After a walk in the woods, it's lovely to stop for an aperitif with a platter of local delicacies, a lunch featuring seasonal dishes, always something to discover and taste, a delicious coffee with a delicious slice of homemade cake in a welcoming and always well-kept setting. Kudos also to the friendly and fast staff; keep up the good work!
29/12/2025: Magnificent and meticulously maintained location, young and dynamic staff, extremely kind and attentive, as if we were special guests, traditional yet elaborate dishes in superb combinations. It's a shame I can only give it 5 stars!

This place has a lot of potential.
01/11/2025: I think the photos speak for themselves. We went to Lanterna to try their contemporary pizzas, which I'd describe as out of this world. Refined ingredients, a different take on gourmet pizza: crispy, delicious, unique, delicious, and never boring.
They also have a wide selection of craft beers and delicious desserts.
Perfect for a romantic evening or for a group of friends who enjoy good food. Ample parking and a well-kept, clean space.

25/01/2026: Incredible views of the Adige Valley and Trento, enhanced by the skyline of the Brenta Dolomites. The restaurant lives up to its origins as a refuge, combining hospitality, attentive service, and respect for the surrounding environment. Nature completely surrounds the structure, enhanced by multi-level terraces that allow guests to fully enjoy the view and the setting.
The extremely courteous, attentive, and attentive staff guides guests through the menu and wine pairings.
The highly interesting, never boring dishes showcase local products, expertly combining them.
A large parking lot hidden behind the restaurant ensures accessibility to everyone.
A must-try and highly recommended.
17/01/2026: Very nice place, but we were unsure about the food. We had ordered ribs and were served the bacon part. Obviously, the meat was very different from what we expected; it's different cuts.

03/01/2026: Excellent hotel with a beautiful lake view. We stayed five nights, including Christmas. We will definitely return in the spring/summer.
02/12/2025: Gorgeous restaurant, truly excellent service, and sublime dishes. A must-visit for anyone who wants to enjoy local dishes and a view of the lake. I also ordered some local products, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

07/01/2026: It's worth noting that Luserna, a quaint and isolated mountain village, boasts a remarkable dining scene, with at least four noteworthy establishments, including Ferdy.
This historic restaurant has been tastefully renovated and is professionally managed. The young chef offers traditional Trentino dishes, many of which have been expertly reinterpreted. Friendly service and moderate prices.
02/01/2026: We stopped in today, almost by chance, after a long walk.
We were pleasantly surprised by the location, the service, the food, and the kindness of all the waitresses.
We'll definitely be back.

16/01/2026: Lovely family run hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. A little out of town but shuttle bus available free of charge. That however is made up for by the stunning views (phoyos of mountains from it room).
The food was very good and restaurant manager Giovanni was delightful and very funny. Giuseppe in the bar, the same.
Great sauna and pool area.
Old school European hospitality - Bravo.

08/01/2026: The steak was just some random piece of meat. Tough and lukewarm, just like the pizza. All the plates were ice cold. The scampi appetizer, however, was fantastic. Prices were too high. The service was friendly, but that didn't make up for it. I ate better everywhere else in Riva. Stayed 10 days.

08/01/2026: A quick lunch on the terrace on a wonderful sunny day with a breathtaking view of many Dolomite peaks!
We ordered polenta with sausage and cheese, truly delicious!
The service was quick and courteous despite the crowds due to the skiers.
The prices aren't cheap, of course, but I think they're appropriate for the location. In these cases, you're not just paying for the dish, but also for the location, which is truly incredible!
Five years ago, we stopped by for a delicious afternoon snack, and Baita Checco is still the best! Well done!

06/10/2025: We only stopped for a short break during the Sasso Lungo/Sasso Piatto loop. The view is truly fantastic. It's worth stopping just to enjoy the view. Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed with the pretzel I ordered. It was probably frozen and they microwaved it for too long or at the wrong power. The fact is, it was burned inside in some places and toasted in others.
