20/11/2025: Terrible! Six of us went for lunch. When we booked, we asked if we could eat in 40 minutes... they confirmed... when we ordered, the staff was unpleasant and annoyed by our requests. We were presented with the available dishes. Half of what was available online. Tortelli similar to tortelli nn (8 in number). Rubbery gnocchi, ragù with tomato sauce and a few measly pieces of meat. Grilled eggplant (5 slices). A friend of ours ordered chicken... it arrived after 40 minutes (13 people in total in the dining room). Unforeseen events or difficulties can arise; it would be enough to admit it and apologize, we would have understood... but we were also treated rudely. Last thing... a medium-sized dog was present in the dining room and a small Maltese-type dog wanted to leave the kitchen, whose door was promptly closed 🙂‍↕️🥴

20/11/2025: Unfortunately, I can't give a positive review. The portions were very small, and the staff was quite rude. The place presents itself as a trattoria, so I obviously expected a homey approach (which I usually appreciate), but unfortunately, the cleanliness and attention to detail leave much to be desired, particularly the presence of a dog in the kitchen (and I say this as an animal lover, but not in a restaurant kitchen). Furthermore, probably due to a series of misunderstandings, we were rudely called back for a payment mix-up. I'm sorry.

31/08/2025: From many kilometers away from here I frequent many Japanese/Chinese restaurants but the quality even if far from the sea was much better... raw grilled fish... without a main course but only the dishes they serve with miserable napkins... in short, if they asked me for a restaurant like that I certainly would not recommend this one, especially since it is still in the medium-high range especially in the summer season and is located on the seafront. I would say FULLY FAILED, SORRY.

22/03/2025: Ho tanti bei ricordi legati al Rifugio Scoiattoli, dove vado abitualmente fin da quando ero piccola con i miei genitori, ma il trattamento di sabato 15 marzo è stato molto deludente. La direttrice di sala e una delle cameriere ci hanno trattato con scortesia e prepotenza, evidentemente con l'obiettivo di far mangiare il maggior numero di persone nel minor tempo possibile e liberare i tavoli velocemente. Nonostante fosse in corso una nevicata e stessimo aspettando un’amica in arrivo, una delle cameriere ci ha intimato di mangiare in mezz’ora, una richiesta che non è stata fatta agli altri tavoli arrivati dopo di noi. La situazione è degenerata con un'aggressione verbale della direttrice di sala, solo perché cercavamo di fare partire l’ordine della nostra amica un po' dopo il nostro, per far sì che potesse mangiare al suo arrivo. Nonostante avessimo ordinato vari piatti e dolci, ci continuavano a mettere sotto pressione per liberare il tavolo, anche se ci stavamo mettendo lo stesso tempo degli altri tavoli (in tutto un'ora e 10 minuti, incluso il pagamento del conto). A un certo punto, la direttrice ci ha detto, in malo modo e con toni alti, che forse avremmo dovuto andare a mangiare in un ristorante stellato. Questo trattamento ha rovinato la percezione di un posto a cui eravamo affezionate e non è certo il trattamento accogliente che ci si aspetta nelle Dolomiti. Non è ammissibile trattare male i clienti e mettere questo tipo di pressione per accomodare più persone possibili. La reputazione che il rifugio si era costruita era basata sulla qualità del cibo e l’accoglienza. Si invita la direzione a una seria riflessione su che tipi di trattamenti e messaggi vogliono mandare ai clienti.

16/03/2025: Estábamos de excursión en la zona de montaña Cinque Torri y paramos para almorzar aquí como nos recomendó nuestra recepcionista del hotel. Era un día soleado glorioso, así que estaban muy ocupados. Por suerte consiguieron encontrarnos una mesa fuera de la cual era perfecto. ¡Tenía los mejores raviolis caseros de remolacha! De hecho, todos los platos que se estaban sacando se ven fantásticos. El pan era excelente también - siempre el signo de un buen restaurante. Recomendaría encarecidamente este rifugio para el almuerzo en las montañas!

