01/07/2026: Ice cream is lovely but unfortunately staff is very rude. They are mocking English speaking customers between each other and it is very unprofessional. They mocked me, because my autistic son got overwhelmed and couldn't choose flavour.

The pizza by the slice was so-so; for some absurd reason, heating up a piece takes a quarter of an hour—ridiculous wait times for a slice of pizza by the slice.

13/07/2026: Terrible experience: As soon as I entered, I cordially greeted the staff, but received no response. I approached the counter and greeted them twice more, explicitly requesting a coffee, but the barista didn't even turn around, remaining intently looking at her phone from behind.
After being completely ignored, I decided to leave the place. Only then, probably because I was heading towards a back door, did the barista turn to call me back, telling me to exit the other way.
I find it unacceptable that there wasn't even a nod of greeting or willingness to simply order a coffee, while she was only willing to call me back.

Review edit after a good 9 years.
Overall quality declining, broken lamps, poorly maintained bathrooms.
The music is also loud and comes from a random speaker instead of a sound system.
The prices are as high as in better locations, or certainly better maintained ones (a medium IPA beer costs €7.50).

23/02/2026: There aren't many words... I can only say that I ate the best fried calamari of my life. The fish was so tender and the oil so clean it didn't even taste like fried food.
And the owner Lorenzo is a wonderful person!

03/06/2026: Always friendly and helpful. The food is well-plated and high-quality. The atmosphere is spacious, with a large dining room and a lovely outdoor terrace. Plenty of parking.
Excellent 🍕.
There is seating available in the large indoor dining room and on the outdoor terrace.
In both cases, the service is always very good, and the atmosphere ensures proper distances between tables so that diners aren't too close to one another.

Attentive and friendly staff.
Very good, typical local food.
Even though we arrived quite late due to a traffic jam on the highway, they served us very courteously.
I recommend the Bigoli with Donkey.
20/06/2026: We were guests at the property, and despite the apparent heat, we ventured to sit in the cloister.
It turned out to be an enchanting place with a very pleasant breeze.
The excellent food and amazing service, which we already knew, completed a super enjoyable evening.
5 stars because there aren't 6.

04/05/2026: My partner and I stopped for an aperitivo after a day at the lake. The atmosphere was elegant, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the drinks were expertly mixed. We ordered pizza slices to accompany our drinks, which were also excellent and topped with fresh ingredients. The price was more than reasonable considering it's just five meters from the lake. We were lucky enough to be there at sunset, and I have to say, it was breathtaking. We'll definitely be back!
