14/08/2026: ✨ A CANNOLI DREAM IN TAORMINA! 🇮🇹❤️ I have seen some beautiful desserts in my life, but these cannoli were on a WHOLE different level! 😍✨ Tucked inside the most gorgeous, colorful, whimsical bakery in Taormina, Sicily, I found what may be the most beautiful cannoli I have ever laid eyes on. And then I tasted it… 🤤 The fig cannoli with chocolate was absolutely OUT OF THIS WORLD! The perfect crunch, the creamy filling, the sweetness of the fig, and that decadent chocolate… every bite was pure Sicilian magic. 🇮🇹🍫 A thousand out of ten! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This wasn’t just dessert—it was an experience, a work of art, and one more reason to fall completely in love with Sicily. ❤️

12/08/2026: We have been here for a number of years but last night was a real shame. After two hours and one dish we had to leave along with another table. The chef and staff seemed really stressed and I do feel sorry for them. Only 3 people in kitchen for maybe 50 covers seemed quite little maybe someone had fallen ill. Come on guys sort it out you where a gem before.

11/08/2026: Unfortunately, it disappointed our expectations. The location was elegant, but the prices were far too high for the service and wait times. The appetizers were good, but the portions were small for the price. The first courses were nothing special, but for some unknown reason, they arrived cold.

22/08/2026: We spent a delightful evening yesterday in Galati Mamertino at Trattoria Donna Santina. It's a restaurant near the town center that serves traditional Sicilian home-cooked dishes. The dishes are simple and carefully prepared, so there's a bit of a wait (though I should point out that it was also Friday night during the Notte Bianca (White Night). You can sample a variety of dishes; the menu is extensive, and I really appreciated the willingness to adapt dishes to suit vegetarian tastes. The dishes were truly delicious; I particularly enjoyed the coffee-flavored blancmange, which took me back to the way my grandmother used to make them. The icing on the cake was the extremely kind owner, who explained the menu to us in detail, and the staff in general, who were very attentive to our requests. It's clear that this is a restaurant run with love and passion; it's definitely a place to return to!

18/08/2026: A typical family-run trattoria. Homemade cuisine, very authentic and made with locally sourced products. Everything is delicious, from appetizers to desserts. Very attentive and prepared for gluten-free options. Very friendly owner. Highly recommended.

13/08/2026: Awesome pizza. It was obvious that neither the pizza nor the location would disappoint. However, I wanted to thank the skill and helpfulness of all the waiters who helped me find an earring (a very small stud) that I'd lost while dining. They were super kind and friendly!

13/08/2026: Great vibe and atmosphere at Villa Zuccaro, with a well-dressed crowd and a lively but relaxed feel. Pizzas were around €16 each, which felt fair for the quality. The Pizza Pugliese 2.0 was excellent, and we also had a pizza topped with honey that was fantastic (didn’t catch the exact name, but worth asking about). One order was forgotten and didn’t arrive until we’d nearly finished the rest, but the restaurant handled it well by giving us that pizza for free. That kind of recovery is the difference between a 1-2 star night and a 5 star one. Big thanks to our waiter Omar, who was attentive and helpful throughout and made the evening even better.

07/08/2026: A sensational pistachio gelato. It tastes like real nuts, but sweeter. Truly spectacular. The coconut is also very, very good. There are a wide variety of flavors to choose from. A must-try if you're in Giardini.

07/03/2026: I can't comment...the website says it opens at 6:30 a.m. At 6:55, the shutters were still halfway up, with about ten customers waiting outside, and us, who'd missed the 6:40 ferry to have breakfast there. We left a little annoyed, and because we didn't want to miss the next ferry.

16/08/2026: A truly pleasant discovery, a very elegant restaurant with a refined atmosphere. We were with friends on the outdoor veranda overlooking a beautiful garden. The service was impeccable, and all the dishes we ordered were truly delicious, even the gluten-free pizza. Well done!

16/08/2026: Today, I don't just want to write a review, but a shout-out to all those who write reviews just for the sake of writing negative reviews. In my opinion, no one deserves them. Or rather, they should be written to be an encouragement and help to business owners, not just a way to denigrate and offend. Yesterday, I went to this place because I saw a photo of their pizza online, and as a food and leavened goods enthusiast, I loved it immediately, and when I tasted it, it confirmed everything and exceeded my expectations. The waiter was very thorough and professional, a kind Calabrian gentleman whose name I don't remember. We ordered three pizzas; the wait was about half an hour, but understandable. The very kind owner expressed her regret for people who don't understand what the restaurant world really is. The atmosphere is well-kept and clean. I highly recommend this place. I was very surprised, especially by the quality/price ratio, which is excellent considering it's located in a place where there's a lot of tourism. Have a nice day Federica

14/06/2026: Excellent place to enjoy traditional Sicilian dishes made with fresh ingredients. The staff and owner are incredibly kind and helpful! 100% recommended.

20/04/2026: A very unique bistro, furnished with recycled objects, yet with careful attention to detail and good taste. We had a Palermo-style appetizer and a red prawn first course. The simplicity of the dish perfectly showcased the flavor of the incredibly fresh fish. Excellent value. I'll definitely be back.

30/06/2026: The terrace is in a stunning location for watching exceptional sunsets. I recommend them for an aperitif, as I found the food to be very basic, with tasty but not unforgettable dishes. The house appetizer was very good.
