29/01/2026: Fritto misto is a truly pleasant surprise in Venice. The fish is always fresh, and the batter is crispy yet light, without being heavy. The portions are just right, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It's become my go-to place for quick, tasty fish and chips in Venice.

26/12/2025: We arrived from Romagna late on Christmas Eve, and the only pizzeria open was Meridiana. Thank you, I work holidays too. Excellent pizza, excellent service, and kindness. Thanks to the only young waitress on duty, very, very nice!!!

09/09/2025: The food was good and the portions were generous. When you walk in, they'll find you a table (unless you've reserved). The problem is that they gave us a seat between two tables and two benches, which was really bad considering there were plenty of free tables... The parking lot is terribly organized.

04/09/2025: We had a delicious lunch. The couscous was excellent, with great attention to detail, including the fried eggplant strips. We also had the sea bream with olives and spaghetti pomodoro. Overall, we really enjoyed the taste, the ambiance, and the service. It wasn't your average tourist trap.

02/01/2026: I know the place well, and we're aware of its reputation for being an extremely good place, but its prices aren't always affordable. With that necessary premise in mind, we go for an aperitivo anyway, where we ask the waitress for two glasses of wine: a classic method and a fruity still white, and the very kind waitress offers to suggest options for us. We serve a Slovenian Chardonnay and an Enrico Serafino Alta Langa classic method. Everything is perfect, except that when we ask for the bill, the Slovenian wine is listed at €4.50, while the second one is €14.50, a price that I honestly consider excessive, considering it's not champagne and that if you buy a bottle privately at the wine shop, it costs €25. We would certainly have appreciated it if the waitress, when she suggested the wine, had shared the cost per glass with us in advance.

24/11/2025: Kudos to all the staff, masterfully led by the owner. Impeccable service, knowledgeable sommelier, and an extensive wine list. Creative chef and undeniably perfect flavor combinations. I highly recommend it.

15/09/2025: The place is nice, but small. There's a large garden in front with seating. You can watch the traffic. The service is friendly and speaks English. I ordered an Aperol and it was delicious. However, the tiramisu (a slice for 6 euros) was strange. The bottom sponge cake was warm, while the middle one felt as if it had been frozen. This is the first time I've encountered something like this. Perhaps the tiramisu in a jar for 8 euros would have been a better choice.

14/09/2025: The clerk was kind and smiling. The bar is located in a busy passageway...clean. The coffee wasn't to my liking, the tiramisu was dry, not very moist, not recommended.

05/02/2026: It was my fourth experience at this restaurant, and unfortunately the first on a Sunday evening. For work reasons, it was the only option for me to return, but I must say that the Sunday evening service seemed significantly inferior to other times, probably also due to weekend tiredness. It started with the bread: basically half a loaf, without breadsticks or other options like on previous occasions. We decided to ignore it. The cutlery was placed directly on the table: I'm a no-no, but I recognize that it's a matter of personal preference. The service was rather confusing. The waiter was a first-timer (and I can excuse that), but even the most experienced waitress seemed to be having a bad night. When we asked for wine by the glass, we weren't offered any alternatives: I had to suggest a Friulian; my son asked for a red, and again, no choice was offered; they decided by talking among themselves without involving us. We chose the tasting menu (3 cicchetti + 2 half portions) for €70 per person; there were four of us. When it was time to serve the plates, they were put down without any explanation: we couldn't remember exactly what we'd ordered, and worse, they didn't seem to know who to serve the plates to, so we ended up picking up the cicchetti somewhat haphazardly. At one point, a napkin was brought to us without any explanation: my son used it as a gag, only later discovering that it was meant as a placemat so as not to ruin the table with a dish served on a pot. A dish of Indian origin (I believe) was served without any instructions on how to eat it; when I asked for clarification, I was simply told, "like a sandwich." My son's dessert (three layers of puff pastry, €12) fell as the waiter set it down on the table and remained there, completely disorganized on his plate: my son reassembled it himself. The duck breast for the main course had a very bitter aftertaste; honestly, I couldn't wait for the evening to be over and preferred not to say anything. The final bill: four tasting menus, three desserts, a sorbet, and five glasses of wine for a total of €385. From a restaurant of this caliber, I expect service to be appropriate for the price, even on a Sunday evening. Even the menu offered that evening seemed distantly related to the three previous experiences. I'm very sorry to write this review because we were truly excited to return, given the positive memories. A bad evening can happen, but at almost €100 per person, it puts us off giving it another try. I thought long and hard before writing it, and I hope it will inspire us to improve our Sunday evening service.

27/06/2025: Great service. and delicious food ! The seafood ‘Fritto’ was perfectly cooked, accompanied by a wonderful dipping sauce, and presented beautifully. Dessert was also delicious - Flutte di Limoncello! -cool lemon gelato with Limoncello sauce. Perfectly refreshing on a hot day! Highly recommend this place!!
