27/10/2025: Lovely pizza! We didn’t have a reservation so ate outside. Nice peaceful campo compared to the crazy area around it. Good food and nice staff! Recommended.

21/10/2025: Dinner, a reunion with former colleagues in a nice little setting. I only knew Il Canaletto by name, but now I know it in practice. Nothing to complain about or add about the quality of the fish served. Impeccable service (even too much so). The bottle(s) of wine were superb (which was just right). I'll definitely be back (as a couple this time).

A very elegant establishment with excellent, friendly, and professional service. Dishes are carefully prepared with the freshest fish and top-quality ingredients.
28/09/2025: Although the food was excellent, the treatment by the head waiter was terrible. He was sullen, rude, and lacking in practical experience. I'd suggest a change of duties. As for the rest, someone else has taken over for him. If he's here, we won't be returning. He's a scary guy, and anyone who dines has the right to feel comfortable and not be intimidated.

20/11/2025: If you appreciate home-style cooking, Da Antonia's family atmosphere is for you. The setting is dated, but the food makes up for it, and the service is prompt. The only flaw is that the menu is announced verbally; there's no printed copy, and individual prices aren't available. But don't be alarmed, the prices are fair. For example, three first courses, three second courses, three side dishes, one dessert (the tiramisu is the Sunday one at my aunt's, who spoils us), two bottles of water, and half a liter of wine for four people: €115.
I recommend booking.

07/12/2025: We came in Hungry after an early start from Rome and ordered: 1. The Capriciosa pizza which was large and the ingredients tasty and generous. Was yumm. Also ordered the Pork Knuckle which was cooked to perfection and came off the bone. A must have for carnivores. The servings were large enough for 3 people. The service was outstanding. Highly reccomend if you are visiting Venice.

We were at the Roadhouse in Mestre and Giuliana served us exceptionally well—kind, attentive, and always with a smile! 🥰
She also surprised our son for his birthday, making it truly special. 🎉

03/11/2025: It's my favorite roadhouse! Even though I'd be more comfortable in Padua, in Mestre they pay attention to service. For the BBQ ribs, they bring you a kit so you don't get dirty (not in Padua).

04/12/2025: My family and I have been customers at this beautiful and super cozy little place for a couple of years now. The pizza is truly delicious, light, and contrary to what some people say, the ingredients used are truly top-quality; only ignorant people would say otherwise.
The quality is fair, especially since you can't eat anywhere else for €10-15 these days.
Highly recommended!!!
