26/10/2024: Siamo arrivati a questo pranzo con delle aspettative molto alte e per alcuni aspetti siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti, su altri forse si deve migliorare. L’atmosfera e la location sono fantastici; il personale in sala è giovane, molto gentile e disponibile ma forse non al top, abbiamo finito il ns pranzo con il pane in tavola al dessert e con il tavolo ingombro di ben 4 bicchieri a testa dei vini che hanno accompagnato le nostre pietanze. Io sono forse troppo rigoroso, ma fare un servizio con il piercing mi sembra in questo contesto eccessivo, pantaloni e camicia macchiati può capitare ma sarebbero da evitare… i piatti che abbiamo assaggiato era sicuramente buoni ed interessanti ma non indimenticabili ed alcuni dei vini che ci hanno servito non hanno incontrato il ns gusto, forse ampliare la proposta ad etichette di altri produttori potrebbe essere la soluzione. Venezia è comunque magica e vale sempre il viaggio !

10/10/2024: I tavoli sono in una veranda che dà sui vigneti della tenuta, da cui si produce un vino esclusivo, da uve autoctone della laguna, che ha un costo elevato anche per la bassa produzione. Personale molto professionale. Cibo di qualità, per quello che abbiamo provato, ma dai prezzi più alti della media. Infatti, in altri posti abbiano speso meno pur trovando la stessa qualità della materia prima (pesce fresco) e della cucina. Qui si paga la location, che del resto merita.

21/09/2024: Very good coffee, tramezzini and brioche for breakfast, small menu during the day with warm dishes such as zucchini lasagne with smoked cheese, various pastas. Everything perfect.

03/08/2024: Mirandolina! The living room evening version. Informal but tasteful environment, spaced tables and nice background music. Traditional dishes but not "reinterpreted", simply well chosen, prepared in the best possible way and with excellent raw materials. The friendly innkeeper passionately searches for what he can offer and, for example, we tasted it I Shanky's, an excellent Irish whiskey or the quack's bitters etc. Very fair price, less than €40 each for a very complete dinner. Nice not to feel like a tourist in such a touristy place!

25/08/2024: Hearing the owner swear... you can't. Not to mention the rude response to some (non-Italian) customers who asked if it was possible to change the channel. Finally, there are two of us waiting to be served, on our turn we ask for ice creams as an answer -"there's a fridge, take them". If he said it before we would have avoided hearing him curse🥴.For discreet eating.

22/08/2024: In hindsight I would have taken photos of the dishes but hunger and the goodness of the sandwiches did not allow me to document the dishes!!! Excuse me Slightly out of the way place, we arrived there by mistake, everything was excellent from the staff, super polite and professional with a touch of friendliness, to the sandwiches and clubs served! Try the one with Fassona's joke, a real treat!!!!

26/12/2024: Good morning everyone. Ordered from Locanda Gallo 12 portions of seafood for export on 24/12, practically two days ago. Final deadline was disgusting. Tomato sauce, water, drop count, scampi and the rest thrown in the bin. Very disappointed for having made an impression. pooping with my guests for Christmas Eve I don't recommend this place

12/12/2024: Ah, che esperienza straordinaria presso questa pizzeria! Finalmente una rivisitazione audace della pizza: chi ha bisogno di una forma tonda quando puoi avere un’opera d’arte astratta nel piatto? Le nostre due pizze sembravano dei continenti alla deriva, con margini irregolari che sfidavano ogni geometria conosciuta. Un omaggio al caos cosmico, sicuramente. E poi il sapore: quel tocco di affumicatura! La parte bruciata non è certo un difetto, ma un raffinato tributo alla carbonizzazione. D’altronde, chi non ama masticare un angolo di crosta che sa di barbecue andato a male. Consiglio vivamente questa pizzeria a chi cerca un’esperienza culinaria unica. Ma unica davvero: una volta ti servono una pizza Picasso cotta con entusiasmo, la prossima volta magari un omaggio a Dalí con crosta croccante e con il formaggio che cola sul bordo come orologi molli. Innovazione pura!

11/01/2025: A rather unusual culinary experience. On the surface, everything seems fine—decent food with no major flaws—but when the bill arrives, you can’t help but feel like you expected more for the price, leaving you disappointed. Risotto can only be ordered in a double portion, which drives up the price of what is essentially a simple dish of rice and additions to that of a good steak (44 EUR). The fish is fresh and locally caught, but it’s prepared in the simplest way—just heat treatment. Some might enjoy the pure taste of fish, but I can achieve the same flavor by buying fish at the market and throwing it on the grill myself. I don’t need a restaurant for that. Alongside the fish comes radicchio, tossed on the plate without any finesse, and crispy, tasty polenta. The restaurant offers a good wine selection, but the staff lacks knowledge about the grape varieties and origins. Once again, I find myself comparing quality to price. And so, disappointment prevails... As per response to owner: The owner's response is exceptionally arrogant and warrants a comment. It's clear that the kitchen is designed for the convenience of the chefs, not the customers. I tried to be fair in my review, but some people let their success go to their heads. I've traveled across Italy extensively and have never encountered a requirement to order risotto for two people. Moreover, a simple walk around Chioggia is enough to see that this claim is untrue. Even in Bologna, I never paid €22 for risotto. Simple, rustic flavors can certainly be appreciated, but such flavors should come at an honest price, not at gourmet rates. This is a case of style over substance and ego over reason. It’s better to go to Osteria Penzo, just opposite —a family-run, friendly place with a wonderful owner who treats tourists just as well as locals. And the food is more honest too.

14/07/2024: A terrible experience. Biblical wait, but let's start from the beginning, we order two pastas with cockles (very salty and full of sand), a bottle of red wine (undrinkable due to how hot it was, in my opinion unpresentable at the table) and a mixed grill of meat where the nice.. I politely ask to have an extra piece of chicken and the waitress says that there are no problems, we wait more than an hour and a half and she shows up with this grill without chicken saying that it was finished, the sausage was inedible, the rib tips presented that I wouldn't even give to the dog (so to speak) terrible quality of food!! Ah...plus not even a € discount after all the protests.

30/09/2024: Ormai è una tappa, quasi fissa, quando passo una giornata al mare a Caorle. Birra ottima come anche panini, le bruschette ed i tramezzini. Prezzi assolutamente allineati alla qualità e non eccessivi. Bravi!

28/06/2024: A nice place to drink special beers or local ones...PS. The one from San Donà di Piave was as good as if it were from Belgium. And lots of good things to tease.
