05/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Wonderful lunch at Bad Turmbach! We had lunch at Bad Turmbach and were completely delighted. Very friendly, attentive service and top-quality cuisine. The steak tartare and venison ragout tagliatelle were excellent, followed by the Turmbach trout and, for my wife, the braised beef cheek – both perfectly prepared and delicious. A wonderful place to enjoy – we'll definitely be back!

27/09/2025: We had dinner at the Bad Turmbach restaurant twice, and what can I say... it was fantastic! Excellent service – wine list and advice = first-rate! The dishes were freshly prepared and delicious! And for dessert, the Zirmer cake – I'm lost for words: Outstanding!!!!! We'll be back on our next trip to South Tyrol!!! Great, great, great!!!

03/03/2026: As a long-time regular at the old, always-busy Zuegg Hut, I visited the newly built, very elegant, modern, and chic Zuegg Hut for the first time today. New always means different, but by no means the same as the old, and certainly not necessarily better. But that's a matter of personal taste and varies from person to person. Not only is the building new, but the cuisine is also supposed to be new and innovative. All the dishes we ordered were very tasty and of high quality. The staff was young and tried their best to be friendly. However, any deviation from the new concept, even a small special request, was neither desired nor possible. Although the classics of Alpine cuisine were still on the menu, the quintessential classic, Kaiserschmarrn, was only available to order from 2:30 pm onwards. When I asked the kitchen if it might be possible to order it earlier, around noon – something I've experienced without any problems at other Alpine restaurants in many ski resorts – the answer was inconsistent with the concept and was refused. Other reviewers have also complained about this. However, since the restaurant was sparsely populated (!), the Kaiserschmarrn was suddenly available to order at 1:30 pm after we had finished our meal, something that had been impossible at 12:30 pm. I wish the new owner all the best; the time-honored adage of the restaurant industry, "The customer is king," shouldn't be forgotten, even with the most modern and innovative concept. First impressions count, and fulfilling this small request would have made the experience perfect and guaranteed a return visit, but thankfully there are plenty of alternatives.

01/03/2026: A short distance from the car park on the hiking trails and the ski slope near Merano, in an ideal location, welcoming place, good local cuisine, even good live music!

27/02/2026: We were passing through on our way to a ski tour and stayed overnight at the Gasthof Falkenstein – and we would come back anytime! We received a wonderfully warm and relaxed welcome upon arrival. Even though we were running late, they readily prepared a packed lunch for our ski tour the next morning at 10 pm – that's truly exceptional and demonstrates the hospitality here. The inn is beautifully situated above Naturns, with a fantastic view over the village at night and the valley below. The panoramic location is a real highlight. The sun terrace and the conservatory with its mountain views must be a dream during the day. You can tell it's a family-run establishment: the staff are very friendly, attentive, and pleasantly relaxed. Add to that the traditional South Tyrolean cuisine with regional specialties – just what you need after a long day. The value for money is definitely excellent! Good transport links, lovely rooms, delicious food, and genuine hospitality – we can absolutely recommend the Gasthof Falkenstein.

16/02/2026: Terrible service. This waitress's arrogant manner was simply appalling 🤮🤮. The first time we asked, they simply forgot to assign us a table, and after 20 minutes we were finally allowed to sit down, even though half the restaurant was empty. She asked one of my business partners if he needed something to play with or why he was handling the pepper shaker. When my other business partner asked if he could have a scoop of stracciatella ice cream, she replied, "No, no... Forget about that scoop of ice cream." I think this waitress should be fired. It's simply outrageous! I request a statement!

27/01/2026: Excellent hotel, we stayed two nights and everything was perfect. Beautiful room, lovely wellness area, excellent breakfast and super-superb dinner. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There's a bike path in front of the hotel, a bus stop 30 meters away, and ample parking. Kudos to the management and all the staff.

17/01/2026: Wonderful experience. Friendly and welcoming staff, always available. We stayed in the Pink Room, brand new and spacious. The bathroom was top-notch. Full breakfast, excellent dinner. The wellness area was average, with everything you need. Kudos to the care you can feel everywhere.

07/03/2026: It feels like eating in the clouds. The food isn't bad, but I can't say it's the focal point of the place. The view! That, yes. Unparalleled!! Service is average, but whatever happens, the place is always super crowded.

07/01/2026: Always TOP ski holidays! For a few years now, we've been spending ski holidays or quick 2-3 days at this magnificent hotel, in true "slipper" style, relaxing to the max. New rooms with a modern and linear design, incredibly beautiful, spotlessly clean, as are ALL the hotel's areas. The atmosphere is elegant and familiar, with fresh flowers every day, tended by the owner, making every space even more welcoming. Excellent food, whether for breakfast, snacks, or dinner. TOP! 01/01/2026: Beautiful, traditional hotel, recently renovated (some rooms are modern, others traditional, but all spacious) with a large spa, next to the Belvedere/Ciampac ski lift. Impeccably clean. The food and service are excellent, and the gourmet restaurant is top-notch—a real effort considering it's been family-run for generations. Definitely worth a try!
