The constantly renewed menu based on raw materials of absolute quality and refinement with revisited traditional Tuscan dishes proposed and elaborated by a promising young chef satisfies the most demanding palates. Wine list worthy of the dishes offered. Absolutely excellent value for money. Also worth trying in summer with the possibility of eating outdoors.

27/02/2025: The Osteria Taverna Aurora, located in the central square of Vicopisano, is a quality restaurant that focuses on the seasonality of raw materials and authentically Tuscan cuisine. The menu offers traditional dishes, from farmyard fried food to steak and sliced ​​meat, with some fish options such as cod and cuttlefish. There is no shortage of more refined alternatives such as tartare and an excellent mixed platter. The quality of the dishes is high, with genuine and well-balanced flavours. The selection of wines is wide and well curated, suitable to accompany every course. The service is good: the staff are friendly, attentive and helpful, helping to make the experience pleasant and relaxing. 15/02/2025: RECOMMENDED FOR THE QUALITY OF FOOD AND LOCATION, NOT FOR THE COST Very nice and classy place, very friendly and polite staff. The owner very kind. Excellent food quality, I think the best or almost the best in the province of Pisa. The only flaw is the price, because it is high for what we ate: - Tuscan appetizer with ham and 3 different crostini each. - 1 1.3kg steak for 2 - 3 bottles of water (filled by them each time) - 1 piece of tart for 1 person only TOTAL. 110 euros

25/02/2025: In the heart of the country! This pizzeria offers a quiet and welcoming environment, perfect for an evening with friends or a moment of relaxation. The pizza is really excellent: thin, well cooked and prepared with quality ingredients. The owner, as well as all the staff, are courteous and always available, making every customer feel welcome. A simple but authentic place, where good food and kindness make the difference. Highly recommended!"

09/02/2025: I had a good time, the pizza was very good although I prefer Neapolitan, the calzone was good and very seasoned, the dessert was excellent, I liked it, that the owner asked me how I was, for me this means taking care of the customer, I will definitely be back, with this you deserve 4 stars, thank you

04/03/2025: First time for this pizzeria, booking on the return journey from Florence for 7.30pm (opening time). The place was obviously empty at that time so very fast but still courteous service, while waiting for the pizzas ordered, a very welcome taste of hot focaccia. Wide choice of pizzas (classic and special) complemented by focaccias, salads and platters. The pizzas ordered were an excellent choice as was the dessert: apple pie with cream; a real spectacle for the palate. Average prices, a place to include in our list for when we are in the Pontedera area

12/01/2025: After 40 minutes of waiting for a table they sent us away... why? We hadn't booked... let's say it first right?? Never again from them! There are better and more welcoming ones!

11/01/2025: Excellent and elegant, it's a shame that you still have to order with paper and pen, but the food and service are excellent.
