Restaurant Pizzeria Winkler In Falzes

Food was very good: apple strudel, lemon ice cream, pizza was excellent. Two points of criticism: 1. There were a lot of flies, which were annoying. 2. The knives were very dull; you couldn't cut the pizza, you had to tear it apart. A tip: Bring a steak knife. Would gladly come again!

I had a Tyrolean pizza, which wasn't bad; the filo cone with shrimp, on the other hand, was tasteless. Unfortunately, the place was full of flies...

A mix of 5 stars and 0 stars. Pizza maker friendly, pizza TOP! Younger waiter super nice. Ordered takeout 5 times so far and still always left a generous tip. Older waiter… I have never been treated so badly by anyone. Harsh tone, always turned his back on me, ignored me, didn't answer, left me standing there for 30 minutes AFTER the pickup time he stated. I worked as a waiter myself for many years, and my superiors would have fired an employee like that immediately. Pasta completely stuck together.

Exceptional pizzas - but pricing transparency could be improved! Pizzeria Winkler has been under new management for over a year. We've been there several times and were particularly impressed with the quality of the pizzas. The pizza chef previously worked for several years at another restaurant in the Brunico area, where he already made well-topped pizzas (right to the edge) and cooked to perfection, with a thin, crispy crust. The restaurant's style (rustic 1970s oak), criticized by some reviewers, and the slightly dated decor may not be to everyone's taste... however, the tables are clean and set with white tablecloths, and the staff is adequately (though not overly) attentive. The portions are reasonable, and the prices are average by local standards. The only, but for me, serious, flaw (which could easily be fixed) is the lack of transparency regarding drink prices: the menu doesn't list drinks at all. If you ask for a drinks list, they initially say there isn't one... If you insist, they eventually provide one—a single-page sheet—but even that only lists non-alcoholic drinks. For this reason—and because the situation hasn't changed in a year—I'm giving it only 3 stars. It seems that, despite guests' complaints, the manager deliberately wants to keep customers in the dark about drink prices! A shame, because the selection of drinks and the prices we paid are in line with local fare. Conclusion: Excellent pizzas, almost original '70s style, but a serious lack of transparency regarding drink prices.

Excellent pizza, terrace with a beautiful view and excellent service, with very kind staff

The pizza and pasta were great! The service was very friendly and attentive. The ambiance is pleasant, though a bit dated. It's a great place to eat in or grab something to go. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. We'll definitely be back.

Excellent, and I recommend it if it's nearby. The pizza and spaghetti are excellent and delicious, and they have many varieties.

We were looking for a place near the apartment we'd rented, and Google suggested this restaurant. We had a great time; the pizzas were good and the service excellent. From the outside, it seemed deserted, but once we entered, we found several people already dining. The interior is beautiful, making it suitable for couples, families, or groups of friends. I recommend a stroll to try the dishes available on the menu, in addition to the many pizzas.

The pizza was really good, and the service was equally good. Good prices. We've been back many times and always had a great experience and great food.
