22/06/2024: Stumbled on this restaurant whilst wandering the lanes and canals on way back to my accomodation. It is a small restaurant with about 24 covers and four outside run by two front of house professional guys. Being there at opening time, I can say that it filled up very quickly even if we were all told we had to be out by 21.00 as they had a special booking!! The starter of clams was, like others in Italy I experienced overwhelmed by butter but the octopus was the most tender I have had. It was accompanied by beans and potatoes baked in the oven and a sauce would have been a welcome addition. However, it was very good value.

17/06/2024: After 3 nights of terrible food in Venice, we decided to try this place and were very pleasantly surprised to find Venice does offer good food if you know where to look! The servers were excellent and allowed us to sit outside, by the canal, despite the windy weather. They helped me choose between the meals I couldn't decide between and were very polite in general. The food was very reasonably priced (a rarity for Venice) and the menu was great. I had the Bigoli and my partner had the ravioli - both were excellent.

19/11/2024: Breakfast with excellent coffee and croissants as well as the friendliness of the staff.

24/09/2024: The staff is polite, cheerful, delicious coffee and the concert in the square is phenomenal.

23/11/2024: The best beach snack / beach bar in Caorle Snacks are delicious, salads are top fresh, good selection, fast, friendly service staff, everyone is on their toes. The only thing you could complain about is the price level of the food.... but that's beach - summer - sun - Italy in the high season.... you know that... 😎😉🤪🇮🇹 🍷

09/09/2024: Compared to last year and the years before, burgers are just slapped down carelessly, without any effort. Pizzas are still okay but also significantly too expensive for the price quoted. The current new service staff, with the exception of one gentleman, seem listless and a little unfriendly. The ambience also seems very run down now. We now prefer to go to Havana next door. It's a shame after all these years that things have gone downhill so quickly.

27/12/2024: The best cichetti we had in Venice! Run by a mother-father-daughter team and such amazing service. Super affordable and right on the canal. We had the loveliest time and my partner raved about the food for days.

29/11/2024: No tengas albóndigas ya que no contienen carne. También sobreprecio : 5 "albóndigas" - 14 euros. Trampa hábilmente turística. El personal es amable

05/12/2024: I recommend both brioches and sandwiches, both are delicious! The coffee is also very good! Sandwiches and first courses are also available at midday. The staff is kind and pleasant.

10/11/2024: Ordered takeaway. There was a lack of food, regularly paid for. I called to let them know, and they said they would bring it to me right away. They never showed up again and we let it go. The food they brought was poor: the kebab was burnt, the pizza was completely tasteless, without salt, with the pizza box dirty. My friends and I will not order here again, and I would not recommend it. Order elsewhere, forget it

24/11/2024: Trattoria like those of the past! If you are looking for a refined environment, go elsewhere. If you want to eat local cuisine and home-made food you are in the right place. Even the price is still the same as it used to be (suitable for the place and type of cuisine)! What to say...recommended! The only flaw: I left with the smell of fried food on me

18/12/2024: Chi scrive che questo locale è caro, probabilmente nella propria triste esistenza non è andato una sola volta a comperare del pesce e di conseguenza non sa quali sono i prezzi di un prodotto di livello qualitativo elevato quale quello proposto da questo ristoratore. Probabilmente non sa neanche quali debbano essere i sapori e le sensazioni che un piatto a base di pesce fresco debbano richiamare ed evocare tanto è abituato ai piatti a base di prodotto surgelato che la gran parte dei ristoranti veneziani propone. L'esperienza di questa cena in famiglia ha rappresentato una delle più positive da me fatte negli ultimi anni. Quando il pesce è buono non ha bisogno di cotture strampalate che ricorrono a salse e farcitura atte solamente a mascherare la mancanza di freschezza del prodotto. Quando il sapore, il profumo, la consistenza dei gamberetti, delle cannocchie, dei polipi ti evocano il ricordo di quelli preparati dalla mamma o dalla nonna allora l'obiettivo di un risultato di livello è stato ampiamente raggiunto. Complimenti. Attribuisco con piacere la mia personale stella per la qualità!

10/12/2024: Buono ma troppo caro! 70€ a testa (sarebbe stato 175€ ma ci ha scontato a 140€ in due) con cinque antipasti di pesce (due crudi,due bolliti,due capesante), vino scaraffato (non in bottiglia), una bottiglia di acqua e due liquirizie e due limoncelli (shottini). Peccato…
