10/01/2026: Leaving aside the issue of personal taste, which I don't dispute, many dishes were served cold (the various tarts) that should be served hot. Even the parmigiana was cold, and the tomatoes in the potatoes with tomato sauce were sour (not due to the spices, but to the tomato itself). It was an experience worth trying, but we won't be returning.
P.S. I'm a cook, so I think I know how to tell if a dish should be served hot or if the tomato sauce is sour.

24/02/2026: After reading the reviews and eating some terrible mini pastries, I went to this extraordinary pastry shop. Everything was delicious!
I had a babà with a balanced sugar and rum content, a delicious pistachio Chantilly cream puff, and the absolute best, a cream puff with amaretto Chantilly cream, simply divine! I'm a pastry chef myself, and I truly compliment the pastry chef.
Balanced flavors, a wide variety, and reasonable prices. I highly recommend it! Many, many compliments!
Your amaretto cream puff has remained in my heart.

08/07/2025: This evening I ate with my family at this randomly chosen pub. Very clean and welcoming. The sandwich was excellent, well-cooked. The music was pleasant. Everything was simple, and therefore enjoyable. 100% recommended.

06/03/2026: This morning, March 6, at 8:00 a.m., I stopped by Bar Bauli on Viale del Lavoro in Verona to grab a takeaway for two minutes. The cashier was quick and friendly, but unfortunately, when I got home, to my surprise, I noticed that the cake was as hard as a loaf of bread, and the filling was truly minimal.
I've never had anything like this happen to me, and I've been eating this cake for years!
I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed.
I hope it was some oversight and not a drop in the quality of the product, which has been excellent so far.
04/03/2026: An absolute must-see for those who want to sample Bauli's "minuto" (a typical dish). A must-see historic site.

28/01/2026: We booked a table for two a few days in advance for 7:15-7:30 PM. Over the phone, they told us the first seating was from 7:00 PM, but due to work reasons, we explained that we'd be 15-20 minutes late, and they granted it. We arrived at 7:21 PM, reported our reservation to the cashier, and in a snarky tone, they informed us that our reservation was no longer valid because we were supposed to be there at 7:00 PM, not 7:30 PM, since the table would be taken by 8:00 PM. Given that we had booked, the only solution would have been to wait until 8:00 PM for another table. So, given this attitude, we were forced to look elsewhere. If I were the person who welcomed (and kicked us out), I'd feel a little ashamed.

18/03/2026: My wife and I had lunch today in this very welcoming and equally well-maintained setting. The entire staff treated us wonderfully, especially the boss, Fabio, a wonderful man! The young people who looked after us were very helpful and courteous! The food was good. The wine was equally good! It was a joy to share a glass of a "special" wine with Fabio, who was happy to include us in this enjoyable tasting! Well done, and thank you.
08/03/2026: Excellent dishes: mixed boiled meat with pear, excellent veal ossobuco with exceptional polenta, and a fantastic sparkling red wine.
We were happy. It was our first time, but we'll be back to try the other specialties.

I took TO TAKE AWAY: 2 chocolate-covered cornflake pastries and 1 donut-shaped pastry made of shortcrust pastry, half white and half covered in chocolate... In total, I repeat: only 3 dry pastries and I spent a good €6.80... I can't explain this price!

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.
23/01/2026: I was passing through and stopped by chance for lunch. It's a canteen-style restaurant where you choose your food, tray in hand.
A good variety of dishes, very friendly and smiling staff (which isn't a given), and a refined atmosphere. Ample parking in front of the restaurant.
A generous first course, generous side dish, water and coffee for €12.
I was pleasantly satisfied, and if I'm in the area again, I'll definitely stop by again!

22/03/2026: Well, pizza by the slice, but a really good one. Prices are okay, perhaps a little more expensive than average, but the pizzas are really good. They're cooked so you can reheat them on the spot, and they come out perfect. By the way, a slice we took
home was good and crispy, and we reheated it the next day. Bottled beer is available for you to drink on the premises, and the service is friendly. No bathrooms.
14/03/2026: It's primarily a takeout pizzeria, but it does have seating for about 25-30 people inside for on-site dining.
We booked a table for dinner.
There's no menu; you choose your pizza at the counter based on the available flavors. The flavors are decidedly different from the usual menus.
The pizza is very good, classic pan pizza of a certain thickness, soft on the inside and crispy on the bottom; quality ingredients.
Dogs are welcome inside.
