02/09/2024: Das Novè in Taormina ist vermutlich die Institution für alles rund um Pistazien. Hier wird gefühlt alles aus und mit Pistazien angeboten. Neben dem Cafe, gibt es auch einen Shop mit diversen Produkten. Ich probierte dort Pistaziengranita und den Espresso Pistacchio. Wirklich sehr gut!

29/08/2024: We stopped in for pistachio gelato it was amazing we also bought pistachios liquor to take with us. Friendly staff. The had tons of pistachio flavored items to purchase.

26/11/2024: Simply wonderful. Small, tranquil alley, small chairs and tables made from wine crates in front of it, rustically furnished inside - what was promised visually was even exceeded by the wine. We're not big wine connoisseurs, we said we like a dry Lugana - he recommended a local wine. In short: the best we have ever drunk. We also ate a bruschetta, the selection was limited because not all the ingredients were available in winter (so everything is fresh!) - but still a very good little piece of bread for a reasonable €2.50. If you want to have a drink before dinner: go here!

04/09/2024: The patisserie we visited today was a real treat! For days we had been attracted by the seductive scent of the cookies that captivated us as we passed by. We finally took the plunge and went inside. The selection of treats was impressive. We chose a delicious tart and various cookies. Both were not only visually appealing, but also tasted excellent. The tart was fresh and baked to perfection, while the cookies offered a wonderful combination of crunch and flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, which made our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience that we can recommend to anyone looking for authentic sweet delicacies in Sicily. We can't wait to come back and try more delicacies!

02/01/2025: Tried some pastries for the first time; right product quality... good but not the best; the thing that disappointed me was the packaging, which a pastry shop usually doesn't use!!! Pastries placed inside the bakery style paper bag!!! Plus one of the two ladies seemed annoyed by doing her job! A piece of advice: if you don't love the job you do... change jobs!!! Furthermore, remember the customer should be welcomed with a smile and not with sulking and anger! The pastries must be elegantly wrapped and not in bags like those in the bakery, otherwise change the name of the place and insert bakery and not pastry shop! No pastry shop worthy of the name puts the pastries inside the bag that is usually used by bakeries!!!

27/10/2024: Very good, if not the best on the island of Liberi, where mainly locals go, as it is hidden from tourists even though it is right next to the main promenade

16/10/2024: Family restaurant, Mr. in the kitchen and Mrs. serving. The dishes are original, correct quantities which allow you to make all three dishes without eating too much. The lobster pasta was royal, but two pieces of grilled octopus at €18 are a little dry. Desserts are OK. Romantic atmosphere with a slow 90 playlist on loop, nicely decorated covered terrace. Digestive offered.

06/08/2024: Nothing different from all the cannoli I can find in any Italian pastry shop. I also asked why there is sheep's ricotta in August (which is actually impossible as it is produced in the winter/spring periods). I was told that their ricotta is only fresh. After a bit of chatting I was told that the milk is frozen so in my opinion it couldn't be defined as fresh! A piece of advice if you want a cannoli made with fresh sheep's ricotta, go there in cold periods!

29/07/2024: La prima affermazione detta quando siamo usciti dal negozio è stata: “che bella persona”. Il signor Roberto (al pari dei suoi figli) è assolutamente l’esempio migliore di come dovrebbe comportarsi un commerciante. Super ospitale, umile e chiacchierone, ci ha fatto assaggiare di tutto e di più dei suoi prodotti gratuitamente, e devo dire che erano tutti spettacolari. Se cercate il classico luogo turistico in cui consumare prodotti mediocri a prezzi elevatissimi, lontani da Roberto: lui ha a cuore la tradizione, la qualità, la bontà ed i prezzi giusti di ciò che vende. Assolutamente da provare se passate per Taormina, a mani basse il migliore.

27/12/2024: I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Agrihotel da Marianna . From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcomed and comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk team was incredibly accommodating and professional. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with every amenity I could ask for. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the view from the window was breathtaking. Housekeeping did an outstanding job throughout my stay. The facilities were top-notch Wellness Centre including Indoor thermal pool, jacuzzi etc... The on-site dining was a highlight as well, the food was delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. What stood out most was the staff's attention to detail and genuine care for their guests. they make you feel like Home I can't recommend Agrihotel Da Marianna highly enough. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel provides the perfect balance of comfort, luxury, and outstanding service. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

20/10/2024: A fantastic experience! We weren't sure what to order, so the owners just made us a pizza with what we wanted on it. And what pizza it was! Absolutely huge (we ordered a family pizza), absolutely delicious, and perfectly made. The sort of pizza you will never find outside of Italy, and even here it is exceptional. Oh and the spicy sauce? VERY spicy, and tasty. Not only that; before the pizza we were given nice arancini as a starter. We also ordered white house wine, which was also great. At the end of the meal we were offered limoncello - and not just any limoncello! I can honestly say that was the best limoncello I have ever - actually, WE have ever tried. Really, the homemade limoncello was an absolute revelation. The delicious food and drinks at very reasonable prices weren't even everything - the owners were super hospitable and friendly, always smiling, also when they asked us to move - the reason? The pizza wouldn't fit on the small table. Really, if you are in the neighborhood, DEFINITELY do not miss this place. I know we will be back!

11/11/2024: I went for lunch on Saturday, a menu based on mushrooms, let's say good for a period in which mushrooms are no longer available, the only flaw unfortunately are the raw mushrooms as they are no longer in season, the rest was excellent

05/11/2024: We had lunch there. Incredibly delicious. Vincenzo and his wife, Marinella were incredible hosts and fantastic cooks. All of the food is from farm to table. Most of the food is grown locally on the farm of Vincenzo. It is all traditional food and is cooked with love. A very authentic Sicilian experience. we were made to feel like family. We will definitely go out of our way to return again.

17/11/2024: Nel 2018 avendo avuto un'esperienza negativa, non con la gestione ma con un dipendente, avevo espresso una recensione negativa, a distanza di anni son tornato e a dimostrazione che il dipendente deve svolgere il proprio lavoro nel migliore dei modi, mi sono ricreduto, anche perché le pinse sono di ottima qualità e gusto, oggi come anche nel 2018. Ottimo.
