17/10/2025: Top-notch service, the food was exceptional (Fiorentina per due), and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. I won't rate the wines, as that's the responsibility of the winemaker. All in all, a successful evening. Grazie per tutto!

30/07/2025: A really nice place to stop for lunch. The men in the kitchen make it a real party, sometimes even shouting at each other in a fun way. The truffle pasta was delicious. They were very nice to our children, who were watching the kitchen with interest.

26/10/2025: I gave it full stars because I find this place very nice. You can have lunch during the day. The dishes I ate were carefully prepared and well-prepared. In the afternoon, there's also an aperitif buffet! The staff is very kind and friendly! I always love coming back.

16/10/2025: A truly enjoyable evening: Monia was incredibly kind, the service was truly attentive and meticulous, and the aperitif buffet was plentiful and reasonably priced. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone for a carefree evening of good food in a casual setting.

05/11/2025: I'll start by saying that this review refers to a lunch during the Lucca Comics and Games, so there are all the mitigating factors involved. We ate pizza at an inside table. The place is nice and clean, and the pizza was good. That's why I'm giving it three stars, whereas the service would be zero. I won't dwell on the inattention and the timing (both of which were present) because I understand the nature of the day. However, if there's no silverware on the table and pizzas are brought that are already cut, but not very well, it's intolerable that when we asked for silverware for everyone, the waitress, in a huff, only brought a pair that we had to share, and handed them to us as if asking had been a bother. I'll start by saying that the silverware was taken from a full basket, so it's not due to a lack of clean dishes, but rather, in my opinion, a lack of desire to deliver things that will later have to be cleaned.

03/11/2025: More than a review, I'd describe it as a survival guide, and I'll start by saying that if you want to have a nice evening after a long, tiring day, it's best to go elsewhere before losing patience and other worries. It started badly because we were a small group of six when we arrived. Despite having made a reservation, we were told we still had to queue and wait to be seated, so what's the point of booking exactly? Perhaps they're trying to squeeze in more people than they can handle just to make a profit. After all, once someone has booked, where else can they go? They're forced to stay with you. The place was huge inside, so there was absolutely no need to make a few extra bucks at the expense of some unfortunate person. You could have paid the checkout anyway. We arrived an hour later than booked. The seats outside didn't even have heating (with the amount our group spent, I assure you, you can afford an electric patio heater), and some didn't even have light. We read the menu with our phone's flashlight. When we ordered, we were told that pizzas would take 40 minutes or more, so it would be better to order something from the kitchen. Well, guess what? The table next to us, who arrived several minutes later, also ordered pizzas, and they arrived before our dishes. At least I had ordered fries (frozen, as per the menu), which arrived after 30 minutes. A friend, again for appetizers, had chicken nuggets, which arrived 15 minutes after the fries (served without sauce, by the way). I'd be embarrassed to serve them; McDonald's Nuggets are better for the price. Another funny thing was that the waiters (obviously not their fault, poor things; in fact, they were kind and helpful) kept asking us as we passed by if we had ordered that dish, because obviously they're always adding tables outside the valley to figure out the numbers, poor things. An hour later than ordered, my pasta arrived, but it was still there, and it was the only pasta available. It didn't need all this attention, at least the sauce was good. After about 10 minutes, my friends' dishes began to arrive (obviously, they didn't arrive together, there's no such luxury here). By the time the last friend's dish arrived, the others had already finished. In short, as you can see from this review, there's a lot of care and attention given to the customer. So, decide carefully where to spend your money. I'm giving one star for the beautiful view of the church. A plus for the staff, who clearly have a good understanding of where they work. 01/08/2025: Beautiful and historic royal American bar with excellent dishes for a quick brunch or an aperitif with colleagues. I highly recommend it.

13/07/2025: A delightful restaurant in the center of Montecatini, housed in a charming and beautifully decorated Belle Époque building. The terrace offers shaded seating in the afternoon, away from the hustle and bustle of the town center. The food was delicious and tasty, and the service was excellent. We were there with a group of 12 people with intellectual disabilities and received a very friendly (and patient) welcome. When we asked to turn down the music (which was the only drawback at the time), this was immediately accommodated. We were served homemade pasta and perfectly cooked chicken (crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside). The pizzas were perfect! They also had a delicious house wine. In short, definitely go for a charming and culinary experience!

18/09/2025: Famous for their highly praised cecina, which is good, but expensive. You can find it for much less and well-made at other pizzerias in the Lucca area, not to mention Pisa and Livorno, where it's a staple. Good pizza at reasonable prices, in a casual but clean atmosphere.

07/09/2025: SUBLIME ICE CREAM! I had panettone and ginger and it was incredible. The ice cream is also PROPERLY stored in closed containers. If it's artisanal ice cream, exposure to light can ruin it.

05/09/2025: We've been here several times. All the flavors we tried were good. Very creamy and authentic Italian ice cream. The prices are reasonable, too.

22/11/2025: Quality establishment: elegant atmosphere, high-quality products. Remarkable pastries. The only problem they have is the service. Saturday morning: at the cash register and then when the cake was delivered, the two ladies were busy talking (not about work) with their colleagues. The customers wait... then calmly raise their heads and get busy.

21/08/2025: At least the night I went, I had a pizza that deserves a second look. The crusts were undercooked. The appetizers were good, although a bit limited in quantity. I'll be back for the first courses, which, honestly, I was more inspired by.

31/10/2025: Great authentic restaurant. Been coming with my colleagues for lunch while I am on a business trip in the area. Superb customer service, family atmosphere, food is great! Highly recommend this restaurant if you want to submerge yourself in true Tuscany spirit.
