08/09/2025: I thought all the mountain huts in the area would offer superior food, but I was wrong. I was quite disappointed given the high expectations raised by the reviews. Let's start with the positive: the price. €30 per person for a first course, two beers, a dessert, and an appetizer. The big problem, and I'm very sorry to have to say this since they're all young and enthusiastic, is that the food tasted like nothing. It all tasted the same. It's hard to describe what I experienced, and perhaps I'm exaggerating it more than I should, but I was very disappointed. The dessert was also rather low quality; I had a strudel and my girlfriend had an ice cream with caramel and granola, and neither was even close to passing. I'm absolutely willing to change my mind if the opportunity arises, but until then, I definitely can't speak highly of this mountain hut. What a shame.

29/08/2025: A superb alpine hut, with a fantastic view, cozy, and great attention to detail. The food was also delicious, the service friendly, and the prices fair – highly recommended!

04/10/2025: Great food and superb service. The pasta was truly amazing, and we felt so comfortable that we came back again. The dessert was incredible!

15/09/2025: We were there yesterday. There's construction going on. Unfortunately, you won't know what's closed until you go. But I think it'll be great there in the future. More chalets are being built.

04/07/2025: Unfortunately, the Zuegghütte is no longer there!!! 😭 It had to make way for a new restaurant (then called the Zuegghütte again) and three chalets! 😡 For years, it was our obligatory stop on our way down to the valley. The food, staff, and atmosphere were absolutely top-notch! What a shame!!!

20/09/2025: An excellent setting for combining the Latemar mountain range with South Tyrolean cuisine. Not to be missed.

18/09/2025: A panoramic oasis of peace and tranquility overlooking the valley and the South Tyrolean Alps. A casual atmosphere with very kind and friendly staff. Enjoy authentic Alpine specialties in the shade or sun. All products are homemade, and the taste is proof of that. You can arrive by car, bicycle, or motorbike.

30/09/2025: Absolutely amazing. Like, I was not prepared for what a gem this place was. Loved all the sauna options and the hours for them were great. The room was immaculately clean. Breakfast was delicious and had everything one could want. And there was so much staff around all the time, cleaning, prepping, greeting. I have never experienced that. I wish I had more time to stay here, but will hopefully be back for nordic ski season!

18/09/2025: We spent 12 days in Tramin on the Wine Route, spending our first evening at the Weis-Keller because we liked the pictures on Google Maps. After the first visit, we made three more visits with excellent food, a great atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Is it worth recommending? We'd say a visit is a must if you're in the area. However, reservations are mandatory, as space is limited. Thanks for the great food and the lovely evenings...

19/09/2025: I've been to Maso Paratoni with my partner for the second time. A magical place with a unique atmosphere. Family-run and locally sourced. The farm is run by a family: mom in the kitchen, dad as the maître d', and their sons as waiters (special mention to Arona, brilliant!). The atmosphere is welcoming and the food is spectacular. The grey cheese and the leek dumplings are wonderful, and my boyfriend especially enjoyed the mousse and the sweet and savory fritters. If you want to experience authentic cuisine and be pampered, this is the place! (Set menu and very extensive local wine list). Highly recommended!

15/06/2025: We were looking for a place to go and eat a good cut of meat. We booked for Saturday night at 8 (I recommend booking). I would say that the place lived up to expectations and in some ways exceeded them. Excellent welcome, the owner is friendly and nice. Excellent food. Almost everything homemade. We had an appetizer of cold cuts and cheeses that we split in two, excellent products. Special mention for the pickles obviously homemade. Then we had a second course, I had an excellent picaña with an excellent homemade cimichurri sauce (you must like garlic). My wife instead had the Angus tagliata equally excellent and perfectly cooked medium. Also homemade desserts. Cheesecake and Crema Catalana. On the other hand, an excellent experience, we ate out when the evening allowed. We will certainly return, maybe at midday to try the first courses. At the time the owner explained to me that the selection of aging meat is limited in the summer period, but this is also something that we will try again later. Obviously recommended.

01/06/2025: We visited Al Lupo with five people (two adults and three children) and were absolutely thrilled! Even though we arrived just before the lunch break, we received a warm welcome and very friendly service – the service was attentive, spoke good English, and was also child-friendly. The main courses were excellent – ​​freshly prepared, authentic, and delicious. For dessert, we had tiramisu and semifreddo al limone – both were dreamy and the perfect end to the meal. A fantastic Italian restaurant with genuine hospitality and excellent cuisine. Al Lupo – we'd love to come back!

02/10/2025: Unbelievable, totally worth the drive. Clearly the chef has been trained in places around the world. Food, presentation, tastes, flavors, all fantastic. Prices were VERY reasonable given what you are served. Near Michelin quality for “restaurant in your neighborhood” prices. Blown away!

18/08/2025: We've visited Restaurant Pirbamer several times and can only recommend it. Very creative and high-quality cuisine, reasonable portions, and a wide wine selection. The restaurant has been recently renovated and has a very pleasant ambiance. Thanks to Werner and Hannes!
