06/06/2025: The place is simple, but the service is really fast and the staff is kind. The prices are reasonable, and the food - although I haven't tried many dishes on the menu yet - is good and well cooked. Perfect for a quick meal without spending too much. I will definitely be back to try other options!

22/09/2025: I had their pizza for the first time this evening. One classic and one on a peel. I have to say I liked the one on a peel better, it was really good. I liked the classic pizza less only because I'm used to a thinner dough, but in any case it was a well-topped, quality pizza. The ingredients used for the toppings are definitely higher quality than other takeout pizzerias. Simple, delicious mushrooms, you'd be hard pressed to find them like that! The home delivery service is also excellent.

20/06/2025: Oggi abbiamo visitato Chioggia e ci siamo trovati all’Osteria Penzo. Non avevamo prenotato ma i gestori sono riusciti a trovarci un posticino. Abbiamo mangiato i cicchetti come antipasto, gnocchetti buonissimi con vongole, radicchio e cipolla ed un’ottimo fritto.Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo, gestori molto cortesi.

19/06/2025: Ich hatte eine schöne Zeit in Chioggia und der Abend in dieser feinen Osteria bei Mario war das i- Tüpfelchen. Das Essen hervorragend! Der Service freundlich! Und obwohl man reservieren muss, bekommt man das Gefühl der einzige und beste Gast zu sein! Hier bekommt man gute Laune und verlässt das Lokal mit einem Lächeln. Vielen Dank, Mario!

07/07/2025: I have been a regular customer for years and it is always worse regarding the staff, such rude and arrogant shop assistants never met in any other supermarket. I was speechless to see how they treat customers, I will definitely not return, I prefer to change supermarket. I hope that sooner or later Panorama will realize the staff they are hiring🫣

04/06/2025: This place is at the corner of Fondamenta Minotto. The location is simple, without any glamour and heavy decor. We ordered carpaccio, pasta seppei Veneziana, and O. Diavola (seafood in a juicy tomato broth with polenta). Everything was delicious. The freshness of the seafood, along with the past, makes these dishes a pleasure to digest. Of course, wine was a good companion; a bottle of Valpolicella and 2 glasses of Merlot ended up mixing with a Tiramissu decorating the experience.

25/05/2025: Le personnel est très accueillant, disponible et aimable. La cuisine est excellente avec des plats un peu plus originaux que la plupart des restaurants que l’on voit dans Venise (dans ce niveau de prix en tout cas. Pour entrée plat dessert avec boisson sans le vin, compter env 45 euros par personne.

27/09/2025: Bad experience...the place is not suitable for celiacs or those with intolerances in general. Not everything on the menu is available in the kitchen. Everything is frozen. The price is crazy, really crazy: almost 50 euros per person.

24/09/2025: The place was clean and well-kept. We ordered takeout, right on time. The portions were generous but full of oil, and the soy noodles with vegetables were spicy, and the udon noodles were practically bland! No vegetables or meat. I don't think we'll order these truly disappointing dishes again.

03/06/2025: The Lunch was a dream with a excellent quality of food, best local wines and a very personal service by Simone. Freshly made with best components from the sea and from the land. The wine from the own culture was just best in class.

29/05/2025: After a week of travelling and eating some amazing food, I thought we'd leave on a high on beautiful Mazzorbo, rejuvenated in part due to Michelin starred Venissa and it's slightly more affordable Osteria. Let's get it out of the way - the location is incredible, with the open dining room being an exceptional way to enjoy view of the vineyard and Chiesa. We chose the Osteria, as it being our last night, we couldn't necessarily splash out on the main restaurant's menu. We also hoped a more relaxed atmosphere would make a nice change in busy Venice. While this was all true, it just led to the most disappointing meal of the trip. The food on the taster menu was various levels of 'fine'; while all locally sourced and fresh, everything tasted under seasoned and, in some cases, bland. Even my favourite dish, the main fish, was more appealing for variety and quantity than flavour. The dessert was also a damp conclusion, a simple meringue dish, which was a bit one note. The wine pairing also disappointed as the flavour of the food wasn't strong enough to interact, and vermouth as a final glass was wild. Service could have greatly improved our opinion but it existed in a strange middle-ground between fine dining (explaining the food and wine pairing) and poor table service (two staff, overworked and dismissive). We even started finding reasons to be annoyed by the end (other diners definitely got more from their wine pairing than us), such was our sour mood. All in all, wouldn't suggest making the journey and spending what was a lot for not much.

