17/05/2025: We stumbled upon the Leitenschenke panoramic restaurant quite by chance while looking for something warm to eat – which isn't easy in the afternoon in South Tyrol. The approach through the narrow streets and steep slopes is a bit challenging, but it's worth it – or you can combine the visit with a hike along the beautiful Waalweg (Waal path). The restaurant is beautifully situated with breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. The food was a real treat; the menu, while simple, offered something for every taste. We were absolutely impressed by the value for money, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. A real insider tip – we'd love to come back!

24/04/2025: Like most people, we probably came here because of the very good Google rating - this hidden inn is hard to find by chance ^^ So thank you Google Maps and to all users, it was a great recommendation! Very friendly people and very tasty, traditional South Tyrolean food made from mostly regional products (the ice cream for dessert is produced by a nearby farm) make you want to come back!

19/05/2025: Stumbled on this restaurant as one of the few places open in the village on a Sunday. Great welcome and service, a lovely outside area and delicious food. We had the tagliatelle con salsa di noci (creamy walnut sauce) which was very tasty, and the traditional goulash.

06/04/2025: Seit 3 Jahren sind wir im Winter regelmäßig Gäste dieser wunderschönen Hütte. Das Essen ist hervorragend, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Auch diverse Extrawünsche werden umgehend erfüllt. Vielen Dank euch, wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch.

19/05/2025: Tucked away behind the Hirzer cable car exit is perhaps the most beautiful beer and coffee garden in the entire region. Live music, dogs are welcome, and everything is catered for, whether you prefer shade or sun. The cake selection is extensive, as is the selection of beers and homemade products, such as cider. We always stop here before or after a walk along the Waalweg (Waal Path) and are always very satisfied. The local ice cream is also a must!

18/05/2025: Beautiful setting with tasty dishes. Good service, very attentive by the young owner. The only flaw is the choice of desserts, I expected something more special. In any case, I would gladly return. I highly recommend it.
