We order 1 Altaquota focaccia and 2 drinks at the cash register, I present the receipt to a person who in my opinion is not suitable for contact with the public.. I ask him out of courtesy to cut me the focaccia, with an annoyed attitude he tells me that he will provide me with a fork.. in the end he cuts the focaccia but not completely, furthermore it is still cold and inedible. I leave the focaccia.. I follow the exit route and decide to buy a pocket umbrella, I decide which one with the price displayed, I go to the cashier and a lady haughtily says to me "but you know it costs €24.00" (Displayed Price 12.99) I point out that it doesn't correspond to the display, I go back to the display and I get a second one at the same price displayed.. at the checkout I get it said in a very annoyed manner that I was wrong again.. I go back to check and all the prices don't match.. There are 2 shortcomings, lack of professionalism in displaying the items and above all the lack of courtesy on the part of the staff.

In the Ristorante you will find thousands of paintings, drawings, antiques and sculptures. Everything put together and realized with a lot of heart. Artists worked for years on the ceiling paintings alone. White tablecloths. Silver cutlery. Fresh roses and burning candles everywhere. Chandelier on the ceiling. Napoli at its best! Gerardo: With great attention to detail, Gerardo, supported by his great wife Nadja, directs his ristorante. For almost 30 years. He realized this gem. It's his life. Numerous regular guests come from far away just because of him. “Happy birthday,” I hear. Popping corks. There is laughter. Someone is celebrating their birthday in the restaurant. What a good idea! Lettuce: The nut salad with egg and crispy, fresh, warm bread is a delicacy. Main course: We order "La tagliate di manzo al extravergine". Prepared directly at the table on huge flames, this specialty is highly recommended. Tender beef reveals its full roasted flavors on rocket and parmesan. That's only available here. A pleasure. The chef serves fresh, mixed seasonal vegetables on a separate plate. Dessert: We choose mousse au chocolate. Totally delicious! Surprise: After the main course comes a huge crystal bowl with sweet watermelon on ice cubes. And the limoncello in the antique crystal glasses is particularly spicy and delicate. Drinks: The red wine recommended by Gerardo goes perfectly with the main course. Wonderful. Time: Time stands still at Ristorante Napoli da Gerardo. I've been sitting for several hours now. I eat, marvel and enjoy so much warmth, style and joy of life. Afterwards I feel as relaxed and happy as I do after a three-week vacation. Conclusion: No other restaurant has as much soul as Ristorante Napoli da Gerardo. That's why people come from all over the world. Next time I'll order pasta with lobster "Le tagliatelle "all'aragosta". I'm looking forward to it.

I go for a pizza that given the prices I ask for a mixed fried fish if the fish is fresh (100 meters from the water) and I am told yes, actually no, something fresh and frozen. And I point out the asterisks and then they tell me frozen. I take 2 pizzas and a French fry (6.5 euros). The pizzas arrive but they are baby and in the box I am 4 fingers away from the edge. I point out if they made a mistake but these do not. I wait for another order from the brothers-in-law made to go to the beach. The owner comes and takes me without consent the 2 pizzas and French fries, reimburses me for the 24 euros and sends me away because I made too much of a fuss. I must also say that I was not happy to take pizzas because since it is the only place open I had emphasized that when it is take-away and you eat with your eyes closed you do not know if you are eating pizza or cardboard. The place is good for foreign tourists (they are the customers) because they evidently have a different measure of quality.

Possibilità di avere brioche grandi o piccole. Buonissime anche le focacce tradizionali natalizie e pasquali.Trovate sempre fresche. La scelta delle paste e cioccolatini è molto varia. Abbiamo provato anche i tramezzini,molto buoni. In estate ci sono anche posti a sedere fuori. Trovo il personale sempre gentile e disponibile. Locale consigliato.
