27/09/2025: I can only rate the bistro service. The pinsa was good, but the tiramisu wasn't my cup of tea. The service was good, although they forgot to bring my main course (we'd asked for a pinsa to share), followed by a risotto, salmon tagliatelle, and a Caesar salad for me (which never arrived). The clerk kindly replied that there had been a misunderstanding. It can happen. I'll try to return anyway.

21/08/2025: The staff at Gastof Kohlern made us feel like we were the only guests on site. They were a attentive, kind, and truly built a relationship from the moment we checked in. The views from the property are unmatched. You can see the entire Bolzano city and valleys beyond. Looking at the mountainside with vineyards and villages from our balcony was like looking at a painting! Incredibly peaceful after a day of hiking. You will not get this view from Ortisei or Brixen, I can guarantee that! From the coursed dinners, to the thoughtful interiors, to the relaxing treatment from Nadine, this hotel checked all the boxes. The owners of this hotel are present and put so much care to your experience. They went above and beyond. Thank you Natalie, Josef and our new friends in the Dolomites!

19/08/2025: We discovered this inn through "My Local, Your Local." Since we're currently on vacation in South Tyrol, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to visit. The food was delicious and the service very attentive and friendly. We would give it 10 out of 10 stars ⭐️.

08/08/2025: The rooms are very nice, the view is great and the food delicious. Overall, however, everything is uncoordinated and you can really feel this as a guest. The dinner selection didn't work out - we were asked three times. We had requested a birthday table, but despite two reminders, this still didn't happen. Drinks were served very slowly and when a drink was empty, no one asked about it. The afternoon buffet only had small cakes which were empty after 30 minutes and were only refilled after we reminded them. The website advertises a wine experience, but the service was incompetent despite repeated inquiries. Toilet paper was not refilled and there was no service at the pool.

15/09/2025: Great food, all fresh, from a small but fine menu, with individual wine recommendations. Of course, they don't serve pizza or schnitzel. We've been there for the second year now and have tried almost the entire menu each time. Simply superb. Plus the friendly service—what more could you want? We can't say anything about the rooms—we stayed elsewhere.

21/08/2025: Only the restaurant can be reviewed; we didn't stay there overnight. Very fine food, not overly overpriced, a small but good menu, friendly service, and a great location. Excellent value for money. We'd gladly return.

Piade farcite con amore da oltre 10 anni, dalle più Classiche alle più particolari (le Ignoranti, le Delicate, ...) una varia scelta di prodotti locali selezionati con cura. La mia preferita: carne salada, trentingrana e rucola con la possibilità di scegliere diversi tipi di impasto, integrale, farro e canapa. Ce n'é per tutti i gusti e i prezzi sono ottimi. Tappa obbligata quando passo da Rovereto e ogni volta finisce con una piada dolce alle nocciole. Bravi!! A presto

17/06/2025: Welcoming place and expert, attentive and passionate staff. Piadas stuffed with love for over 10 years, from the Classics to the most particular (the Ignoranti, the Delicate, ...) a varied choice of carefully selected local products. My favorite: carne salada, trentingrana and rocket with the possibility of choosing different types of dough, wholemeal, spelt and hemp. There is something for all tastes and the prices are excellent. A must when I pass through Rovereto and every time I end with a sweet piada with hazelnuts. Well done!! See you soon

19/09/2025: We stopped at this restaurant by chance for dinner and were really pleased. The food was excellent, from the starters and pizza to the desserts. The menu offers many options, including various typical South Tyrolean dishes and pizza (also available gluten-free). The prices are average, and the woman who served us was really nice and always available. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back! Highly recommended.

16/06/2025: Hier sind wir während unseres einwöchigen Schenna-Aufenthaltes gleich zweimal eingekehrt. Man sitzt drinnen und draußen im Gartenbereich sehr gut. Wunderbares Essen. Zum Reinlegen die Hühnerbrust in Schüttelbrotpanade und ebenso die mit diversem Gemüse. Sehr lecker auch die Nudelgerichte. Alles bei gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Aufmerksamer Service, netter Inhaber. Beim nächsten Schenna-Aufenthalt für uns ein festes Ziel!

04/10/2025: Breakfast is simple but excellent, and the staff is very friendly. 3-6 desserts are complimentary (the chocolate desserts are so delicious ㅠㅠ). However, it's a bit far from downtown. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the bus stop, and it's an uphill walk from downtown to the accommodation.

24/09/2025: We absolutely loved Hotel Hartmann! We stayed for only one night after spending four days hiking hut-to-hut in the mountains, and it was such a treat. We were able to leave our suitcases for a few days while we hiked, and they were waiting in our room when we arrived. The hotel is way more luxurious than we expected, with a super fluffy bed, above and beyond service, fantastic breakfast, and a peaceful wellness space with saunas and a steam room. The self-service beverages and snacks are a great touch as well. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time here and couldn’t enjoy our massive balcony as it was raining. The location is beautiful and you can enter the walking path from the backyard, but it’s worth noting that most restaurants are a 10-15 minute walk (there is no meal service beyond breakfast); not too far, but something to keep in mind after a long hike! Also, while shampoo is provided, conditioner is not, but that seems common in the region. A huge thanks to Hotel Hartmann and the wonderful staff for a stay we won’t forget!

The cuisine is well-prepared, clean, and of good quality, and the price is fair and reasonable. I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape from the daily grind.
