21/08/2025: The dog area is well-organized and very pleasant! We really appreciate the distance between the umbrellas and the gazebos, which ensures space and tranquility. The loungers are very comfortable, even for dogs, and the facilities (bar, restrooms, showers for dogs and people) are convenient and easily accessible. My only suggestion: it would be helpful to have leash hooks on the umbrellas (as I've seen on other beaches with dog areas). The staff is extremely friendly, and the lifeguards are always available, especially Costantino, who is truly attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

05/09/2025: I was there a few days ago: the pizza dough was fantastic (the thin one), really light. But the very limited toppings also contributed a lot to the lightness of the pizza! Considering that a pizza costs 15 euros... Finally, the elderly waiter was rude.

09/06/2025: We had really high expectations for this one as it had received a traveler award, unfortunately it didn't live up to the hype. Ordered bottle of wine, boar ragu, greek chicken and a couple fish dishes. Flavors were pretty bland across the board and nothing really excited us. We had a window seat which was amazing to look into the canal, but the food just didn't hit the mark for us. Menu also seems to focus heavily on vegetarian dishes with limited options for beef or fish.

24/05/2025: Volevo andare in questa affascinante trattoria da un po’ ma non trovavo posto …finalmente l’ho trovato e conto di ritornare quanto prima …antipasti ,primi e piatti di verdure ottimi tutto fatto in casa con materie prime eccezionali .I dolci sono deliziosi .Il personale gentilissimo,non solo i cani sono ammessi ma vengono anche super coccolati … il posto è arredato in maniera semplice e l’ambiente è molto caldo e accogliente .Tutto ottimo non ultima la posizione che è sull’acqua alla fine di Campo San Giacomo da l’Orio. Da non perdere!!!!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

02/07/2025: Excellent food. Excellent service. The dishes were thought out with a good combination of flavors. The food was fresh and high quality. The bowls were really good and the chicken salad was most excellent. We appreciated her patience with our English. Clean, local restaurant a little off the tourist path, but worth the short detour.

31/08/2025: A terrible experience. We were served by a dark-skinned waiter who takes out his dissatisfaction on the guests. I asked if they had lemonade, explaining that it’s just lemon squeezed into water, not juice, and he responded by making a gesture near his head as if I were crazy. After that, he served the toast by coming from behind and practically throwing it on the table without a word. I was so shocked by that gesture that I didn’t know what to say, but I regretted not just getting up and leaving. That waiter should not be taking out his frustrations and dissatisfaction with life on the guests and tourists, but rather work on himself.

24/08/2025: Terrible breakfast. Croissants not made by hand and no variety. The staff didn't even speak Italian. The waiters cleaned the tables, carelessly moving crumbs around using the menus. Even the lady at the counter was unprofessional. It seemed like everything was run by amateurs. It's a shame for a café that claims to have been open since 1760. What a shame we make for tourists who expect high-quality food from Italy. I won't comment too much on the bill, considering it's Venice, but based on the level of service, the prices should be kept lower.

29/08/2025: Unfortunately, I can't recommend it. The pizzas were standard, a bit smaller. A kids' burger with fries cost €14 for a meat bun, no salad, pickle, or anything else, not even ketchup or mayo. The fries were pale and bland. The bill was shocking. We had to shell out €90 for food we'd paid €60 for elsewhere two days earlier. The playground in front of the restaurant is run down and in disrepair, which surprises me at these prices, so there's nothing left for it. The service and friendliness were okay, but that doesn't justify the price. It's a shame; I don't want others to have to experience the same thing, so I took the time to write about it here. I feel sorry for the restaurant, too, but it just wasn't right.

21/08/2025: Delicious fresh pasta with fresh tomato sauce! Across the street is the small market square with a fountain. The interior has a cozy atmosphere, like a wine bar with a bar! Extremely friendly staff!

28/07/2025: Leider kann ich den guten Bewertungen nichts abgewinnen. Wir waren 17 Personen, Mittags gibt es keine Pizza was mit Kindern schwierig ist , dann haben wir Lasagne bestellt, die war eine Frechheit , noch dazu haben wir eine weniger bekommen als bestellt mussten diese aber bezahlen. Das andere Essen war auch alles andere als warm, sehr schade für diesen Preis erwartet man sich einfach mehr.

28/07/2025: Wir hatten Lasagne, Nudel mit Meeresfrüchte und frittierter Fisch. Für 24 € waren die Meeresfrüchte mit Nudeln sehr gut. Frittierter Fisch naja. Die Lasagne war gar nicht gut. Fertiggericht? Liebes Team, sorry geht besser.

05/02/2025: Very good food, but the waitress insists upon entry that you eat only a small amount of food and only a certain number of courses. Never happened to an all-you-can-eat restaurant.
