02/10/2025: Kudos to all the staff: professional, friendly, and attentive! The cuisine is excellent and of the highest quality.

03/09/2025: I celebrated my daughter's birthday and we had a great time. The staff were friendly and professional, the venue was welcoming and elegant, the food excellent, and the owners very knowledgeable. Reasonable prices.

08/10/2025: My group visited here for lunch last week. Upon being seated we asked for a bottle of the house white (we all understand what a *house white* means). Our server promptly came over introducing and almost opening what he described as “a very nice bottle”. My friend stopped him and asked the cost, to which he said 124€ and proceeded to say “only 28€ each!” Foremost, there was not an extensive wine list, nor was there a bottle for 124€ listed at all. We asked for a *house white* which is obviously and very plainly the most basic bottle. This was a complete attempt to scam us. This was pushy and just overall slimy behaviour. Also, we came for fish, and again were told “no fish, get lobster!” As they wanted to upsell us on the lobster. I would not return here or recommend it. Overall the food was alright, this didn’t matter to us though, because nobody wants to get ripped off.

08/10/2025: Food was good… wasn’t impressed with the waiter.. we asked for house wine if they had it and he shows up with 128euro wine bottle… seriously?? Didn’t see that in the menu either.

15/09/2025: Excellent place for an aperitivo in the city center, near Via Libertà. We ordered pizza platters with a selection of cured meats and cheeses for four, and then a platter of cured meats and cheeses for one. The cocktails were good, and the platters were generous and filling. The pizza was good and tasty. We also decided to order dessert, but it wasn't entirely convincing. Nonetheless, we highly recommend this place and will return. We also liked the atmosphere and the service. UPDATE: Satisfied with the aperitivo last time, we decided to return with other friends a few weeks later. Unfortunately, this time we weren't happy. First, the slow service. Second, we ordered the aperitivo option with six simple platters and had specifically asked to bring one for each of us, not to share, because one of us didn't eat several items on the platter, and so we had to modify it by removing some and adding others. Instead, they decided to bring platters for two people to share, and obviously the person who shared it with the friend who couldn't eat certain foods wasn't able to try the charcuterie and cheeses on the original platter because they weren't included, which he would have liked to try. Furthermore, the platters arrived much, much later than the cocktails, and we had to wait even longer because the pizza bread that usually accompanies these platters hadn't been brought with them. The quality of the charcuterie this time was disappointing. Finally, it's worth considering that in addition to the cost of the aperitif, there's an additional €2 per person for the cover charge.

03/05/2025: Attratti dalla promozione apericena pizza 17 euro con antipasto e bibita, io e la mia compagna ci sediamo al tavolo. Ci viene detto che la promozione prevede 1 antipasto ed una pizza margherita con bibita e ci invitano a prenderne 2 per avere una pizza a testa. Morale della favola per 2 pizze margherita, 2 antipasti di salumi e 2 birre paghiamo un conto di 74 euro. Chiesta spiegazione alla proprietaria in maniera arrogante e stizzita ci viene detto che funziona così e che dobbiamo pagare il conto. Non viene accettato nessun contraddittorio. Presi in giro come i pochi turisti presenti al locale, abbiamo consumato prodotti di media-bassa qualità a costi elevatissimi. Sconsigliatissimo! Solo per turisti!!!

29/08/2025: Velvet Pizzeria Restaurant is located in Bolognetta. It's a spacious restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Service is fast, and the pizza is delicious; I recommend the salmon or velvet pizza. Reservations are recommended if you're a large group.

27/09/2025: If you're considering dining here, we recommend doing so elsewhere! The swordfish was the only positive thing about this dining experience, but if you can't even make spaghetti alio olio in Italy, I don't know what to do. The music is so blaring in your ears that we had to make earplugs out of napkins. The lousy "olive oil" is still sitting heavily in our stomachs! A complete disaster.

12/10/2025: A truly delightful restaurant, just outside the center of Palermo. 🍽️ We ate wonderfully: a delicious appetizer and a flavorful first course that won us over from the first bite. The restaurant is very spacious, with plenty of seating and a lively clientele... and despite the frenzy, the staff was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. A pleasant experience, simple yet with attention to detail 🤍

19/10/2025: I came back to Lorenzo’s with my friends for tiramisu as I really liked the place and the taste. But this time the service was very disappointing. We did not feel welcomed at all. We just wanted to buy a coffee and tiramisu over the counter, when one of the waiters insisted that we should find a table and wait there. And so we waited: 10 or 15 minutes for somebody to take our order and another 20 minutes to receive three coffees and tiramisu. The waiter and the people at the counter felt very passive aggressive towards us, probably because they were overwhelmed with too many orders, but that’s not a reason to behave so badly.

15/04/2025: At 11:30 p.m., we couldn't find a place open to have a drink, and the owners, some very friendly young guys, approached us on the street to tell us that they were opening their bar for us even though they had already closed... and there they treated us with a smile and a lot of professionalism. The products we consumed were very tasty and very reasonably priced, the place was very cozy and very clean. . But the detail they had says a lot about them and I will never forget it. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart!

22/09/2025: A great place to enjoy refined dishes. Because here we are more in a gourmet restaurant. I tasted their squid and I have never experienced such a flavor with perfect cooking. The tiramisu is surprising and sketchy!

21/09/2025: I know this place because I've done two events (baptisms) with balloons. It's a very beautiful place, the staff is super kind and friendly, and it was a pleasure working there.

14/09/2025: During my stay in Palermo, I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, recommended by a friend from Palermo. What can I say... excellent!!! Excellent fried food, pizza with top-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Impeccable service! The owner and waiters were very kind, friendly, and meticulous in serving the food (I'm allergic to dairy proteins). This restaurant will definitely be one of the reasons to return to Palermo. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

14/09/2025: A place that has lost the intimacy it once had. The price-quality ratio isn't excellent, and the staff is efficient and fast. Always check your bill before paying. Unfortunately, I have to reiterate this once again.

03/09/2025: Very central location, the bar is pleasant and the service is good, the food... at least what I tried... there were two very weak things, the potatoes with a ridiculous portion and the wings were totally dry (they seemed reheated) and with a taste, let's say, unpleasant. I also thought the price was high for the quality, although as I always say... anyone can have a bad day.

21/10/2025: Superb breakfast! The cassatas are superb, both versions 😋 The selection of pastries and cannoli is also excellent, seven veils for chocolate lovers! Very fair prices, even if you sit at a table. The marzipan is also good, the take-out box is adorable! The only downside is that walking there, due to the intersections, roadworks, and the area, isn't the best, but it's doable! Recommended!

20/09/2025: Pasticceria Cappello is fabulous! Besides having won awards for quality, they also have fair prices and everything is top-notch! I had some mini pastries (mini cannoli, melon jelly, and more) and a coffee and everything was sublime! Their delicacies are definitely worth trying! Locals also recommended them to me.