17/09/2025: The wine was served warm and undrinkable. The appetizer was served with the main course. My pasta with cream and salmon had no flavor at all. The waitress wanted to get rid of me quickly to serve the next guests. Sad.

12/09/2025: Very friendly service, no long waits, and we got our food quickly. To finish, we had a tiramisu, which we weren't quite as impressed with, but the rest was very tasty. There was grilled calamari with fried potatoes, lasagna, and pizza.

20/05/2025: I have had lunch at this bar-restaurant four times already and each time it has been a great experience. It is the ideal place for a quick but healthy lunch break: the lunch menus are varied, tasty and low-cost, perfect for those looking for something good without spending too much. The possibility of composing fresh salads at the moment is also excellent, with quality ingredients and generous portions. The atmosphere is informal and welcoming, the place is clean and spacious, so you never have trouble finding a seat, even in the busiest moments. I will definitely return: it has become one of my fixed points for lunch break when I am in the area!

20/09/2025: Rudeness on the part of the owner in approaching the waiters... a waitress this evening, when I asked for a paper cup to give my dog ​​a drink, told me that dogs are allowed to drink for hygiene reasons... hygiene? An outdoor-only restaurant, right on the beach... I'd like to see what the NAS would find in the kitchen... shameful!!! And I repeat, RUDE

15/09/2025: We were here four weeks ago. The staff were friendly and accommodating. However, we found the prices significantly too high. The food unfortunately didn't live up to expectations at this price level and therefore wouldn't recommend it.

13/09/2025: We had lunch at this place. The entire place is basic. The exterior is nice. The service was really slow. I had to ask if your dishes were coming. The menu, written out verbally, like a shopping list, without any explanation and without knowing the prices, is unacceptable. It's quite expensive. €30 for a grilled dish, no problem; I left because I was hungry. But I didn't order anything else for fear of staying overnight. Gnocchi, spaghetti with clams, and mixed fried fish, without dessert or wine, €75.

05/09/2025: Unfortunately, Ugo has been gone since November 2024, and believe me, it shows! The prices are extremely high and the fish isn't up to par. I won't be returning.

14/09/2025: Tasty, inexpensive, unpleasant. I advise you to come here only if you want to eat inexpensively and tasty and you don't care who and how will serve you. Been here twice. The first time I liked everything, including the service, so I wanted to come a second time and leave a good review...🥲 Anyway. 🍷 The food really corresponds to the price. Whoever wrote before that it was expensive or not tasty - don't believe it. 🍽️ Service is terrible. During the first visit, it was obvious that they were training new staff: they showed how to properly uncork and pour wine, how to properly serve, serve food. The second time we were so unlucky. There was a slight feeling that we were being neglected. Only one of us was not given a decoration during serving. I had to ask three times(!) for another 5 minutes to order, because the waiter ignored me and persistently asked what we would like to drink from my companion, who does not understand Italian or English. After the pizza and a plate of seafood, they did not bring napkins. 🗣️Atmosphere... And then fortune turned to us with a fifth point. After us, very noisy guests came to the restaurant and sat next to us. And during the entire stay, none of the staff asked them to be quieter. We noticed how all the guests looked at each other, whispered, and looked sideways. My mother got a headache from screaming. We could not stand it and moved outside, where they did not even offer to spread a tablecloth. Towards the end of our stay, it turned out that the staff spoke excellent Ukrainian. We discovered this when this review was being written and someone was listening very carefully to our conversations, not when we didn't understand what we were ordering and needed help. No humanity at all.
