21/08/2025: We visited Rinuccio a Milo and it was a wonderful experience. We ate traditional Sicilian dishes with a refined twist, all delicious and with attention to detail. The staff and chef were extremely kind and efficient, making us feel welcomed and pampered. The restaurant is located in a truly enchanting location, surrounded by nature and with a marvelous view of Mount Etna. A place that combines excellent food, friendliness, and the beauty of the landscape. Highly recommended!

19/08/2025: Ristorante Da Rinuccio is a renowned osteria located in Milo, on the slopes of Mount Etna, on Via Mareneve. It is renowned for its authentic Sicilian cuisine and welcoming atmosphere surrounded by greenery. Traditional Sicilian and Mediterranean dishes are served, with a focus on local ingredients. Specialties include: Trofie with pistachio cream and crispy bacon, and Macaroni with Nebrodi pork ragù and fennel. Second courses include slow-cooked pork shank and sliced cubed roll with mixed salad. The excellent ingredients used and the friendly, attentive staff are impressive. Also recommended for its location, the lush greenery surrounding the rustic restaurant, and the view of Mount Etna.

17/07/2025: Best lunch spot in this town. It's only open for lunch and it's relatively busy at times. They have a great selection that includes maybe 20 different items from pasta to meat/chicken/fish. Inside is air conditioned. There is parking just across the street.

04/07/2025: We detoured between Agrigento and Taormina to stop here for lunch and were so excited to try everything! The savoury pastries were delicious as were the cakes, biscuits & ice cream too. We even came back the next day after visiting Mt Etna (to bring our friends) and ate even more including almond granita with espresso and the canoli (wow!). Yummmmm!! I wish we had stayed in Catania just to eat here everyday. Wow! Traditional, no fuss Italian food made vegan. Yes please! Grazie Dolcezza ❤️ The staff were also very patient with our limited Italian and the prices were great!

26/06/2025: I wish there was an information in the store for foreigners saying that certain food is only available at certain times. I found it out the hard the way . Up to 11 you can only buy sweet pastries etc . From 11 you can buy savoury but everything might be sold out anyway by the time you get there lets say at 12. I wanted to stock up for my flight back home and I wasnt able to as I got there before 10 . They didn’t offer to bake me bun or two even tho they could’ve.I was there 3 days in the row. I really liked the stuffed savoury buns , donut , little pizzas were good too. Real shame is that no one tells you what’s available when and if at all

29/07/2025: Primo Piano in Catania blew me away. No exaggeration—this was the best pasta and pizza I’ve ever had. Everything was bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The pasta was rich and comforting, with sauce that clung to every bite like it was made for it. The pizza? Absolute perfection—crispy on the edges, soft in the middle, and topped with just the right balance of cheese and fresh ingredients. The space itself is cool and inviting, with a modern yet relaxed vibe. The service was friendly and efficient without trying too hard. You can tell this place is run by people who care about what they’re doing. If you’re in Catania, make this a must. It’s simple, honest food—but done at the highest level. I’m already dreaming about going back.

29/08/2025: Very welcoming place, located inside a wonderful square with expert and professional staff in carrying out their work. Granita, ice cream and brioche among the best I have ever eaten. Excellent quality of the savory too. I highly recommend trying the pizza for lunch, the arancini and the focaccia. Truly one better than the other and above all prepared with local and super fresh products!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

06/08/2025: Great European-style brunch in Catania. We had a great time, the server was lovely. The value for money is very fair (€36 for 2 people and we couldn't finish everything). There is no extra charge for cutlery like in other Italian restaurants. There is a nice variety of dishes so everyone can find something they like. Brunch is served until 12pm, we arrived a little after noon and the server let us order the brunch dishes which we really appreciated. Very good place where we certainly wouldn't have stopped if we hadn't found the recommendation beforehand on the internet. I recommend ❤️

05/08/2025: My partner and I went there today for breakfast. We received a wonderful welcome; the servers were friendly and cheerful. They took our luggage and put it somewhere else so we wouldn't be in the way. We recommend this cafe for breakfast or brunch. Thank you.

16/08/2025: Simply pizza – nothing special. Small size. Very high “coperto”, as much as 2 Euro per person. That’s really excessive just for bringing the pizza to the table.

23/07/2025: The dough was well-cooked and the portion generous, but the flavor was a bit dull. The fries, no longer crispy on top of the warm mozzarella, overpowered the flavors of the other ingredients. The same goes for the burrata. A delicious idea, but the overall balance could be improved.

20/08/2025: A much-appreciated discovery On the recommendation of friends, we discovered this spectacular place surrounded by nature, yet just minutes from the Giarre highway exit. We were immediately welcomed by the owner, a very kind and friendly person, as were the rest of the staff. We enjoyed excellent porcini mushrooms, both fried and raw, and two quality pizzas. We will definitely be back to try other dishes!

15/08/2025: We had a wonderful meal; we shared the sirloin steak as a starter, and for the main course, I had the double-cooked squid. The staff was very friendly, and the wines served by the glass were also delicious. In short: highly recommended!
