Terrible service • Rude and unhelpful staff • We ordered water, but the glasses didn't arrive even after the first course • When we asked for glasses, the waiters seemed annoyed and bothered • Simple requests (wasabi, ginger) were handled with little enthusiasm and unprofessional attitudes (rolling their eyes) 2. Food below expectations • Salmon nigiri were good • Hosomaki and uramaki were not very tasty • Sashimi had a distinct taste of ice, which ruined the flavor of the fish • Truly awful tartare: not so much because of the fish, but because of the sauces used, which were decidedly unpleasant Conclusion • Overall negative experience • There are definitely better alternatives: I personally recommend avoiding this place

17/05/2026: We sat down at 9:00 PM and waited over two hours for three pizzas and a steak, two of which arrived cold, as did the grilled vegetables served with the steak. One pizza was brought to us the wrong one. When we reported the wrong pizza, we were told it was the right one... and then they took the wrong pizza and threw it aside... An endless wait for all the tables; many people at the adjacent tables got up and left without even eating. When it came time to pay the bill, we weren't given receipts, and we even got the wrong change. Never an apology for the endless wait... never again, too bad.

17/05/2026: On May 16th, we booked a table for 9:45 PM. From the very first moment, our welcome indicated organizational issues between the crowded restaurant and the takeout service. After about ten minutes of waiting, we were assigned a table. They took our order and delivered our drinks almost immediately. From then on, the wait for our pizzas became interminable. After an hour and a half of waiting, we decided to ask about our pizzas, but no response. The third person we asked for information, hoping for an immediate response, told us that "we still had to wait about ten minutes" and that they had problems with the oven. After a 10-minute wait at 11:18 PM, while they were still serving the other tables, we decided to get up and go pay for the drinks. At checkout, the cashier, sounding like she wanted to be right, told us "that our pizzas were in the oven" and that "it wasn't her fault if people weren't coming to work." At 11:30 PM, we had to find something to eat, especially since we had drunk beer and were unable to drive. That said, we will never return to Alchimista and DO NOT RECOMMEND going there. The only positive note was that they had the decency to not charge us a cover charge.

It's a shame, despite the somewhat unremarkable location, the place isn't bad. It even seems to be aiming for a fairly modern and innovative feel, but the results leave much to be desired... The only positive note was the well-cooked amberjack in the CBT! I definitely won't be returning!

14/09/2025: We were here today. A truly super positive experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere was refined, the music was classy, ​​and the food was truly superb. We had a Barbagia pizza and a Carloforte pizza. They were truly excellent. Not to mention the desserts! We'll be back often.

10/10/2025: We had a reservation. They were slow to seat us. We wanted to sit on the terrace, but it was closed, even though the weather was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the view. We ordered prosecco, and they brought it flat. We asked them to change it for one with bubbles. They served us still prosecco again. We sent that back, and the waiter got agitated and raised his voice at us. I had to ask him to please lower his voice, as he was being disrespectful. Then the owner's wife came over. She was already upset because it seemed the waiter had told her what had happened. I thought she was coming to apologize, but far from it, she started ranting in Italian, saying she didn't have any more prosecco for us. When I asked her to please speak to us in English or Spanish, she told us in Italian, "NO! We're in Italy, and Italian is spoken here!" I've never felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant, much less been treated so disrespectfully. We got up and left without dinner. A terrible experience! Awful service! And of the almost-owner whose behavior was truly aggressive...

26/09/2025: Mixed reviews. The restaurant doesn't look like much. Despite the small crowd, the service wasn't the most responsive. The waiter directed me to a strawberry panna cotta (advertised in English), when in fact it was the cherry coulis (which I don't recommend, by the way; it has a very chemical taste). However, the dishes were excellent, both the lobster linguine and the tomato and basil roccota ravioli!

I have to say that despite the name, it's much more than a bar. It's an excellent restaurant that offers a small but quality menu. I think it changes every day. I had the linguine with zucchini and shrimp, which was very generous in portion and seasoning. Very, very good. And judging by the cooking and the waiting time, the pasta was cooked to order. The tagliata with baked potatoes was also very tasty. The menu featured fish dishes that I will try in the future. I think it's a great place for lunch during a work break. It offers meals of a higher quality than you'd expect from a place like this. The quality/price ratio is also excellent. Well done, 5 ⭐️ ++

01/04/2026: Terrible experience! I placed an order on Deliveroo for a 32-piece Ebi box! Due to some allergens, I called the restaurant, which hung up on me. I contacted Deliveroo for assistance, but they didn't answer either! Jonid suggested calling the delivery driver, who found the order ready when he arrived. When he mentioned the allergen situation, he basically responded with "I don't care!" Extremely rude from the staff! I threw away half the order and the money I spent! I had promised myself for a long time I wouldn't order from them again, but now, as a restaurant, they're dead and buried! I don't recommend them!

The atmosphere is very minimalist but clean, simple, and comfortable. But a bar means not having to wait too long, and above all, meeting friendly and kind staff, especially in the morning. Honestly, I've only encountered very kind, friendly, and professional baristas, especially Barbara, whose smile and polite manners make that moment of my first coffee every morning enchanting. For me, catering is successful because it's staffed by people who are certainly competent, but above all, kind, polite, and genuinely empathetic, like Barbara.

In fact, I'll tell you: the fried pasta tasted like used frying oil, the pastry was dry and stale (probably from the day before), and the diplomatica was neither good nor bad. Ultimately, I certainly won't be stopping there again. Move on.
