09/04/2025: I find that Red Velvet is one of the few places in Padua where you can find a special variety of sweets and super good types of coffee!! Angela and Martina have always been very kind since the first day I set foot there. And full of vegan friendly options for those who are vegan or intolerant. Angela prepares each dessert with attention, dedication and attention to detail. He cares that there is something different every time and it shows! Honestly, I always see the little board full of good, good delicacies! The place is cuddly. The ice cream is good! I find that you can find different things from the "usual bar" in Padua, which makes it less boring and more special. Thanks Angela! Thank you red velvet for making my breakfasts good and special. I recommend it to everyone. Literally a friendly place!

23/04/2025: Bistro of a Michelin star restaurant, located in the main square of Vicenza, we were there on an early spring Sunday and took advantage of the sunny day to sit outdoors. Impeccable service and excellent food, I was sorry not to try other courses (seeing them go by made my mouth water), but it will be a reason to return. Super recommended.

20/04/2025: A wow to the whole team who work there. The food is excellent, small portions but fits. Service very fast, polite, nice and professional. The ambience is so beautiful that you don't want to leave. Would recommend to anyone who is in the Lido. We'll be back when we're in Venice.

22/03/2025: Ho tanti bei ricordi legati al Rifugio Scoiattoli, dove vado abitualmente fin da quando ero piccola con i miei genitori, ma il trattamento di sabato 15 marzo è stato molto deludente. La direttrice di sala e una delle cameriere ci hanno trattato con scortesia e prepotenza, evidentemente con l'obiettivo di far mangiare il maggior numero di persone nel minor tempo possibile e liberare i tavoli velocemente. Nonostante fosse in corso una nevicata e stessimo aspettando un’amica in arrivo, una delle cameriere ci ha intimato di mangiare in mezz’ora, una richiesta che non è stata fatta agli altri tavoli arrivati dopo di noi. La situazione è degenerata con un'aggressione verbale della direttrice di sala, solo perché cercavamo di fare partire l’ordine della nostra amica un po' dopo il nostro, per far sì che potesse mangiare al suo arrivo. Nonostante avessimo ordinato vari piatti e dolci, ci continuavano a mettere sotto pressione per liberare il tavolo, anche se ci stavamo mettendo lo stesso tempo degli altri tavoli (in tutto un'ora e 10 minuti, incluso il pagamento del conto). A un certo punto, la direttrice ci ha detto, in malo modo e con toni alti, che forse avremmo dovuto andare a mangiare in un ristorante stellato. Questo trattamento ha rovinato la percezione di un posto a cui eravamo affezionate e non è certo il trattamento accogliente che ci si aspetta nelle Dolomiti. Non è ammissibile trattare male i clienti e mettere questo tipo di pressione per accomodare più persone possibili. La reputazione che il rifugio si era costruita era basata sulla qualità del cibo e l’accoglienza. Si invita la direzione a una seria riflessione su che tipi di trattamenti e messaggi vogliono mandare ai clienti.

16/03/2025: Estábamos de excursión en la zona de montaña Cinque Torri y paramos para almorzar aquí como nos recomendó nuestra recepcionista del hotel. Era un día soleado glorioso, así que estaban muy ocupados. Por suerte consiguieron encontrarnos una mesa fuera de la cual era perfecto. ¡Tenía los mejores raviolis caseros de remolacha! De hecho, todos los platos que se estaban sacando se ven fantásticos. El pan era excelente también - siempre el signo de un buen restaurante. Recomendaría encarecidamente este rifugio para el almuerzo en las montañas!

02/05/2025: Ci siamo seduti per mangiare,20 minuti per sparecchiare il tavolo precedentemente usato da un altro cliente,altri 20 minuti per ordinare l’acqua,altri 30 minuti per prendere l’ordine delle insalate e per concludere ulteriori 35 minuti di attese per avere le insalate.ce ne siamo andati pagando solo l’acqua. Pessima esperienza

15/04/2025: Sono andata con mia figlia per festeggiare la sua laurea. Posto carino cibo discreto spritz preparato con un bitter artigianale che a mio gusto nulla a che vedere con quello tradizionale al Campari. Peccato per la proprietaria che non ha saputo gestire con cortesia ed accoglienza ma invece in malo modo gli imprevisti legati al tempo e ad al numero dei presenti superiore a quello concordato. Un grazie speciale invece alle cameriere molto gentili e simpatiche Per la mia esperienza non lo consiglierei

