03/10/2025: We're almost in the historic center of Cagliari. A beautiful place. Decorated with character. Large outdoor terrace. We stopped with friends for an aperitif. Friendly service. Unfortunately, the Aperol Spritz was sad and very diluted, with very little Aperol; in fact, it seemed very pale. Even the second time, it was made the same way... so I assume they do it that way... what a shame. Even the snacks that accompanied the Spritz were perfectly in line with the Spritz. A shame.
30/09/2025: I was there for about 45 minutes, we've ordered the drinks and the food. After claming the drinks to different waiters a couple of times, while seeing other tables getting served (slowly) before us and one waiter kicking a pigeon, we decided to leave.

23/09/2025: Su Spuntinu is a real guarantee in Cagliari! Spectacular sandwiches, generous, and made with the freshest ingredients. The service is fast and friendly, and the staff is always helpful and smiling. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a quick snack or an evening with friends. Excellent value. Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back!
22/09/2025: I was at Su Spuntinu yesterday and we were all truly satisfied with the excellent sandwiches we had! The bread was excellent, the meat superb, and the toppings delicious. The selection is vast, with so many sandwiches, and you can even create your own. The place is very cute and the staff very welcoming, it makes you feel right at home. Uncle Lino gave his bibs to the children, who were thrilled with this gift! Sometimes it takes so little to make a difference, even at checkout I found the owner very professional, polite, and kind. See you next time!

A pleasant place in Cagliari for a meal with friends. My partner and I took advantage of the aperitivo option: €15 for two drinks/glasses + a platter. There's also a wide selection of sauces to pair with your meal, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating to our requests!
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a pleasant evening in the heart of Cagliari! ✨
18/07/2025: The food and Spritz were really good. Their specialty is fried food, and what can I say...good and dry, so super digestible. We took the offer with the fried food platter and Spritz. The platter included chicken meatballs, fresh chips, spring rolls, and other little things—SUPERB! For €15, it was truly top-notch.
Special mention goes to the service; the staff was incredibly kind. I asked if they had a changing table for my baby, and unfortunately there wasn't one, but they set up a table for me in the bathroom and promised to buy one...thank you so much! It's become my favorite place for aperitivo! ❤️

29/09/2025: A high price for a standard, old-fashioned, but charmless city-center hotel. Staff unfriendly, jaded, and unmotivated. The terrace is unusable in the evening due to an extremely noisy outdoor fan. Disappointing value for money.

20/07/2025: Abbiamo usufruito del servizio da asporto pranzando con gnocchetti alla vegetariana (10 euro) e polpo con patate (16 euro) e posso affermare senza alcun dubbio che il rapporto qualità/quantità/ prezzo è davvero molto buono. Il servizio è veloce e molto cortese, gli imballaggi ecologici e il piccolo locale è ben tenuto! Peccato averlo scoperto solo a fine vacanza.... è davvero un jolly di qualità da non perdere assolutamente!

09/10/2025: I can honestly say this is the worst food I've ever eaten on this island. The pasta tasted like salt, and the seafood was old and defrosted. I hope this doesn't end badly for me.
08/10/2025: May have missed the memo here but 140 Grammi is 140 grams of pasta. The sharing menu which we thought was for two was 280 gram of carbonara as well as steak frites, so rather a lot of food but recommended for 3 people (especially the value for money splitting the cost). Carbonara was a little too salty but the rest of the food was nice.

04/10/2025: Top breakfast! There were 3 of us and we ordered 3 small pizzas, including one to take away, and a conchiglia with jam. Everything was truly delicious! 😋 The environment was also very clean, the staff was very courteous and also super kind ❣️ I highly recommend this place.

In my opinion, this restaurant is a typical tourist trap...
Which was later confirmed by our hosts at our accommodation.
Nice atmosphere.
Decent service.
Mediocre prices...
Never again for dinner.
Well, all the others just opened later...

11/09/2025: I'll start by saying the pizza was pretty good, so I'm giving it full stars, as this review is constructive.
I order two pizzas by the slice. There are only six flavors, so the choice is simple: sausage and onion.
After 18 minutes of "Hi dear," "Hi Mario," "Hi Luigi," and so on (all people served before me), I decide to ask. I'm served, and the owner apologizes, but his wife, in a truly inappropriate way, begins, "What are you apologizing for?"
The husband responds, "You waited 18 minutes for two small pizzas."
The wife replies, "Never mind, if they want to wait."
Let's just say it doesn't work that way. When I point out that everyone came first and that 18 minutes for two pizzas is embarrassing, the lady replies, "Oh, in your dreams."
I might dream of two pizza slices in a decent amount of time, but with this unconstructive and uncompromising attitude, they'll surely dream of new customers, but Mario, Luigi, and various friends will definitely be there! Terrible! Work on your customer management!
08/09/2025: We go to the pizzeria, I order 4 pizzas to go, I pay, it was 7:30 pm, inside it's unbearably hot, while waiting other people arrive, who strangely leave before us, I approached me to ask for an explanation and I'm told that there are phone orders and that those who leave early are because they ordered by phone, okay, let's wait, moral of the story, after an hour of waiting my husband goes to ask for an explanation and they tell him that they don't have the order, absurd, so who did we pay for it? I re-ordered, apologies and that's it.
Never again, and then for an hour of waiting, in addition to the apology, an extra pizza as a gesture (not for the pizza itself) was the minimum

07/09/2025: We had an amazing time here at ChiaroScuro, usually I’m not a fan of Sardinian cousin but I have to say for the way everything was it made me definitely reconsider! Everything was superb, we trued around 9 different dishes, each bringing a different perspective to the traditional Sardinian food I was used to. Most of the dishes bring a touch of our natural flora, reminding of the smells of Sardinia countryside and macchia Mediterranea. My top recommendation would be spaghetto alla bottarga, very delicate and creamy, and the maialetto in oliocottura, which combine crunchiness and tenderness spectacularly. Regarding desert we only tried the Macchia which combined very nice aromas from one of the most iconic Sardinian plants. Overall 100% recommended and really a hidden gem in this town.
