24/03/2024: Historic fry shop of San Berillo. Once a central district of Catania full of activities and stories. Stories like those of Goliarda Sapienza, an intellectual from Catania little known by her fellow citizens who lived in this neighborhood. It is very original to find a poster with Goliarda's photo and a comment of hers where the Friggitoria is mentioned. An experience worth having.

05/03/2024: An almost daily appointment on the university student's day (and otherwise!). Friendly staff and excellent food. I have always left here satisfied, which is not to be taken for granted being a vegetarian. Advised!

03/02/2024: My favorite bakery in Sicily during our one week stay. Affordable products and friendly staff. I don’t speak Italian or Sicilian but they were kind and made the best possible effort to communicate. Thank you so much, and I hope to visit again someday.
