30/05/2026: If you're looking for a place where quality meets authenticity, Vintage Café Bistrot is a guarantee. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and familiar; you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The dishes are incredibly fresh, the prices are incredibly fair (a rarity these days!), and the staff is friendly, kind, and always smiling. A sincere and authentic atmosphere that makes you want to return. Highly recommended!

07/06/2026: Unfortunately we can’t give an opinion on the food because we were ignored by the staff for 15 minutes as we waited to be sat. Other customers rudely walked in front of us and no one acknowledged our presence. Even another patron eating there noticed and was shocked by how we were treated. We left and ate a delicious meal with impeccable service at Geko, where we were welcomed in immediately. I’m sure the €90 we spent was also welcomed.

07/06/2026: The food was reasonably good, but the service took a very, very, very long time. The risotto was loose rice, not really risotto, although it was tasty. In general, it lacked salt. The fries were frozen. You could see a child of about 5 years old playing with their feet on the kitchen counter, which doesn't seem hygienic or appropriate to me. I wouldn't go back, although it's not the worst restaurant I've ever been to.

14/04/2026: A MUST for Quartu's pizza al taglio, a regular from the Juvine Aetas, I happened upon it just the other day, overcome with a celebratory emotion of memories and flavors. As a Freeland taster, I had to and wanted to pass on this culinary legacy to my daughters! Now they know! I always recommend it! Speed, courtesy, and... the real pizza al taglio! My compliments to the owners and their service to the city of Quartu 👏👏 vote dieshi!

01/03/2026: Yesterday, for the first time, I went to dinner at Osteria dei Mondin. The restaurant is very welcoming and intimate, as there are only a few seats. The manager was super attentive and extremely friendly in her service. Now, let's get to the most important part: the menu. There are various options, both seafood and meat. I opted for the tasting menu, which includes: an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert of your choice from the daily menu. I loved everything I ate, and I was pleasantly surprised not only by the well-balanced and harmonious flavors, but especially by the presentation. I definitely fell in love with the egg with Parmesan cream, pears, and licorice. The combination of the various ingredients was truly exceptional. The ricotta and asparagus ravioli with saffron and mushrooms were also very good, as was the veal fillet with cheese. I was pleasantly surprised by the pistachio crema catalana, which was truly delicious (I would have gladly eaten another). Highly recommended for an intimate evening with a varied and delicious menu.

21/04/2026: We visit this pizzeria every now and then, and honestly, we've always had a pretty good time. There's not a lot of seating, but it's just the right size for a family who wants to enjoy pizza even on weekdays. The only downside is perhaps the noise, which can be annoying when the place is busy. The last two pizzas we tried were simply spectacular: cooked well but not burned like they often are, and flavorful. Frankly, I've rarely had pizzas this good. Plus, the service is impeccable and the service is quick. Overall, I always enjoy going there.

07/06/2026: We had a lovely stay at Aldiola Country Resort overall and really enjoyed our time there. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by immaculate gardens and grounds that were clearly very well cared for. Every day we saw the gardener working hard and it truly showed. The whole property feels pristine and relaxing. The biggest highlight of this hotel is without question the staff. The reception team and breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful throughout our stay and really made us feel welcome. Service generally ran smoothly and pleasantly, although there was one staff member who came across rather grumpy and unapproachable compared to everyone else. Breakfast was very good with a nice selection each morning. The rooms were comfortable and overall good, though they could benefit from a little updating to match the charm of the rest of the resort. One thing that should be improved is the communication regarding the free bikes advertised by the hotel. Unfortunately they were not available when we arrived, so it would be better if availability was updated more clearly. As vegetarians, we also found the dinner menu somewhat limited for hotel of this category. We ended up eating essentially the same pasta dish every evening. One night there was a slight variation in the pasta itself, but the sauce remained the same with pine nuts and cherry tomatoes. A more creative and varied vegetarian offering would make a big difference. On one occasion, chicken was accidentally included in my vegetarian dish, which was disappointing, although the staff handled the issue professionally once it was pointed out. Overall, despite a few areas that could be improved, we had a genuinely lovely stay. The peaceful atmosphere, beautiful grounds, and especially the kindness of most of the staff made it a memorable experience.

19/01/2026: We stayed in the area for four days and dined at this lovely restaurant three times. The service was professional, attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. The wait was short. The portions were adequate. The first courses deserve a special mention. The price was reasonable. They also make pizzas. Mostly frequented by locals. Recommended.

29/11/2025: I chose this restaurant/pizzeria because I was looking for somewhere nearby, and the positive reviews convinced me. What I found was a clean, carefully decorated place, and that's just the first impression; the rest was a continuous and pleasant surprise. Greeted by one of the owners present in the dining room, I immediately appreciated his kindness. I wanted to eat something traditional, since I come from another region, so I trusted him completely; I must say I was delighted with the recommendations I received. The wait time was very short, and I was immediately struck by the care with which the dishes were plated, demonstrating an unsurpassed concern for the customer and a sincere love for their profession. The balance of flavors was nothing short of perfect, and it only made my mouth water. I ate a delicious appetizer, and the first course was equally delicious, accompanied by an excellent house wine, which is not a given. The evening had a special soundtrack, carefully crafted and played on an excellent sound system... I'd noticed a record player, and that also shows passion. I felt at home, and it was also pleasant to chat and get advice on what to see in the surrounding area, given that the Macomer area is home to many ancient sites that are truly interesting to visit if you're a true enthusiast like me. I can say I had a truly wonderful evening and a wonderful meal. When I return to Sardinia, it will definitely be an unmissable stop on my trip.

10/06/2026: An authentic corner of Sardinia! If you're looking for the true flavors of Sardinian tradition, La Bottega di Giò is a must-see. The lady who runs this wonderful business puts passion, care, and love into every product she makes. Her artisanal jams, made with myrtle and local fruits, are simply exceptional: authentic, fragrant, and rich in flavor. Every bite speaks of the most authentic Sardinia. In addition to the jams, you can find excellent local wines, select cheeses, traditional cured meats, and many other local specialties. The real added value is the hospitality: the owner knows how to make every guest feel at home, enthusiastically sharing the history of her products and local traditions. I highly recommend stopping by for a tasting of typical Sardinian dishes, prepared with genuine ingredients and great attention to quality. An experience that will captivate both the palate and the heart. A place where tradition, hospitality, and authentic flavors meet. Kudos to the owner for the passion and dedication she conveys in every detail. We'll definitely be back. A true gem in Budoni.
