendly and helpful staff, who took my order in English at the counter. The tramezzino was inexpensive and tasty for a light snack. Aperol Spritz wasn't too expensive, and it was nice to sit outside. We later saw that they were serving outside, but when it's obviously busy, I can get my own drinks and it's fine; there's no charge for the caper.

04/07/2025: Uno de nuestros restaurantes favoritos en Venecia. Siempre venimos aquí al menos una vez cuando visitamos Venecia. El personal es genial, la comida siempre es excelente y la ubicación es fabulosa. Comenzamos con su aperitivo de pescado mixto para dos, que estaba excelente y venía con una cesta de pan. Mucho pescado mezclado y buenos sabores. Como plato principal tuvimos su pasta con marisco del día, que estaba excelente y llena de sabor. De postre pedimos tiramisú y postre de pistacho (ver fotos), ambos excelentes. También probamos su Prosecco rosado que fue uno de los mejores que hemos bebido. Esperamos visitarlo en el futuro.

16/08/2025: A pizzeria I've been going to for years and they've never disappointed me. Good pizza, no waiting, friendly staff, and a wide variety of flavors. Yes, you have to book, but there's a reason you have to pay attention and remember to do so. When you want to make a good impression on friends, relatives, or even to indulge in that personal treat, this is the place to be.

09/11/2025: Not good experience. The restaurant is filled with oily smoky smell from back kitchen. I ordered seafood spaghetti,one of mussels must be rotten and the whole plate is smelly and stinky. I ask for a return but they told me the smell is from garlic because they put lots of garlics there. Garlic is aromatic and smells good, but honestly no matter how much garlics you put there won’t cover the smell from the rotten seafood. No joke,they treated me like I have never had any seafood in my life. The Tiramisu is just so so.

01/12/2025: I read so many positive reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was embarrassing. I'd start from the beginning, when my friend and I ordered a ginger beer and a Sprite, and we received what we thought were two ginger beer glasses, due to a misunderstanding on the part of the waitress, but they were actually two Spritzes (the same color as the ginger beer). It's a shame that I was the one who realized this mistake after the first sip, because I'm breastfeeding and therefore can't drink, but there are people who are allergic to wine, and for them this oversight could have been more costly. But let's move on. I have a baby who needs a high chair, and when we booked, we specifically asked if there was one, and we were told it was available. Once we sat down and asked for one, we were told it had already been given to another table. Moral of the story: I held the baby (10 months old) in my arms for the entire meal, trying somehow to eat myself and get him to eat. In hindsight, I should have gotten up and left. But it didn't end there. There was no menu, and the waitress (constantly distracted by the comings and goings of people while she was listing the menu) listed the three first courses we could choose from and then recommended (and we'll understand why later) a mix of appetizers, which, as the name suggests, should precede the other courses of the meal. We, naive and mistaken, trusted her, realizing our mistake during lunch: several courses were far too generous in size, leaving us with no room for anything else (in fact, a friend of ours had ordered a plate of spaghetti with clams, which we had to split so as not to leave any left). In conclusion, 5 diners, 4 "antipasto menus" (a more appropriate name than "round of appetizers" as the waitress said), 2 first courses, 5 bottles of tap water (which are fine if you don't charge me €2.50 each), 5 coffees, 2 starters, for a total of €235.50. Not even the courtesy of deducting the 50 cents for the mix-up with the drinks and the high chair. The food was decent but nothing exceptional, the bread basket was well-stocked, the atmosphere was cramped but not excessively noisy, and the service was inattentive and chaotic. As I said at the beginning, embarrassing, sorry.

30/11/2025: Pretty dishonest, prices way too high for the quality of the food. I booked for five people and specifically asked for a high chair for a small child, and they told me it was no problem. When I asked for one at the table, the lady told me that unfortunately she had already given it to another table (so the mother held the baby in her arms for the entire meal). I asked for a ginger ale and a drink, and two Aperol Spritzes arrived. I thought the lady had misunderstood and brought two ginger ale (since they are the same color as spritzes), but I didn't point out the mistake until my friend, who is still breastfeeding, tasted the Spritz and realized it was alcoholic. There's no written menu, so the lady immediately started asking, "Shall I bring you some mixed appetizers?" Damn us for not asking the prices and trusting them. The portions were overly large, the quality was decent but nothing special, and the dishes weren't particularly sophisticated (the shrimp tart with pink sauce, for example, was among the house cicchetti). Tap water cost €2.50 a bottle. I have no idea which of the appetizers cost €60 because it seems absurd to me. We didn't even order wine; the appetizer for four people and two pasta dishes with clams cost €235.50, from which the owner didn't even take 50 cents off to apologize for the high chair. That's just not the way to go.

11/11/2025: We ordered pizzas, and since it's a popular island, the prices were high. Okay, so how do you make the pizza? Frozen? Not enough? So thirsty until late at night. Even though CAORLE DESERVES MORE, it's less expensive and... QUALITY.
