30/06/2025: Very expensive but the location is unique. I wanted to go for an aperitif along the stream but I was told that it was only possible if you then stopped for dinner. A few years ago it wasn't like that.
29/06/2025: What a world-class location! We were lucky; no reservations were needed, and the last table was ours. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Two adults and two children were uncomplicated. A cocktail at the river bar before dinner, followed by Tuscan delicacies in the absolutely charming dining room! We were thrilled!
Big compliments to the owner and the entire staff; what you do is top-notch!

24/05/2025: Very quaint little cafe where you can get coffee and a good sandwich for a great price. I went there almost every day when in Florence for my morning coffee. The service is always very kind as well ☺️
21/05/2025: Great local corner cafe for a quick coffee drink and light pastry. Had the iced coffee, caffe latte, and un cornetto. The iced coffee was the best iced coffee I have had in a while. The cornetto had a subtly sweet, lemon glaze on it which made it very tasty. Friendly staff and fast service. Limited pastry options, but excellent for a quick morning bite.

25/05/2025: High quality food cooked very well. If you want something simple and good this is the right place. Very good cutting board, very good wine and beers, light and tasty pizzas. The atmosphere recalls the name of the place, precisely behind the scenes. Downstairs there is a real cellar to see and also drink a glass of wine
The Americano very good.

03/06/2025: Nice place, pretty cool idea to let you create your own salads… if the ingredients were good. My friend and I chose a salad with feta, salmon and a few other vegetables and after less than an hour we had to run to the bathroom because we started to feel terrible in our stomachs; I must say that we didn’t eat anything else together except this salad, so we can say with certainty that something in the dish wasn’t fresh or wasn’t stored properly. An experience never to be repeated.

23/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati per caso per una cena al volo. Abbiamo preso 2 spaghetti (spaghetti cacio e pepe e spaghetti del Cantuccio), una patatina fritta media, una birra media e un’acqua. Porzioni abbonanti , cottura perfetta, personale gentile, speso €25,50.
Passando da Marradi ci torneremo senz’altro per provare la pizza.
26/05/2025: In occasione della ultramaratona il Passatore,alla quale partecipava mio figlio,in attesa del passaggio della corsa ci siamo fermati a Marradi e per cena ci siamo fermati in questa pizzeria. Abbiamo mangiato un ottima carbonara,ma veramente
buona,e un tagliere di formaggi.Ambiente pulito,locale accogliente,personale molto gentile.

18/06/2025: Positive: Beautiful seats with a view of the church, pleasant and friendly service, and good pasta dishes (we had pasta with wild boar – it was very good). Our tip: stick to pasta dishes and antipasti – the kitchen is great at that.
Negative: We ordered steak (medium rare) – but we got more than well done. The potatoes as a side dish weren't great either. No one on our three-week trip to Tuscany ever managed to mess up the steak – we were even upset on the drive home – so we're only giving it two stars.

02/06/2025: Truly wonderful family owned cafe serving great coffee and gorgeous pastries and cakes, baked on the premises daily. The bombe was exceptional. Plus, incredible value, two coffees and two cakes all for €5.20. Can get very busy, there's a reason for this, but well worth the queue!.
