28/02/2026: I had dinner here and tried the pizza al testo, which was good and the portions were just right. But I have to point out that: The place is chaotic, and if you're at a table near the door in the winter, you get all the air, since people are constantly passing by going in and out (the passageway looks like a catwalk for men and women 😂, except everyone here goes drinking and smoking). That said, the staff was rude. When I asked for room-temperature water, the woman seemed pissed off and thought it was a pain in the ass to change the bottle (she'd better change jobs) 🤭 They cleared the table and didn't even ask if we wanted dessert... It's better this way, the profit isn't for them.

28/02/2026: I've been to CheTesto and can say it was a wonderful discovery. A welcoming place, with a casual yet refined atmosphere, perfect for both a dinner with friends and a romantic evening. The meat is truly their strong point: top-quality, tender, and perfectly cooked. You can taste the carefully selected ingredients. The pizza al testo is also excellent, fragrant and generously topped, with tasty and never boring combinations. Generous portions and beautifully presented dishes. The staff was friendly, cheerful, and helpful throughout the evening, which always makes a difference. The price-quality ratio is also absolutely fair for what they offer.

17/04/2026: Hospitality, courtesy, helpfulness, food...I could go on and on...in short, in a nutshell...everything is IMPECCABLE!....A family-run location in a small square with a wonderful view of the valley....A lovely little place inside, but eating out is essential for me, and I opened this place right here, in April...the best time of year, for my tastes. A special thanks goes to the owner, GIULIO, hospitality personified, practically perfect, empathetic, precise in explaining the various dishes, but especially in accommodating, even on holidays, those with food intolerances, a rare thing these days! 13/01/2026: The place is really nice because it basically has two rooms: the historic one and the former pastry shop. I have to say, the food was excellent, and I'd say the desserts were excellent, but the wait was incredibly long (two and a half hours for 9 people to have lunch). I don't know if it was a coincidence that it was a holiday.

06/01/2026: Incredible experience! We were looking for a traditional place and found a treasure. The place is breathtaking, with a visit to the underground cellars that left us speechless! The food is divine: local cuisine, with traditional dishes prepared with top-quality ingredients that amazed us with their quality and flavor. ​Antonio made the difference: rarely have you found a waiter so knowledgeable, cheerful, super attentive, and so friendly. He recommended the best dishes, making us feel truly pampered. If you're looking for quality, impeccable service, and an extraordinary atmosphere, this is the place.

16/02/2026: We had lunch in this restaurant in the village of Otricoli, a small village located between Magliano Sabina and Terni. What can I say? The dishes were cooked with the flavors of the past. The staff were very young, very good, professional and very welcoming. It felt like being at home (it happens that I wander around but I have never found such a perfect little restaurant). We ate 4 excellent first courses, pappardelle with real wild boar 😊 I think the best in Lazio and Umbria, and a starter and dessert each, which were really inexpensive. I recommend trying them.

It offers both a restaurant option with vegetarian and vegan cuisine and all the typical dishes, as well as a pizzeria. Excellent and very friendly service. We tried the vegetarian menu, which was delicious. Highly recommended.

13/04/2026: Given that customer service should be the foundation of a restaurant, this is precisely what's missing. With occupancy at around 50 percent, I'd guess there were quite a few unsold tables. As soon as we arrived, they assigned us a table in front of the laundry. I asked them to move me, and they assigned us a table in front of the restroom. Now I work in the industry too, this is called customer disregard. I had to eat and listen to all the comments from people in the restroom. They forgot a dish on my order. Well, honestly, it wasn't even that cheap. If I'm ever in that area again, I'll know where not to go. The food is average, nothing to wow! In closing, after a month of very professional response, I can rest assured that I will 100% follow your advice to never come back.

03/02/2026: Great authentic food for a fair price, the people are lovely but getting a reservation via WhatsApp isn’t easy if you don’t respond quickly (if your Italian is good this of course won’t happen). Recommend getting the Ciriole alla Ternana, it is a great traditional meal.

05/04/2026: What can we say about their GELATO CARRETTO in Piediluco? Absolutely excellent product, but what struck us most was that the cart is entirely gluten-free. Thank you! My daughter, for once, was able to enjoy gelato at the Carretto without feeling different, and like all families, she was able to try our flavors too.
