The location is very quiet and ideal for a relaxing holiday. Excellent home-produced olive oil with a variety of aromas and at a fair price.

The Sotto i Porti restaurant in Pescia is a true gem for those who love authentic, carefully prepared cuisine deeply rooted in the local area. The dishes made with Slow Food Presidium ingredients are an extraordinary journey through the true flavors of Tuscany: carefully selected raw materials, prepared with respect, and enhanced in every detail. Each course tells a story, and they all share a truly rare quality. Much credit goes to the owner, who is knowledgeable, passionate, and always ready to guide you with kindness in choosing dishes and wines. Her knowledge of the local area and Slow Food products can be felt, seen, and above all... tasted! A welcoming atmosphere, unforgettable cuisine, and an atmosphere that makes you want to return immediately. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity, flavor, and a professionalism that makes the difference.

27/11/2025: Very well-kept restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is good, including well-executed traditional dishes. Overall, a decent dinner, but not enough to make me want to return, perhaps due to a misunderstanding regarding the wine I ordered.

09/11/2025: Nice place, good service, and very good food. A few issues with the dinner lowered my rating: halfway through the meal, I was told they were out of mussels. My €15 mussel platter had a lot of empty shells and about eight mussels. When I pointed this out, I was told, "That seems strange." No apology, no discount, nothing. They described the dessert of the day as off-menu, so we ordered it, and then they told us right afterward that it was gone from lunch (a clear sign of poor communication between the kitchen and the dining room). I liked the place, and if they had handled it differently, I would have returned, but I fear that won't be the case. A bit high in value for money, but average.

17/10/2025: We came for a dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday. Excellent food. The Pertini parking lot at the Cathedral is convenient, just a few steps from the restaurant. The only downside is the slowness in bringing chilled wines. If you choose a wine to be served chilled, I think they put it in the blast chiller first and then bring it. That was the only downside, a shame. The desserts are amazing.

13/10/2025: Excellent restaurant with somewhat slow service. Fish is not the only thing. Good shrimp salad with fruit, excellent fried food too. For 6 people + one child, €340.00, which is fair considering both fish and wine.

19/11/2025: Very good pizza, eaten authentically (with a high crust, Neapolitan style). Limited beer selection, but that's acceptable for a pizzeria.

10/12/2025: Last night, we had a get-together with friends at this well-known pizzeria in the area. It's an intimate, clean place with friendly staff who make you feel at home. We opted for the €22 menu, which included a selection of local cold cuts, fried food, olives, and chips, and pizza—lots of pizza with every flavor, crispy and incredibly light—and then we drank a glass of beer. All served by the very kind owner, who encouraged us to finish everything after every course. I highly recommend this place, excellent value for money. The free parking nearby is also not to be underestimated. An experience we'll repeat.

Diolaiuti didn't come because he was busy saving for vegan gatherings, an activity he always judges with careful impartiality, dictated by his love for militant veganism.

03/11/2025: Sunday dinner at this restaurant. Everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the crosto e pane with pecorino fondue and Colonnata lard. The pizza and burgers were also good. Very friendly staff.
