06/06/2025: ...I have to say that if they hadn't told me I wouldn't have believed it! On Sunday 1st June, after visiting the Marmore Falls, the Landlady of the Guest House Runcini suggested that we come to lunch here in Ara Marina (obviously booking in advance). They welcomed us like never before and the kindness came first of all! I had asked to pay homage to my Partner (for her birthday) with some Roses at the table... and so it was. We had lunch with a fish first course and then we had a light and very fresh Fried Food accompanied with excellent French fries. The place is magnificent and silent... All of Nature surrounds and envelops you! After lunch we stopped on the lawn next to have coffee and dessert and the day continued in serenity. 12/08/2025: Average service, the two waitresses were friendly. As for the food, it was truly disappointing. We had an appetizer of cured meats and pecorino, but instead of pecorino, they had a completely different type of cheese. The cuts of meat were badly cooked and completely soaked in oil. I think a cooking class by the chef wouldn't be bad. And finally, the side of baked potatoes was inedible, old and flavored with some spices that didn't quite fit. It's a shame that we ended up here during our two-day stop in Orvieto.

27/07/2025: The food was good, average Umbrian fare. The portions were very generous and filling (especially the appetizer), but nothing special. The value for money is okay. The ambiance is pleasant, but if you sit outside, you have to expect cars to drive past you. The service was attentive and friendly.

03/08/2025: abbiamo passato una bella serata grazie al personale molto gentile e disponibile e al buon cibo. Noi abbiamo scelto pietanze completamente vegetariane ed erano gustose, particolari e non monotone.

31/07/2025: A great find, the welcome was super friendly and attentive to our two children. The egg with truffle, local appetizers, and very good first courses. The setting is nice, nothing special. I'd fix up the bathroom.

07/05/2025: Conosco le peschine e di solito prendo quelle a colazione, sono buonissime, le migliori di tutte , nei dintorni... Ma c'è un MA...l'ultima volta ho voluto provare la loro brioche alla panna...con mia grande sorpresa, visto il nome e la fama della pasticceria la panna non era panna vera, ma panna vegetale!!! Incredibileee, ma come mai mi chiedo? Una persona a cui piace la panna, perché dovrebbe prendere un pezzo di brioche secca , neanche fatta bene e immaginare un qualsiasi sapore all'interno? Perché la panna vegetale non sa di nulla naturalmente. Da una pasticceria che si rispetti, ci si aspettano almeno ingredienti di qualità. La prossima volta solo peschine!!!

26/07/2025: We waited a long time, about 40 minutes, to eat some focaccia, no internet, limited menu (only focaccia), and even no lemon/peach tea, very small place but at least the food is good

26/05/2025: Hemos vuelto muchas veces a esta hermosa villa en los últimos veinte años. Dirigida por la familia durante muchas generaciones, la bienvenida siempre es cálida para todos. La comida es excelente, de temporada y preparada con cuidado. Elección de vino, nunca decepciona. El servicio es excepcional. Todo dentro de esta hermosa villa con su autenticidad situada en impresionantes jardines. Por supuesto que volveremos. Gracias.
