19/10/2025: My husband and I stumbled upon this bar by chance, and it ended up being our favorite spot of the whole trip! The vibe was incredible — there was an after-work crowd across the street, every table was full, cars could barely get through — it was chaotic in the best way. We each had a Negroni and then a lager, both great. The atmosphere was so lively and local, and there were even families with kids, so it felt really welcoming. Highly recommend for the amazing ambiance and energy — you won’t regret it!

It was simply perfect, flawless, and the credit goes to the entire wonderful Parisi family and their magnificent staff. We received countless compliments from our guests about the elegance of the venue, the quality of the food, and the professionalism of the staff. Everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail with love, attention, and great passion. A special thank you goes to Giusy, an extraordinary person, always available, kind, and attentive to our every need and those of our guests. The passion she puts into her work is evident in every single detail. Thanks also to the Director, who accompanied us from start to finish, accommodating our every request with professionalism, availability, and great patience. The food was simply perfect: plentiful, high-quality, and truly delicious. Even today, all our guests continue to compliment us. We would wholeheartedly recommend Casale San Leonardo to any couple looking for an elegant, emotional, and flawless wedding. We will cherish this day forever. 07/05/2026: They are so nice here and the sandwiches ohh wow. The bread is fresh and when it is gone it’s gone and if you arrive too late you can almost guarantee it will be gone. You can either make your own or you can grab what is made that day. Yesterday we had one that are a mix of a pretzel and Sicilian bread. My goodness was it good. Recommend for sure. If you don’t speak Italian why are patient with you and will try to help out.

03/06/2026: I arrived at Ciccio in Pentola with an illustrious recommendation, and that alone raised the bar. The risk, in these cases, is that anticipation surpasses reality. Here, the opposite happened. Reality took its place, smiled, and began serving dishes that were more convincing than the last. We ate outside, in the gentle June breeze, but above all, the interior speaks volumes about the place. Palermitan elegance without ostentation, exposed stone, well-kept tables, just the right lighting, and that rare sense of welcome without being invasive. Then there are the owners, present with grace, and especially Bruno, who deserves a special mention. He didn't simply recommend. He accompanied the meal with intelligence, reading the table, the taste, and the moment. From the dishes to the wine, every choice came naturally, without textbook rigidity or unnecessary theatricality. The raw fish was incredibly fresh, clean, and crisp, with that quality that needs no tricks. Scampi, shrimp, tartare, and cod all spoke the language of the sea, but with perfect diction. The paccheri with shrimp was a small manifesto of Mediterranean cuisine. Pasta, tomato, shellfish, a flavorful base, and balance. No frills, just well-prepared ingredients and a sure hand. Even the catch of the day, with potatoes, cherry tomatoes, capers, and olives, or in a slightly smoked version, had that Sicilian tone, capable of being both simple and cultured, down-to-earth and precise. The wine was chosen with the same logic. Not to impress, but to accompany. A local wine, consistent with the meal, served without posturing. And when a wine truly accompanies, it means someone has understood the meal before even pouring it. In short, five stars because six can't be given. But that's the gist. A place where you eat very well, feel better, and leave with the rare feeling of having been not simply served, but cared for. In Palermo, there are many ways to experience the sea. Here at Ciccio's, the sea arrives at the table polite, generous, and in splendid form.

24/05/2026: The food was good, fresh fish and dishes with slightly unusual recipes. Everything was very good, but the plates weren't particularly large, and I personally found the prices high. For about 10 people, we each had one course (first or second course), mixed appetizers, two Grillo wines, and a non-alcoholic drink or Spritz before dinner. The main courses ranged between €20 and €30, which I thought was excessive, especially considering the portions, which weren't particularly generous, but the food was very good. The location is a small, well-organized restaurant with just a few seats. The service was quick, but I found the head waiter to be a bit intrusive and unpleasant. I won't return, even though I ate very well. The prices were too high for the portions (though the quality was good). I didn't appreciate the presence of the head waiter (I don't know if he's the owner).

13/05/2026: Helpful friendly staff made us feel right at home. We chose a Calamari Frittura starter and a Caprese salad, both light meals to share. They were excellent, the salad particularly refreshing. Complimentary bread with olive oil and balsamic was an additional treat.

01/06/2026: The worst Chinese delivery meal in my thirty years of experience. Flavorless vegetable noodles with no soy sauce; soy sauce in a separate container, extremely salty and a strange color; overripe fried fruit with blackened banana pieces; French fries (x2) probably fried for lunch or even yesterday; chocolate rabbit bread (x2) completely tasteless with chocolate icing in a separate container from the supermarket; soggy and oil-soaked spring rolls; pineapple chicken without pineapple, with peppers and sweet and sour sauce; steamed dumplings unsightly, but edible; Chinese beer excellent as always. The icing on the cake: the Glovo delivery driver, who was tipped 10%, didn't come up to deliver the food and instead put it in the elevator. The receipt was €38 (acceptable if everything had been really good) and the total cost was €44 by credit card. Given the enthusiastic reviews on the site, I think the special treatment was personally addressed to my family or the reviews are from friends and relatives of the incompetent restaurateur.

23/05/2026: Great service from the server Jericho. He said he's been working since opening, he has a great personality. I came almost everyday, during the ship's drydock in fincantieri. Jericho remember my order all the time without telling him. I will come back here again whenever i come to Palermo. I also want to say thank you to one of the owner family, the lady. She's very nice and say hello to me everytime i come, eventhough she couldn't speak english. Just one comment, some of the waiters, they need to be more friendly to their customers. Other than that, thank you for welcoming me every time i come to visit. Bravo!!

04/05/2026: I ordered some cannoli to go and I can only give them 5 stars, they were delicious. I ate one leftover cannoli the next day and it was still excellent. Highly recommended.
