11/07/2025: One of the best pizzas I've ever eaten... friendly and professional staff! The manager... The added value is spectacular!!

10/07/2025: We ordered two pizzas that presented several problems. Besides specifying buffalo mozzarella and stracciatella, there were no traces of these two ingredients on the pizzas. The sausage on the pizza on the left looked like a boiled frankfurter, while the crispy guanciale on the pizza on the right, as you can see in the photo, was more pancetta (after cooking, therefore soft). Only the dough was fine. Besides the food, the biggest problem was the waiter (I don't know if Nicolas or Matteo, but he was probably South American) who came over three times in the space of two minutes to ask if we were ready to order. Despite asking us to wait, he saw us with our menus still open. Furthermore, as soon as I finished my pizza, he rushed to get my plate, asking for dessert or coffee, even though the person with me was still eating. It was an unjustified rush, as the place was more than half empty.

25/06/2025: I reserved a table at this restaurant several weeks ago – as a surprise for my girlfriend's birthday. I went expecting a special evening in an upscale restaurant. What we experienced, however, was an absolute disaster. The only thing "upscale" about this place is the location. Yes, the view is really beautiful – but that's it. The service is abysmal. You immediately notice that these aren't trained professionals working here, but people who clearly have no idea whatsoever about gastronomy. The appetizer arrived after what felt like two minutes – which hardly speaks for fresh preparation. As for the taste? Simply disgusting. The service was completely inattentive and indifferent. No smile, no interest – you felt more like an intrusion than a guest. The clientele? Rather loud and unpleasant – definitely not what you want for a special evening. When ordering, we explicitly stated that we would like the main course 30 minutes later so we could enjoy the appetizer in peace. But after the starter, it was clear to us: We just wanted to get out of there. So we asked for the main course to be canceled and the bill for what we had been served to be brought to us. Instead of simply accepting this, the waiter started arguing with us, saying we still had to pay for the main course – even though it wasn't served or in the kitchen (and if it had been, that would have been even worse). Absolutely outrageous! Conclusion: Bad service, bad food, bad clientele – the only thing nice is the view, but I might as well just walk along the promenade. This place thrives solely on its location – it has absolutely nothing to offer in terms of food and service. Never again.

09/06/2025: 5 stars! I recently went to Città d’Oro and had an incredible experience! The service was impeccable, the staff was friendly and professional. The food was simply delicious, every dish we ordered was carefully prepared and presented with style. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and intimate, perfect for a night out with a couple or just a dinner with friends. I will definitely be back! 🤩

04/05/2025: Excellent experience in this really nice farmhouse. The staff was very kind, everyone really was, we were two couples with two newborns and they treated us really well and made us feel comfortable. Among other things, the structure has spacious bathrooms with changing tables and they are really comfortable. We then ate and drank really well, tried appetizers, first and second courses and desserts, sharing various dishes and I found no defects, in fact, everything was really good. The wine is also excellent. There are several animals and the place is equipped to allow children to play. I really recommend it and we will definitely be back. Unfortunately I didn't take photos of the dishes, we were hungry and we ate everything with gusto!

01/06/2025: Pizzeria and trattoria offers really good food. Pizzas..... Also takeaway ...if you are in this area, or you are passing through try to stop........it's worth it........ The environment is welcoming, clean......... ....try.....it is suitable for both workers...... Groups...... Families...... Couples..... Reservations..... Try..... ...good prices..... And quality....fantastic fish..... Try it......

04/06/2025: I can't comment on the food because I only had drinks. I don't like giving bad reviews to the staff, but the rudeness, the tone, the absolute lack of kindness of everyone is disarming, as others have said. I would also like to remind them that it is illegal not to allow customers to pay only for what they have consumed and only allow them to pay "alla romana" (this was also communicated with great rudeness). Nice atmosphere, but I certainly won't be returning.

20/05/2025: Orphaned by my beloved restaurant where I had lunch for ten years and which, alas, has closed its doors, I am looking for a valid alternative. Today it was Sale e Pepe's turn. A 5-star lunch, both in terms of service (courteous, friendly and FAST), and for the quality of the dishes (spectacular carbonara, see photo), to finish with the absolutely fair bill. Have I found "my" place? It's too early to say. In the meantime, Sale e Pepe is currently the BEST in the province of Caprino Veronese, including the islands. Well done!!
