10/06/2026: I stopped at this bar because I was craving almond gelato, which, alas, I couldn't find. I settled for a peanut and salted caramel gelato that was out of this world, I swear, delicious, coconut gelato, and two truly amazing lactose-free flavors: strawberries and berries.
It goes without saying that your gelato is sensational, and I'll take the liberty of leaving a piece of advice: don't get carried away by trends, do what you know how to do, and do it well, as always.
I'll be back ☺️

02/08/2026: The reception staff is kind but unwilling to find solutions based on customer preferences. For example, a lactose-free cappuccino can't be made because they don't have lactose-free milk because it's not widely used; a granita can't be ordered in a half portion because you have to order a large granita and you can't order a half portion. The food is good, but the service is unwilling to find a solution to customer needs.
PS. The head waiter yells at everything.

04/01/2026: We went to this restaurant because the people we were with had been there before and had reported a good experience. We had lunch with appetizers, first courses, and a second course. Everything was really good, with generous portions and a good value. The mushrooms were very fresh. The staff was friendly and always smiling. The location, in the historic center of Castelbuono, offers both indoor and outdoor dining with a panoramic view (especially in the summer). Recommended.

Unfortunately, there was a DJ playing so loud the entire evening that it wasn't even possible to converse at the table. The place was too small for such a loud volume.
If I ever get the chance to return, I'll definitely make sure I don't have the same deafening experience.

We stumbled upon it by accident, and I don't think we'll be back.
11/03/2026: You know that feeling when you walk into a place with chairs after climbing a mountain and all you want is to rest a bit?
Well, that's what happened to me when I opened the menu and it took me more than 10 minutes to choose from the many delicacies described.
The appetizers? Forget the classic ones you find everywhere.
The pizzas? In addition to the classic ones that are a must-have, there are the special ones, which obviously, if they have that name, must have a reason. Right?
Plus, for a small surcharge, you can really put the icing on the cake... er... burrata on your pizza.
All quality ingredients.
The service is excellent.

15/08/2026: A very nice atmosphere for a summer evening... if you stay outside! The air-conditioned interior, however, is hellish: a monstrous din due to poor acoustics, a sloping floor, uncomfortable chairs, and air conditioning blasting all over the tables. I'd heard great things about the pizzas, and seen how they'd won awards and accolades, but I wasn't entirely satisfied with the dough. On the other hand, the toppings on top of the pizza were good. All the staff were truly courteous and friendly, and they made the evening a truly enjoyable one.

The menu offers unusual ideas, with carefully selected ingredients and a more creative approach than your average pizzeria. An interesting choice for those seeking a unique pizza. Definitely worth trying again.
12/04/2026: Flour leavened to perfection, professionally baked, and top-quality ham and mozzarella. I congratulated the owner and the staff at the cash register for their service.

02/08/2026: On Friday, July 31, 2026, my wife and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary at Villa Ermes. We would like to thank the owners, Ezio and Salvo, for their dedication, professionalism, integrity, and sensitivity, both during the planning and execution of the event. The food was excellent and plentiful. The staff was kind, attentive, and helpful. The photographer recommended by the owners was always smiling and available to accommodate our requests and those of our guests. I would conclude by highlighting the excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.
22/06/2026: I celebrated my 18th birthday here, and everything was wonderful. The food was delicious and plentiful, and they let you choose your menu and customize it to your liking. The photographer was super professional and talented, and took magnificent photos.
The DJ really livened up the evening, getting us going. Mr. and Mrs. Iraci were very helpful and friendly, and I thank them again for the wonderful organization of the evening.
All the staff were magnificent.