Aside from a few small details (I order water, wine arrives, the bread runs out and they don't replenish it) I ordered pasta with garlic and oil (it was on the list for a business lunch) and I got a [very] overcooked pasta with three stuffed peppers (the kind you get from jars at the supermarket, ed.) and heated in a pan together with the pasta. It is important to underline that these peppers, which contain a filling of capers, oil and tuna, cannot be cooked in a pan, because they take on the temperature of the much more famous ones mentioned by the great Paolo Villaggio (24 thousand degrees Fahrenheit) and become DANGEROUS if someone has the unfortunate idea of ​​swallowing them as they find them on the plate. Then, given that thanks to their filling and the fact that they were previously cooked with a mix of water and vinegar (from the canning factory that prepares them) they are decidedly acidic and out of place on a pasta that has, or rather, should have, a completely different characteristic. The second was a grilled chicken breast that was too thick to cook all the way through, which is another significant risk factor. The baked potatoes, incredibly, were boiled and reheated (perhaps) in the oven but looked exactly like boiled potatoes. In short, to each his own job, but despite the cheap prices it can't be called a "restaurant". Better to change (job).

03/01/2025: Good morning, Hotel Palace in Rovigo, to be avoided like the plague. I spent the last of the hungriest year of my life. I chose menus for celiacs and they brought me unseasoned white rice, which I refused, then they offered me a cut with vegetables: it never arrived! After numerous reminders and complaints at 12.41 minutes they brought a single plate of raw ham even though there were three of us and at different tables. After another hour a single plate of Ascoli olives arrived!!!! It means that they don't even know what a celiac can eat, certainly not breaded food given that all foods containing gluten (various flours and cereals) are prohibited. Total disorganization, the waiters, all foreigners, did not know how to speak Italian, served the tables without checking the bracelet and without any direction from the manager, they were in disarray. Those who had chosen the pizza menu ate almost at midnight, making do with whatever taste came their way so as not to remain on an empty stomach. Truly horrifying situation. On the other hand, the company was excellent, congratulations to our organizers who animated the evening with great professionalism.

15/04/2025: The worst Italian pizza I have ever eaten, made without desire and with a low quality product. The staff seems bitter, very unfriendly. Very expensive for what you eat and how they treat you.

15/04/2025: Of my entire trip through Italy, this was honestly the worst pizza we ever ate... it didn't even have any flavor; The tomato base was industrial and the final touch of oregano ate up everything else. With all this, it was also one of the most expensive!! The day I return to Venice, of course I will not return here.

23/02/2025: I paid €9 for a pizza with VERY FEW FRIES AND VERY FEW PIECES OF SALAMI. €9 is already a lot for a pizza like this, imagine if there are so few toppings on it! I even took photos as proof, not having seen what it looked like in the pizzeria, I noticed it when I got home. I don't recommend coming here, paying €10 for a pizza and receiving so little attention and such poor service is absolutely not right.

21/03/2025: Very good tasty gelato however, we ordered 2 grande and 2 bigger sizes. Thing is the server only count 3 of those which got messy later .... Probably held up the line We also ordered 1 espresso however it took more than 10 minutes to arrive. She had served at least 15 costumers too... She was all by herself too so i am not complaining that much, but still.... it took lonnng time for a small espresso

09/09/2024: NON ANDATE, se volete spendere per mangiare male ragazzi fate voi, l’anno scorso sono andata e posso assicurare che si eravamo trovati bene, il cassiere si è rifiutato di accoglierci alla cassa ed è stata costretta a venire la cameriera. NON DICO ALTRO, si vergognavano pure loro per i piatti che uscivano dalla cucina e per il disagio dei clienti, pasta precotta (confermato dalla cameriera) vongole insapore, pizza surgelata ricoperta di mozzarella e gommosa, pesce fritto surgelato. mi fermo qui

05/01/2025: Ospite di amici. Ho avuto l’ impressione che tutto quello che ho mangiato fosse precotto.. preparato ore prima e riscaldato un po’ alla meglio, pasta inclusa. L’ ambiente che circonda l’ agriturismo indubbiamente è bellissimo e da cartolina. Per il resto non ci sono le basi della ristorazione.
