The presentation is elegant but not overbearing, highlighting the quality of the ingredients and the chef's ability to enhance their flavors. The service was welcoming and attentive, making the experience truly enjoyable. It's no coincidence that this restaurant is recognized among the best in Italy and holds the highest rating among Puglian restaurants according to TasteAtlas: here, you experience Apulian cuisine in an authentic and refined way. 15/04/2026: The location is close to both Lecce and the two villages of San Pietro and Monteroni, making it easy to find and reach. We found the rooms very clean and equipped with a small fridge, which is very useful in the summer. The complimentary toiletries are of a good standard, with everything guests might need. Breakfast is decent, but could be improved with a wider variety of pastries. The manager, Giusy, is very friendly and makes you feel at home. They are dog-friendly. We will definitely return.

A hedge divides the street, but the experience isn't the best: cars constantly drive past the tables, and there's no heating, making it uncomfortable, especially on cooler evenings. Food 4/5: Overall, good food. The pizza was well-risen and enjoyable, but the chips arrived cold, a detail that detracted from the experience. Overall, good. Service 1/5: Terrible experience. We waited over an hour and a half for our pizzas, which was absolutely unacceptable. The staff gave no communication or explanation for the delay. The service was truly disappointing and unprofessional. Absolutely not worth it. From an experience like this, I expected at least an apology. Average 2/5: Overall, poor experience. The service was very slow, with excessive wait times and little attention to the customer. The place is small, and the outdoor seating on the sidewalk is uncomfortable, partly due to the constant traffic and the lack of heating. The food is the best part: the pizza is well-risen, although some details could be improved. Overall, the experience was below expectations. Failed

20/03/2026: We went to the cinema in Nardo and afterward we were craving pizza, so we went to this place, convinced by the many positive reviews. But I have to say we were completely disappointed, both with the place and the pizzas. Perhaps because, given the reviews, we were expecting something different, the pizzas were barely okay.

05/01/2026: We booked a table for six. The atmosphere was very familiar and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered excellent pizzas and a mixed roast, which was equally delicious! I highly recommend "Saint Louis" to families, groups, or simply couples for a romantic dinner.

The staff was efficient, kind, and always available, making us feel welcomed and cared for with great professionalism. The DJ was excellent and engaging, creating the right atmosphere and keeping everyone entertained. We and all our guests went home happy and satisfied. A restored old oil mill with star vaults in the historic center of Specchia... a pizzeria that has truly come back to greatness (varied pizza menu and plenty of choice) for the quality of the products, the atmosphere, the expertise, the attention to detail, the professionalism, the cleanliness... well done, well done!!! Delicious pizza, it's a pleasure to watch the pizza chefs at work... the wait times are just right for a Friday, there's communication and collaboration between the staff in the dining room, the kitchen, and the pizzeria.