02/11/2025: I asked for a vegetarian pizza and they gave me a pizza with meat... speechless, and no, it's the first time... I'm tired of this situation.

01/11/2025: We went in for a shot, and they charged us the same price as the cocktails. When we asked the bartender about it, she didn't offer any explanations, but instead responded in a haughty, condescending manner. We paid, left, and won't be returning. Not recommended.

13/10/2025: Centrally located and bright, the staff are welcoming and the service quick. You can enjoy a quick, healthy meal in a simple, clean, and bright space. I recommend it.

16/10/2025: The seating is nice, but the price/performance ratio isn't good. €15 for a few pieces of fried fish without bread, etc., isn't reasonable...

08/11/2025: I go for two coffees and two buttered baskets, and I leave soaked in coffee. An employee spills a cup of boiling hot coffee on me, staining my wool shirt, pants, and leather jacket. The redness from the burn will go away in a couple of days. I go to pay, and after eating the basket in the middle of the coffee-stained floor, chairs, and everything else (Rosy, I think her name is), she doesn't know anything about what happened. She apologizes and says, "Oh well, he won't pay for the coffee!" If I were like them, I'd have to give them the dry cleaning bill, maybe force myself on the dermatologist, fearing burns, and take legal action... some people find things easier to get into their heads than into their heads.

01/11/2025: A Corner of Sweetness and Quality Entering this pastry shop is a pleasure for all the senses. The environment is clean and well-maintained, with both indoor and outdoor tables available, perfect for a relaxing break. The cappuccino was excellent. The real triumph, however, were the cream puffs. I would definitely call them exceptional. The choux pastry was light and thin, but the creamy and abundant filling was the real treat. You can immediately taste the superior quality of the ingredients used. The prices are high, but absolutely justified by the high quality you receive. A must-see for those seeking not just a dessert, but a true taste experience.

01/10/2025: Nice, large place. The wait staff seems to be in sloth mode. The gelato I'd raved about so much ended up being nothing but a cold, rubbery mess. Parking is limited.

04/10/2025: WHAT HAPPENED? Accustomed as we were to sfogliati (not the usual brioche we're used to, but REAL sfoglia) filled to the brim with pastry cream and cappuccinos served in large cups (at a standard market price), we were DISTURBED: small cups, sfogliati with a drizzle of cream, and sky-high prices (€2 for a cappuccino and €2 for a brioche in the province, which in our opinion cannot be justified with the usual "due to the increase in raw material prices" argument). We weren't just passing through but regulars. We're very sorry, as the service is excellent and the place is a lovely place for a Sunday breakfast, but now we're forced to choose another destination. Please come back again!!! We'll be there!

02/10/2025: Good products, but prices have gone up significantly. It's basically 9 euros for two croissants and two cappuccinos. I don't even pay that much in the center of Padua.

20/11/2025: Terrible experience, rubbery and burnt pizza... considering more than 10 euros per pizza I'd say it's definitely not up to par...poor quality

06/11/2025: The least bad in the area? When the restaurant opened, the pizza was good, well-made, with a nice thick crust. After years, with each new pizza maker lasting 3-6 months, the quality of the pizza has gradually deteriorated. Now the crust is practically nonexistent, the tomato sauce is dry, the mozzarella is rubbery... bah...

28/09/2025: A very convenient location in the center of Dolo, on the main street. Neat and clean. The quality of the products offered is excellent, and the service is prompt and professional. Average value for money. Seating is available in the spacious interior. Highly recommended. Thank you 🙏

14/09/2025: Terrible, icy counter staff... never a smile, always long faces, a soy macchiato with a real drop of cold soy for the price of a cappuccino. Very good at losing customers 👏 unfortunately I threw the receipt away in anger at the mockery.

18/06/2025: For the umpteenth time a small and deformed “baby” pizza, a completely wrong pizza. 4 out of 5 times there is a flaw: raw, with a hole, wrong, deformed… It seems to be done on purpose…. Come on, it is not possible statistically.
