Mountain hut/yard with a farm where you can see cows, sheep, rabbits and mountain dogs up close. The service was very nice, the beer and lemonades were delicious, especially on a hot day. The portions were large and the views of the surroundings were magical. It was a must stop both on the way to the top and back.

A beautiful mountain hut with a stunning view! The staff is incredibly kind and the food is truly excellent. I had the dumplings in broth and a poppy seed cake. The place is beautiful, the people are beautiful, the food is excellent... Practically a dream place!

We stayed here for one night in early June. We shared a 12-bed room with single beds—everything was clean, comfortable, and quite cozy for a mountain hut. Our biggest discovery was the cuisine. We're from Ukraine and aren't usually fans of Tyrolean dumplings, but the spinach dumplings with garlic sauce here were simply incredible. Without exaggeration, one of the most delicious meals of our entire Dolomites trip. We booked half board, and dinner included a salad, dumplings, a main course, and dessert. Everything was delicious. A special thank you to the hostess for the warm welcome. She also helped us with parking. Before the trip, we were worried about the high cost of parking downstairs, but once we got there, it turned out that parking for hut guests was only 10 euros per night, and there were no additional charges. A very pleasant atmosphere, cute dogs, and a sense of true mountain hospitality. We paid about 170 euros for two for a night, half-board, and three beers, and we were completely satisfied. We'd happily return.

A stunning location, excellent specialties (e.g., barley soup with smoked meat, sweet rolls...), and exceptionally friendly and attentive service ensure you won't want to leave. The alpine hut is charmingly furnished, and the value for money is outstanding. A must-visit on any trip to the Villnöss Valley.

The Gampenalm was by far the best accommodation on our hut-to-hut tour. Warm and welcoming hosts, fantastic food, a cozy room, and a beautiful location/view. We'd love to come back – if only for the Buchteln!

I always love coming back to the Gampenalm, partly because it's my home – but mainly because they simply have the best dumplings. I can especially recommend the dumpling trio: These are dumplings just the way you could wish for them – truly hearty, wonderfully homemade, and prepared with lots of love. On top of that, the service is friendly and welcoming. You immediately feel welcome and well taken care of.

A beautiful mountain hut in typical Tyrolean style, away from the hustle and bustle, where you can truly appreciate the mountains. A great place to stop, admire the view, and eat deliciously. The egg, speck, and potato dishes and the Kaiserschmarnn were spectacular. All the staff were incredibly friendly, especially Franziska, who was always smiling, kind, and witty. We thoroughly enjoyed our time! The host family is incredibly welcoming, the food is fantastic, the room was very comfortable and clean, and the location is perfect for all kinds of hikes. We'd love to come back again :)
