As a true Maremma native, I know tortelli well, but here they are truly superior! Everything is top-notch, including Laura, who pampers you and makes you feel at home. We'll definitely be back.

12/01/2026: Today, I had lunch with some friends at this restaurant, which I've been frequenting for a long time. For a vegan, Essenza is a guarantee, featuring top-quality, organic ingredients. The dishes will satisfy even the most discerning vegan, and the menu offers a wide selection. From classic Maremma tortelli to beetroot tortelli with creamed turnip greens, which I thoroughly enjoyed, to refined and delicious main courses, and finally, a variety of desserts to enjoy. For non-vegans, I recommend trying it for yourself; you'll have an experience you'll want to repeat. The place is very charming and welcoming, and the staff is professional, kind, and attentive, ready to accommodate your every request.

I must say that the memory of how pleasant the experience at this trattoria was has remained indelible in all of us. The vegetable pot, the suckling pig, the garden, the model of a farm a few kilometers away that we then stopped by to buy... I hope to visit you again someday. Thank you for the pleasant memory.

28/09/2025: Sunday lunch at Claudia's...just like home! Everything is freshly made and of excellent quality. Try the cantuccini she makes, they're delicious. Also recommended for the hostess's friendliness.

21/09/2025: Spectacular food: we had pici with white ragù and rabbit with olives. The pici are homemade and you can taste it, and the rabbit simply melted in your mouth. Ms. Claudia manages EVERYTHING herself: kitchen, service, cash register, reservations... she has incredible energy. I understand that the service is slower than usual for these reasons, but in my opinion it's absolutely worth it. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates good, traditional food, a calm and welcoming atmosphere, and has that extra bit of patience to support someone who, in my opinion, puts all of herself into the work she loves. P.S. Lunch was accompanied by delightful bossa nova music (at a very moderate volume, of course), which I found perfect for the atmosphere.

29/12/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant. We weren't familiar with it, and it was the only one open in Santa Fiora. We couldn't have asked for better. The service was provided by a team of young, very kind and helpful people. The food was exquisite, with a special mention for the chestnut ravioli with porcini mushrooms. The tripe was truly delicious. The desserts were also surprisingly good. The hazelnut cream was truly excellent, and the ricotta with chestnut jam was incredibly delicious. The prices were truly competitive, and the quality/price ratio was hard to beat. Appetizers, first courses, and second courses all cost around €8-10. The only complaint is that the house appetizer could be slightly more generous. This restaurant is absolutely recommended, and we'll definitely return to try many other specialties on the menu. Kudos to the owners.

22/11/2025: I'd heard about this place, and it was definitely worth it. The location is welcoming and well-appointed. The dishes are well-prepared and delicious. The Cinta Senese, which they raise on their own, is the star. The wine selection is excellent. We'll definitely be returning.

27/09/2025: We arrived late at night, so unfortunately there wasn't much choice of pre-made dishes. The guy prepared pasta with clams and fried fish for us to take away. We also ordered baked cannoli and baked potatoes. We ordered everything to take away, and everything was carefully packaged. The spaghetti was very good, as were the baked cannoli. The mixed fried fish wasn't anything special, honestly, as were the potatoes. Perhaps it didn't help that we ate the food after an hour. The very kind and friendly guy made the wait go by in a fun way.

31/12/2025: We had dinner on the evening of December 25th. The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was quick. The pizza was thin and easy to digest. I had the pepperoni and eggplant pizza, while my husband had the white zucchini with ricotta salata and cherry tomatoes. Both were excellent. The desserts were delicious. I recommend them!

28/09/2025: 'I don't need your name, I can remember your face: Table 1, sette e mezzo': Funny and hardworking owner, a mix of pirate and rocker, friendly and attentive. You sit at the harbor pier, get wine between €20 and €600 (his brand of humor, the wine costs €20). They also serve beer, spaghetti vongole with bottarga for €18. We had a large salad for two (tomatoes, green salad, and mozzarella, €12). They also serve fish. It was a nice evening; we'll definitely go again.
