01/04/2026: Let me start by saying that I understand the season has just begun, but I still can't tolerate certain behaviors. I arrived for lunch around 1:30 PM; the place closes at 3 PM. When we ordered drinks, we asked for a lager and received an unfiltered one, without warning. The second time my companion asked for a beer, it wasn't even brought on a tray, but by hand, and honestly, this wasn't very welcome, especially given the normal cleanliness of the place. We asked for a platter of prosciutto and burrata as an appetizer, and the prosciutto was quite thick. Consequently, we ordered pasta with meat sauce and pasta with clams, the latter of which was full of sand. We ate it anyway and it was good, but eating sand wasn't great (and my companion is a chef and didn't particularly appreciate it). The chef justified himself with an annoyed noise we heard from the dining room, and then the waitresses explained the incident by saying that clams open and close again after cooking, whereas in reality they remained closed and full of sand. The lady at the counter apologized and gave us a discount, but it doesn't make up for the sand and the beer. I hate to write such a review, but both my companion and I were left feeling bitter and disappointed, even though we're both managers—I'm in the dining room and he's in the kitchen.

19/12/2025: Margherita Restaurant, located in the splendid Villa Franceschi, is more than just a place to eat; it's a true experience. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere enveloped us with a unique elegance, all complemented by lighting and furnishings that created a perfect ambiance. The dishes we tried, all seafood-based, were simply exceptional from the moment they were presented. Fantastic food in a historic Venetian villa setting that's always worth experiencing. In short, Villa Franceschi is a gem. From appetizers to dessert, everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail. If you're looking for a top-notch meal for a special occasion or simply to pamper yourself, this is the place. We'll definitely be back! 5 well-deserved stars.

18/01/2026: A young, fast sushi place, all you can eat or à la carte. The dishes arrive very quickly, the quality is average, with these tacky decorations on the plates. The tuna is so-so, the salmon is very fatty. The price is fair for the quality.

14/02/2026: The restaurant is very nice but cramped; the waitress barely had room to serve. The waitress was alone, and the restaurant was full. Waiting a little longer wasn't a problem. But 40 minutes to order drinks was really excessive. We only received our food after 1.5 hours (main course, yes; side salad, no). In some restaurants, that's the timeframe for a table reservation, and then you have to leave. Unfortunately, we also had to pay for the cover charge even though we hadn't received one. Quite cheeky. The food was very good, and the salad was large.

18/04/2026: TOURIST TRAP: We were lured to this restaurant by an older gentleman who's always at the door. Unfortunately, inside, it turned out to be a completely different story. Besides, the €22 fish menu was missing all the extras: €3 cover charge, €5 plastic bottled water, and €3.50 coffee. A complete scam. The first courses were acceptable, but the second courses were inedible. I strongly advise against this restaurant.

28/10/2025: Super delicious and creamy flavor! Lovely service. The flavors are on the wall, the gelato is covered (as some gelato purists say it should be). Highly recommend!

08/10/2025: I've been to Grom many times in the evenings and always get the lemon gelato, which is delicious. The service and communication with customers are excellent, and the Chinese woman in particular is very friendly and knowledgeable. A beautiful and unique place that you can't miss in Venice!

26/01/2026: A typical restaurant just outside the old Naval Arsenal. I had a truly light and tasty fried dish, and my son had excellent spaghetti allo scoglio (I couldn't resist a few bites). Lilli is truly welcoming and friendly. The price was in line with expectations. I recommend it.
