They saved the day! After a long day of travel, we were able to eat something, although it was very late. They offered us pasta and antipasti. The exquisite caponata and the incredible pasta, we tried the pistachio and fennel ones among others. To repeat.

Not sure why all the whiners are here with negative reviews; however, when a lot of people dine out they think they are food critics and part of the bourgeios class....when they are clearly not. This restaurant is superb and local. When dining here, you are on Sicilian time and it is a wee more casual with service. The Bolognese is fantastic, the espresso strong and tasty, and the dessert is amazing. The Christmas lunch of grouper ravioli and potatoes was bellissimo. The ricotta frosted cake was the best I ever ate. Service is friendly and they make you feel comfortable if you cannot speak Sicilian.

Il ristorante si trova a due passi da Vucciria e la vista è sulla piazza della Chiesa di San Domenico. Già solo il posto a me è piaciuto molto. Mi sono fermato un sabato sera di fine ottobre con un amico e si stava tranquillamente in maglietta e così abbiamo cenato all'aperto. Il servizio è buono e i camerieri sono simpatici e premurosi. La pizza è piaciuta al mio amico mentre io ho optato per un bel piatto di cozze che ho davvero gustato. Prezzi buoni. Sicuramente ci tornerò la prossima volta che sono a Palermo. Grazie!

Granita superlativa! La più buona che ho mai mangiato. Abbiamo preso caffè e mandorla ed era magnifica con i pezzi di mandola dentro, densità perfetta .. veramente eccezionale! Non faccio mai recensioni ma qui la ho dovuta fare .. seduto al tavolo 3,50 con scontrino .. ormai cose che si trovano in mondi quasi inesistenti! Top! Top! Top!

01/03/2024: Il locale é accogliente, c’é una bella atmosfera. La pizza davvero squisita, leggera, e i prezzi sono giusti. Servizio veloce e impeccabile. É stato un piacere, torneremo senza dubbio!
