23/10/2024: Literally unbelievable. Trust me when I say this, if you come here you will not regret it. Firstly, if you haven't been to this town, the view from this place and the look of everything is like something out of the movies. You come over the hill and it's like you've crossed into Switzerland or something. Second, the people are just so amazing. Maria has got to be the kindest, most epic person in the hospitality business we've ever met. She literally will make dinner with the rest of the crew and leave at 10:30 at night and then come back to make breakfast at 8:00 in the morning. If you're traveling around and you have laundry, they will wash and dry and fold your clothes for you. I'm telling you, this place is something else you've never experienced. In the old town, up the hill, you absolutely must to stop at the little bar on the left and visit Roberto, third generation owner of this little bar that was opened 103 years ago.

From homemade pasta to roasts, each course is taken care of down to the smallest detail in both taste and presentation. I particularly appreciated the Fusilli with broccoli, anchovies, olives and toasted bread crumbs: an explosion of flavour! Desserts are also a must: the homemade Tozzetti and glass of Collina d'Oro Roccafiore passito are amazing! The staff is extremely professional and welcoming, with attention to the customer that immediately makes you feel at home. The suggestions on wines are also excellent, with a well-stocked cellar that ranges from Umbrian and national labels. The environment is elegant and refined, perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. 30/03/2025: We arrived in Perugia in the rain and were looking for a restaurant that made round pizza for lunch so we opted for this little restaurant that was a bit hidden but really nice. We were welcomed with courtesy and advised on what to order: a mountain appetizer, two very good pizzas for the little ones, a very good tartare for me and some exquisite desserts. Recommended for those passing through Perugia, we will definitely be back 👍

16/03/2025: The best restaurant in Perugia and one of the best in Italy! An incredible experience! The owner is uniquely kind: he welcomed us warmly, recommended dishes with passion and dedication, and even opened a bottle of wine just for us. You can see that he loves his job, and this care shines through in every detail. The quality of the food is exceptional: first choice ingredients, authentic flavours. We ate fabulous pasta with Umbrian sausage, cream and truffle, as well as a delicious platter of local cured meats and cheeses. Each dish was prepared to perfection. We stayed here for our anniversary and left delighted. The only aspect to consider is the atmosphere: slightly more suitable for families than for an intimate dinner. But this does not change the extraordinary quality of the restaurant. If you are in Perugia and don't come here, you are missing out on a unique experience. Highly recommended!

Abbiamo preso impepata di cozze e tortino di polpo e patate veramente buoni E x primo tagliolini al nero di seppia e paccheri al sugo di calamaro, straordinari e per non parlare del tiramisù, meglio de quello che fa mi madre... 16/03/2025: We had dinner on a Saturday with two children. Excellent food quality. Crostini with liver pâté as they were once made, truly excellent. The children were happy with the trofie and the meatballs with sauce. We cut and baked Tomahawk, large in quantity and quality of meat and at a reasonable price. Unfortunately we weren't able to get the desserts as we were full but there will be a way. Great location

22/02/2025: Panna a pagamento... da romano lo trovo assurdo, ma vabbè, posso accettarlo. Quello che trovo veramente esagerato è il prezzo: 17 euro per mezzo chilo di gelato! Considerando anche la scarsa voglia di lavorare del personale, l’esperienza è ancora più deludente. Una volta sono entrato, ero l'unico cliente, c'erano due persone dietro al banco e nessuno si è degnato di servirmi. Dopo tre minuti di attesa nel nulla, ho salutato e me ne sono andato. Purtroppo, non ci sono alternative nei dintorni, quindi se voglio un gelato sono costretto ad andarci... ma sempre a malincuore.
