17/03/2025: **** Staff OK --- Pizza KO ***** One evening for dinner for 2 people we chose to eat pizza. The place is tidy, tastefully furnished, functional, but the temperature is a little low. Objectively I felt the handcuffing in several. The staff were always friendly and helpful, looking after us without ever insisting or being intrusive. Also very courteous in offering a bitter at the end of the meal. Unfortunately, however, the pizza was neither tasty nor light, unfortunately I cannot say that it was a pleasure to eat it. The ham was really too thin and didn't have an excellent taste, and the next day I still had to manage to "forget" it. I and the person who was with me had the same feeling of permanent heavyness until the morning. Perhaps the wrong leveling or less than excellent raw materials. But that's how it was! Sin! If they change pizza balls I'll be back! :-)

12/04/2025: Like every Saturday I take a macchiatone at the counter (actually this time two) and like last time the price list next to the cash register says €1.50 each. The barmaid writes out a receipt for €3.60 and when I ask for an explanation she calmly says: "they must have changed the prices". In my opinion, both the answer and the 20% price increase are beyond comment.

12/04/2025: Went for an outing with friends, type of place that does not meet my tastes, also an argument between a friend and a waitress a bit too "direct" and "outspoken" ruined the evening in part ... be careful with the all you can eat, or perhaps you must eat or pay, any leftover hamburger can cost a lot ... the idea that behind the speed with which the hamburgers are brought, almost to gorge you, and the desire to make you pay for the leftovers crossed my mind, considering that it was also the cause of the argument ...

08/03/2025: €5 and 50 cents for a badly made spritz, no come on!!!! We weren't even in front of the lake in Desenzano, plus the staff and I think owners were unpleasant and annoyed

02/04/2025: We booked for 3 on Wednesday, and luckily I would say. When we left the place was almost full. I took a diavola in my own way, excellent, with organic tomato, fiordilatte, sweet salami from Campania (julienne cut), 12 month Grana Padano, Calabrian nduja, basil, extra virgin olive oil. Then for my guests, a special of the week, meatballs and a margherita. Both good. We finished with a Campanian dessert called pastiera. Fast service. Polite and friendly staff. Oh I forgot they let furry friends in. prices a little higher than the competition, but it's worth it .

23/03/2025: True Neapolitan pizza, particular and unique flavours, quality ingredients. The dough is incredibly soft, the filling superb. Sore points are the prices and waiting times especially on holidays. Definitely worth coming back, also for the lemon delight dessert, I think it is one of the best desserts ever.

08/03/2025: Abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti per quattro pizze a 55€, acide e gommose, però a tratti buona. Il personale gentile, almeno quello. Senza pos e la banca più vicino e quasi un kilometro. Ambiente non da pizzeria, menù scritto a mano e stropicciato.

08/03/2025: Negativo! Tempi di attesa lunghissimi, non hanno il post, pizza pesante e gommosa! Mancavano degli antipasti (siamo arrivati alle 20) Mai più!

02/03/2025: Salumeria con ampia scelta di salumi e formaggi, ben fornita e molto bello il retro, dove poter gustare ciò che si è scelto di mangiare, perché vi è una terrazzina che affaccia sul fiume Adige. Quindi diventa tutto molto suggestivo.

01/03/2025: Gastronomia, salumeria gestita da padre e figlio vicino al Ponte di pietra. Prodotti eccezionali (la mostarda così piccante è da tanto che non la mangiavo...mi ha riportato indietro nel tempo, quando le mie nonne la preparavano con la vera Senape!). Ottima l'idea del cestino da pic nic, da gustare vista Adige! Una cosa ma che non influenza il mio giudizio...qualche sgabello mettetelo!!! Le panchine basse non sono proprio comodissime! Comunque lo consiglio vivamente!

20/12/2024: The pizzeria is very busy and therefore a destination for workers and those who have business lunches, the price list is that of the original Carlo rè in Borgo Venezia, the dough is similar but better in the other place, all in all a good experience.

11/12/2024: Ero alla ricerca di un locale con opzioni senza glutine in zona....un po' titubante (non vi erano recensioni recenti) ho provato L'Altro Carlo Re. Esperienza super positiva: - personale di sala super attento e preparato - pizza senza glutine molto buona - ho potuto prendere anche le patatine fritte perchè preparate separatamente con una frittura unicamente gluten free!!! Amici CELIACI super consigliato!!!! Io ci tornerò certamente ;-)

06/04/2025: We spent a wonderful Sunday with friends in this place surrounded by nature 😍 excellent dishes, good wine, very kind waiters, the only flaw regarding the starter for 4, I would do a little more because you don't know if you're going to get a single dish with little food, but it's just a very small parenthesis that I'll close immediately and it's absolutely not an offensive but a constructive criticism. Good value for money, finally a place where you eat well and don't spend a fortune. we liked everything, I absolutely recommend it and I personally will return ❤️
