04/05/2025: Disappointing experience at Rifugio Serot – not recommended for families We went up full of enthusiasm, with our one and a half year old child, but the welcome at the Serot Refuge was cold, if not non-existent. Not even a good morning: as soon as we arrived we were immediately advised not to let the child play near the tools, in a tone closer to reproach than courtesy. We ask if it is possible to let the little one eat outside, at the tables, with a plate of spätzle. They tell us that they cannot serve outside. When asked for a simple fork we are told, curtly: “Take it”. No sense of hospitality, no care towards those traveling with children. The long-awaited spätzle arrive in two minutes flat: evidently preheated. No attention to quality, no empathy, no desire to make customers feel welcome. A refuge should welcome, not reject. And this, unfortunately, is a place to avoid – especially if you have children with you.

03/05/2025: Excellent experience, our students (we have a gym where combat sports are practiced) gave us a weekend in this corner of paradise because they know that we love the tranquility of the mountains. The place is run by young, very kind and caring people. A huge compliment for everything and a special praise to the chef, we ate DIVINELY. Really good.

Il posto è magico ed è tutto personalizzato homemade, dalle foto affisse alle pareti per finire alle coccole che ti presenta nel piatto!

03/05/2025: We had dinner at this lovely restaurant with my husband and tried their special May Menu. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was exceptionally polite. Prices were pleasantly reasonable. The restaurant itself is small and feels like it’s nestled right in the middle of the forest. The interior is tastefully designed with great attention to detail, especially to quality—and the breathtaking panoramic mountain view is simply unforgettable. The atmosphere was warm and romantic, making it a truly special evening. We’ll definitely be coming back in other seasons. Just be sure to book in advance!

30/04/2025: We stayed for two nights, also booking two dinners and we were very happy with our choice. Well-kept rooms where you can breathe in the scent of wood and where nature greets you in the morning with an enchanting view of the lake. Breakfast with fresh yogurt, slice of cake and homemade muffins, toast, jam, egg and truly unique herbal teas. We really appreciated the vegetarian dinners with the offer of dishes with refined combinations, the environment with few seats, the fireplace and Paolo's service which was always kind and welcoming. A regenerating place that we highly recommend to anyone who wants to unplug. We will definitely be back! Greetings to Alice and Paolo, keep going, you are unique!

15/04/2025: We were passing through and spontaneously stayed at the Hotel Alt Spaur - and it was an absolutely positive surprise! The rooms are modern, clean and furnished with great attention to detail. You immediately feel comfortable. We would particularly like to highlight the food: both the dinner and the breakfast were excellent – ​​fresh, regional and simply great in terms of taste! The staff were consistently friendly, courteous and very helpful - you immediately notice that hospitality is practiced here. For anyone who is passing through or is looking for a charming hotel with a feel-good factor, the Hotel Alt Spaur is highly recommended. We'll definitely be back.

The service is efficient and friendly, with attentive staff available to satisfy customer requests. Reservations are recommended, especially in the evening when it is usually very crowded. Korallo is a recommended stop for those looking for a superior pizza, in a welcoming and well-managed context. A choice that rarely disappoints

13/03/2025: Restaurant highly recommended by the Olympic hotel where we were staying. Lovely location with breathtaking views, but the disappointment with the food was huge. As a rule, I ask for the typical dish of the area. melted cheese with polenta, sausage and mushrooms. Probably being Monday I ended up on the NO cooking day, but it was truly inedible. The mushrooms that aren't even in discount stores, the hard sausage and the cheese with indefinable polenta. Too bad, the only place in Val di Fassa where we ate badly. Will he have a new chance? We will see!
