07/09/2025: We had an amazing time here at ChiaroScuro, usually I’m not a fan of Sardinian cousin but I have to say for the way everything was it made me definitely reconsider! Everything was superb, we trued around 9 different dishes, each bringing a different perspective to the traditional Sardinian food I was used to. Most of the dishes bring a touch of our natural flora, reminding of the smells of Sardinia countryside and macchia Mediterranea. My top recommendation would be spaghetto alla bottarga, very delicate and creamy, and the maialetto in oliocottura, which combine crunchiness and tenderness spectacularly. Regarding desert we only tried the Macchia which combined very nice aromas from one of the most iconic Sardinian plants. Overall 100% recommended and really a hidden gem in this town.

06/06/2025: La pizza muy muy rica y el pan de pizza igual. Lo que nos sobró nos lo pusieron para llevar y no hemos parado de comerlo con hummus en la playa. El personal muy amable. El único pero: la ensalada tropical: media lata de atún, 4 tomates cherry partidos y unos trozos de aguacate no maduro por 10€… pero igual fue culpa nuestra por pedir ensalada en una pizzería con pizzas enormes riquísimas y por un precio muy bueno!

06/11/2025: We stayed for almost two weeks, and the service was very friendly and helpful. Parking is available on the premises, with a few additional spaces just outside. The grounds were well-maintained, but it was a shame there wasn't a circular path. The location right on a large lake sounds beautiful, but when full, it dries up and has a large rim lined with withered trees. Previously, you could drive around the lake, but now the road to the hotel is a dead end. Breakfast was really not good. Every day, the same two types of sausage and one type of sliced ​​cheese. The jams, as is so often the case in Italy, were simply sweet and tasteless. The boiled eggs were ice-cold, and the scrambled eggs were too runny. The "workout room" is a pavilion with two treadmills. Our room was at the lowest part of the complex, which was a bit of a challenge with large suitcases due to the steep slope. When it got dark, you had to use your phone's flashlight because parts of the path were very poorly lit. This was a bit dangerous, especially on the steps.

06/09/2025: Overall, this hotel is a lovely, peaceful place to unwind. The rooms consist of semi-detached "cottages" built into the hillside. Access is via a stepped path, making them immediately inaccessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. Breakfast is included, while lunch and dinner can be enjoyed à la carte or from a set menu, which is provided in writing at breakfast. A few caveats: one, as I mentioned earlier, is that the rooms (cottages) are generally quite noisy. Thirdly, the menu offered (via the breakfast menu) doesn't always meet expectations. For example, the salad is like antipasto, with chopped cabbage lacking in flavor. The same cabbage is used as a garnish/vegetable with a veal schnitzel. The price-quality/quantity ratio is not balanced, placing this hotel in the higher price range. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return, but perhaps for one or two nights.

24/09/2025: There was a lot of delicious food. The staff was polite. There was a good selection, and it was constantly updated. I didn't like that the names and ingredients weren't listed. For example, I didn't try a lot of things because I didn't know what kind of meat they were made with, as I don't eat pork. The women's restroom was very dirty; the toilet wouldn't flush.

21/09/2025: One of the few places in Cagliari and the surrounding area that doesn't close too early. A very original location and a vast selection of beers, all very unique and interesting. Friendly and cheerful staff. Affordable and fair prices (an IPA ranges from €0.50 to €8). I would recommend booking a table, especially for large groups.

09/09/2025: A charming spot in the heart of Cagliari. This beer garden and restaurant won us over at first sight: the location is meticulously designed, with wooden furnishings that exude warmth and character, splendid chandeliers, and elegant details like antique telephones that tell stories. Outside, a veranda surrounded by greenery creates a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for an evening with friends or family. The menu is varied and well-thought out: from grilled and flavorfully enriched vegetables to generous platters, flavorful meats, and delicious appetizers. And the beers? A vast selection, all of the highest quality. The same attention is paid to the carefully selected grappas. It's a family-run business, and it shows: Fiona and her mother welcome you with a sincere smile and a rare warmth. They make you feel at home. The place is immaculate, including the bathrooms, which are often neglected elsewhere. Highly recommended in every way!

31/07/2025: Un bello spazio immerso nel verde dove è possibile praticare diverse attività sportive ed organizzare feste.

16/04/2025: Brand new pan courts, covered. Outdoor tennis courts. A small kiosk provides the essentials, such as water, coffee, some energy bars, chips... the bathrooms are always very clean. Structure accessible for disabled people.

30/05/2025: Just left the place after a 50th... everything was very good, they served us platters of cold cuts and cheeses, since it was so abundant we even left some, along with the platter there were fried culutgionis and truly exquisite eggplant meatballs, then they made a round of spaghetti with sea urchins, mouth-watering in a baking dish, it was for 4 but we ate for 5 with seconds. Afterwards there was the mixed grill with French fries... Everything was very good, clean place and very friendly staff. Congratulations, I can't wait to go back

04/05/2025: We went for lunch on May 1st, the day of Sant'Efisio. There were 4 of us and we took the fixed menu at 25 euros which included a first course, a second course and a side dish (specifically two seafood fregule, two artichoke and bottarga ravioli, a sliced ​​meat and 3 mixed fried foods plus chips) all very good and plentiful. 10/10/2025: Bar that I frequent for my work lunch break, good choice of first courses, second courses, salads and even quicker snacks, all good. I always come back willingly, even for the carbonara.

23/10/2025: had a wonderful evening with my mom for her birthday. the servers were so attentive and the food and wine was outstanding. great presentation. we had the catch of the day, sea bass, and rabbit ravioli and seared red tuna. and even was presented with a complimentary starter before which was so appreciated. i forget the servers name (Oswaldo or Giuseppe i think) was so lovely! we stayed until after close and he didn’t rush us out. thank you guys.

12/11/2025: Small but very welcoming place, the food was excellent. I went for lunch and ordered the four-course combo. Everything was really good. The noodles were plentiful (especially the rice ones). The soba noodles weren't in great quantity, but they were really good. I ordered the plain ones with vegetables, which were truly excellent. The tempura shrimp and vegetable rolls were also excellent. I'll definitely be back!!!

04/09/2025: My experience: The decor is very elegant, BUT! THE FOOD WAS AWESOME! I feel cheated! What I ordered from the menu, when they brought it to me, was something completely different: takoyaki! Which was brought to me! It's a damn potato pimpong ball bought from the supermarket next door. And the nigiri had more rice than fish, they looked like rice balls, and the sweet and sour shrimp had more batter than shrimp. ME! I'M NEVER GOING BACK!

30/08/2025: Very rude people here. We asked for a drink, the guy was upset by my request, but a lot a people was already drinking. I think lt’s because we are foreign tourist. If you are xenophobic, try another job !
