23/09/2025: We visited them for the first time to try the mutton as it's prepared here, called 'in cappotto'. I'd never eaten it cooked this way, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The portion was very generous, accompanied by potatoes and carasau bread soaked in the mutton broth. You could also choose the tripe menu. Highly recommended for lovers of this authentic cuisine.

04/01/2026: Hmm...no! It's not my first time there. It's conveniently located in Cagliari, but it's right between two very busy streets. Since the place has two areas, one indoors and one outdoors, the latter might be a bit unsafe and noisy depending on the time of day. The entrance is covered by a fake green carpet that hides a cobblestone path that's really treacherous, especially for women in heels, in my opinion. Leaving aside the exterior, which is no better or worse than many other places, I'd like to focus on the food. I had a pinsa a while ago, and I have to say it wasn't bad, but that's about it! A slice of beef for €20 is something you expect to find at least some quality, but I have to say it was quite tough and lacking in flavor. Bad luck? The accompanying mushrooms were excellent. There's a limited selection of beers, but they're good quality. The staff is very attentive and kind, and they accommodated our every request. Parking is a conundrum. There's plenty of space across the street from the restaurant, but if you happen to catch a football match, you might have to cross yourself. This isn't a negative, given that they aren't playing every day. The bill was too high! Considered a trendy spot in Cagliari, I honestly can't say the value for money for what I ate deserves more than three stars. It's worth a visit, at least for a pre-dinner drink.

30/12/2025: We visited this restaurant and overall had a good time. The food was good, but the service was decidedly slow: we waited about 30 minutes just to order, even though the restaurant was practically empty at the time. When it came time to set the table, one of the glasses they brought us wasn't clean, and unfortunately, we only noticed this after we'd already poured the sparkling wine. We immediately notified the staff, who promptly replaced it with a full one. Despite these oversights, the experience was still pleasant. Four-legged friends are welcome!

09/12/2025: Thanks to social media—Instagram in our case—my wife and I decided to spend an evening at the restaurant "ChiaroScuro di Marina Ravarotto." A surprise for all the senses. Finding poetry in a dish, the story of an ancient land, Sardinia, condensed into flavors, the description of a dish that ignites a thousand emotions. Emotions come from observing unexpected plating, the ceramics that hold the dishes, the menu and wine list stitched with Sardinian fabrics, the warmth of a story passed down and renewed with the art of haute cuisine condensed into a dish. Starting with a raw ingredient and making it noble and contemporary. The skill and professionalism of the dining room staff, capable of making you feel at home but also served as the most important of guests, managed to convey the dedication Chef Cinzia puts into every dish. This, for us, was "ChiaroScuro di Marina Ravarotto" at Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 380 in Cagliari.

01/03/2026: Yesterday, for the first time, I went to dinner at Osteria dei Mondin. The restaurant is very welcoming and intimate, as there are only a few seats. The manager was super attentive and extremely friendly in her service. Now, let's get to the most important part: the menu. There are various options, both seafood and meat. I opted for the tasting menu, which includes: an appetizer, a first course, a second course, and a dessert of your choice from the daily menu. I loved everything I ate, and I was pleasantly surprised not only by the well-balanced and harmonious flavors, but especially by the presentation. I definitely fell in love with the egg with Parmesan cream, pears, and licorice. The combination of the various ingredients was truly exceptional. The ricotta and asparagus ravioli with saffron and mushrooms were also very good, as was the veal fillet with cheese. I was pleasantly surprised by the pistachio crema catalana, which was truly delicious (I would have gladly eaten another). Highly recommended for an intimate evening with a varied and delicious menu.

06/03/2026: Excellent restaurant in a unique location Good ingredients, friendly service. In the summer months, dining on the splendid tree-lined terrace under the moonlight, with a view of the Campidano plain, is simply fantastic.

25/10/2025: A private and quiet hotel with very large rooms. We were in the family suite, and for five of us, there was plenty of space, with plenty of room to play and move around. It must have been at least 40 square meters. Good restaurant and plentiful breakfast.

30/01/2026: It's not a traditional fast food restaurant, but a kingdom. The friendliness, professionalism, quality of the ingredients, and cleanliness set it apart from others. They guide you through the selection of products, advising you and fulfilling your requests. I tried both the sandwiches and the pizza slices, all very balanced and excellent. Congratulations

19/01/2026: I've ordered a sandwich from Roberto many times, preferring it to other fast food restaurants in the city, precisely because I thought it was better and because it's never disappointed me. But last week I was disappointed with a sandwich that was empty and different from the one I'd ordered. Maybe it was the time (late, I admit), but if you don't have the ingredients to maintain the standard the customer is accustomed to, it's best to let them know in advance and, above all, avoid being too cheap with the toppings.

19/01/2026: We stayed in the area for four days and dined at this lovely restaurant three times. The service was professional, attentive, thoughtful, and friendly. The wait was short. The portions were adequate. The first courses deserve a special mention. The price was reasonable. They also make pizzas. Mostly frequented by locals. Recommended.

29/11/2025: I chose this restaurant/pizzeria because I was looking for somewhere nearby, and the positive reviews convinced me. What I found was a clean, carefully decorated place, and that's just the first impression; the rest was a continuous and pleasant surprise. Greeted by one of the owners present in the dining room, I immediately appreciated his kindness. I wanted to eat something traditional, since I come from another region, so I trusted him completely; I must say I was delighted with the recommendations I received. The wait time was very short, and I was immediately struck by the care with which the dishes were plated, demonstrating an unsurpassed concern for the customer and a sincere love for their profession. The balance of flavors was nothing short of perfect, and it only made my mouth water. I ate a delicious appetizer, and the first course was equally delicious, accompanied by an excellent house wine, which is not a given. The evening had a special soundtrack, carefully crafted and played on an excellent sound system... I'd noticed a record player, and that also shows passion. I felt at home, and it was also pleasant to chat and get advice on what to see in the surrounding area, given that the Macomer area is home to many ancient sites that are truly interesting to visit if you're a true enthusiast like me. I can say I had a truly wonderful evening and a wonderful meal. When I return to Sardinia, it will definitely be an unmissable stop on my trip.

06/03/2026: Compliments on the service. Here for a quick aperitif. Kudos to the two waitresses on duty this afternoon, excellent service and kindness. It would be nice to know their names so we could compliment them. The desserts, enjoyed this morning, were also excellent.

20/10/2025: Tiramisu was very tasty. Pizza was okay. Minestrone was unfortunately not tasty. The service was very neutral and could be more cordial. Nice decor and plenty of space.
