Ridiculous to read what bad reviewers are actually complaining about: the cafetaria is too busy, Italians don’t queue how I’m used to, I didn’t check my bill before paying,… Don’t expect the country you’re visiting to adopt your culture. We had lunch here and literally everything was fine. No pushy waiters but very attentive and patient ones. Decently priced pizzas and a nice Barolo (wine of the day).

After walking for a long time in Venice in the rain, we were delighted to settle comfortably on a plush banquette in a serene setting. The welcome and service were excellent, the pizzas were delicious with a thin and crispy crust, and since they were out of ice cream, the waiter brought us a dessert to share – divine! Reasonable prices.

After a stroll around the Fenice Theater, I was happy to stop at this pastry shop and restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful and refined. Delicious fritters for €2.40.

I tried their Cicchetti and lemon curd (lemon tart). They tasted delicious and fresh. However there is no queue management there and customers just decided on their own if they want to pay first or order first. The situation is a bit messy.

12/04/2026: I was a little concerned by the previous reviews. Cleanliness: good basics. Bathroom and beds always clean; details leave a little to be desired. There are real signs of dead mosquitoes on the walls, dust, and worn headboards. The inside temperature is very hot, and the air conditioning doesn't provide any cool air even on low. Minimal but good breakfast: croissants, salami, ham and cheese, rolls, yogurt, cereal, jam, hazelnut spread, juice, water, and hot drinks upon request. Really convenient location. PS: Bring mosquito tags for the night, otherwise they'll eat you!
05/04/2026: Room was okay but kids were covered in Mosquito bites. Air conditioning was not working due to it starts in April. If opened window then Mosquito were coming in so couldn't even open, didn't had good sleep because of that . There was no iron or iron board provided and that should be mentioned on website that you don't provide cuz of law so people dont get surprise. It was very annoying, couldn't wear the new clothes as they got really crinkly. Bathroom was clean but had a weird smell, couldn't figure out where is it coming from. Breakfast was included in price BUT it was not good at alland had very limited option(yoghurt tea/coffee, small crossiants and tiny rolls.) No omelette, pancakes, toast. Definitely need to work on this.

13/02/2026: Excellent pastry shop. Normal prices. Friendly staff. Very good butter cookies. The bitter almond paste is very good.
18/12/2025: Excellent service. Very good and friendly staff; they made an effort to assist us in Spanish. You can use the restrooms and eat inside or outside. I find the prices very reasonable.
