I can only review the restaurant itself, and it's truly excellent. They have a small menu, but usually also offer several daily specials. The food is delicious and the presentation isn't overly elaborate. The meat dishes are also very good. While the prices are on the higher end, they still offer good value for money. The service is friendly and attentive. They have a wide selection of wines by the glass and an extensive bottle list. The only thing that could be improved is the children's menu; it's just the usual pasta with sauce. The shaded terrace in front of the restaurant is also lovely. Parking isn't a problem.

While searching for a highly rated lunch spot in the €30–40 per person range, we came across this restaurant through Google Gemini—and what a fantastic find it was. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. I ordered the Spaghetti Mancini, while my boyfriend chose the lamb tortellini. Both dishes were exceptional: perfectly cooked al dente, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. You could immediately tell that great care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. For dessert, my boyfriend opted for the refreshing lemon sorbet. I decided to trust our waitress’s recommendation and ordered the vanilla ice cream with pumpkin seeds and pumpkin oil. It was an unforgettable combination—creative, perfectly balanced, and easily one of the most unique and delicious desserts I’ve ever had. Combined with the attentive and friendly service, this was a truly memorable dining experience. This restaurant is a hidden gem and one of the highlights of our trip. We would happily make a detour to dine here again and will certainly return the next time we’re in the Bolzano area.

A truly lovely hotel. We only stayed one night as we were passing through, but the service was excellent and incredibly friendly. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The sauna and pool area were also really nice. Overall, we were very happy with our decision. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful stay here. Everything was beautiful, the facilities were excellent, and the restaurant looked lovely and very inviting. We did not have dinner there because it was our first night in Bolzano and we wanted to go out and explore the city, but the overall atmosphere was fantastic and the service was outstanding from the very beginning. What I especially want to thank the team for is a truly lovely gesture the next morning at breakfast. They noticed it was my wife’s birthday and surprised her with a tiramisu and a candle. It was such a thoughtful and elegant detail, and we really appreciated it. That kind of kindness makes a stay memorable. Thank you very much for making that moment so special.

We've been coming to the Eggentaler Hof for lunch for years now. But what the kitchen served us this time exceeded all our expectations – fish cuisine at its best. The gratinated scallops were fantastic, the octopus salad perfectly balanced, and the sea bream as a main course simply superb. Absolutely wonderful.
