10/05/2025: Stumbled upon Mira and loved it. Went there twice in a two day visit. The ravioli was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Highly recommend anyone going there. It’s on the water but away from the chaos of downtown Venice.

19/04/2025: Fuimos a este restaurante (hostaria) después de viajar todo el día y nos probaron y hambrientos. El personal era muy acogedor y amable, dado que 10 . 30 noches muy amablemente extendieron su horario de apertura para servir 2 deliciosos y recién hechos, al chef propias recetas únicas, cenas por la noche, acompañado de su propio pan recién horneado.

19/01/2025: the pizza arrived practically raw with very little cheese. Sour tomato. the seasoning (requested abundant) was not satisfied

27/03/2025: Unfortunately, the change of management did not live up to expectations. The previous management offered a much better service. The friendliness leaves much to be desired and the portions are embarrassingly small. A piece of advice: listen to customers more and try to improve, especially when problems with quantities are reported. Customer care makes the difference!

13/06/2025: The best Carbonara we found in Venice. Taste, texture, and fair price all in one! Went back again to check and same the next time. Good service, reasonable price drinks. Don't be dissuaded by the location.

14/06/2025: The wife was hungry in the early afternoon so we went up from the beach to look for a place and we stopped at this little place where you can eat at tables well seated and shaded. We had a kebab, pizza chips and drinks. All very good and plentiful at a convenient price. Kind and friendly staff. Well done Mimmo.

07/06/2025: Premetto che sono cliente abituale del chiosco Alga Marina da almeno un decennio, probabilmente da due ( i miei figli, oggi universitari, hanno mosso i primi passi in questo luogo!). Non scrivo qui per difendere la serietà e la professionalità di chi qui lavora, sia titolare o dipendente: non ce n’è bisogno alcuno, per chi frequenta questo luogo. Scrivo solo per mettere in guardia chi, trovandosi a passare per caso, leggendo recensioni come le ultime lette, decidesse di non fare sosta al chiosco Alga Marina! Attenzione! Vi perdereste qualcosa! L’ambiente familiare non inganni: la cucina qui è davvero da consigliare! I piatti, freschi e leggeri, preparati con ingredienti selezionati, si possono accompagnare a ottimi vini di una cantina ben fornita che predilige produttori del territorio. Dispiace davvero leggere certe recensioni fasulle!

07/06/2025: Chiosco è riduttivo…il cibo di qualità all’altezza di un ristorante! Piatti sempre nuovi saporiti e conditi con amore e fantasia! Personale attento e gentile! Alla ricerca sempre di migliorare qualità e servizio!! Una garanzia. La scorsa settimana abbiamo degustato spaghetti all’astice freschissimo!!! Bravi bravi

07/06/2025: Tranquilo, fuera de los caminos trillados, ambiente relajante. Asientos exteriores disponibles. El filete y el salmón eran excelentes. Cocinado perfectamente. El servicio es amable y atento. La pasta y los ravioles eran excelentes también. Cerca de la lavandería por lo que es conveniente si necesita lavar la ropa. Comimos aquí dos veces y volveremos si estamos en Venecia de nuevo.

15/06/2025: At Gemma you enter a trattoria that seems to have been frozen in time. You can still have a chat with Mrs. Gemma in the restaurant that is now run by her very good daughters. The choice is not excessive and the food is simple but very tasty, typical of the Venetian tradition. The experience ends with excellent homemade desserts. I recommend the trio of cod and the ricotta and fig dessert!
