01/08/2025: The piadinas are truly excellent, but the quality/price ratio, in my opinion, is too high. One doesn't fill you up; perhaps they should increase the filling! Another negative is the wait. I've tried several times, and unfortunately, the wait is really long, even when the place isn't crowded. Too bad.

18/07/2025: I'm pleased to return today after a long time, because I used to go there at least once a week as a student when it was still called "Il Portico"... I studied digital marketing, and I have to say the rebranding and interior renovation was very well done. The original and unique idea in the area to expand the menu to include many typical local combinations is more than spot-on and appreciated. Regarding the food, the quality/price ratio is truly excellent. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the freshly made dough. The service has improved significantly, in my opinion, even though I visited on a weekday, when there was a large influx of takeout customers, rather than dine-in customers. The timing was really well managed, even when it came to bringing the second piadina afterward rather than together. The staff was very friendly, professional, and kind. We were even offered fries as part of a group, as were many other tables. Tables are always cleaned as customers change. At the cashier, you'll always be asked to show your loyalty card and be informed about the discounts you can get. I assure you, this isn't a given at every restaurant, and that's something to be appreciated. I'll gladly return, and specifically more often, not just when I'm passing through. It's truly a unique restaurant in our valleys, and now it also serves typical local dishes!

15/08/2025: Very welcoming, excellent food, excellent service. I recommend the lemon sorbet with limoncello and a sprinkle of coffee.

20/07/2025: The pinsa was truly delicious and easy to digest, a lovely discovery. The place is very charming and rustic, and the view of old Avigliana is breathtaking when you arrive and leave. We'll definitely be back.

20/07/2025: You enter a kind of monastery, and you eat practically in a cave - the atmosphere is very evocative. The cell phone doesn't get signal and that's a very positive thing because it disconnects you from the world for at least two hours. The service was prompt. The pinsa... the dough was really good and light, with excellent ingredients. Congratulations, I'll return.

16/08/2025: The food is okay, and so is the decor. The real problem is the price and the quantity offered. It's barely enough for a small eater. For once, I wasn't hungry, and that's very rare. €25 for 6 meager mini slices of meat accompanied by a bell pepper... there are still vegetarian options, which isn't bad, but what's certain is that I regret having spent €55 for 2 without starters or dessert! They charge you €2.50 per person for service... and it's non-negotiable. The same goes for the water they put on your table, which is automatically charged €3. Really, it feels more like a tourist trap than anything else. Opt for the small restaurants in the surrounding streets, which are cheaper and offer better quality food.

16/08/2025: It's snobbery. It's very good, but the quantities are minimal compared to the prices. The waiter isn't friendly either. You have to be fluent in Italian or English.

08/07/2025: Really disappointed, I didn't think it had gotten so bad!! €3.50 for ice cream for two microscopic flavors that were gone with one lick, mediocre quality and melted within 30 seconds of the cone being delivered despite the day not being particularly hot. The cone was so hard it broke your teeth!! (Perhaps old?) I've always bought from Grom in the past but I never thought the quality would drop this far and no comment on the quantity, but if it had at least been up to par I would have accepted even a small taste, instead it ran out after a few hasty licks because it melted just by looking at it, almost leaving me with a broken tooth!

13/05/2025: So good! We have tried pistachio, hazelnut, and raspberry chocolate. Hazelnut was my favourite. But I must say, at first I thought raspberry chocolate, based on chocolate with a top of the raspberries. But it baffled me, because it was a gelato with raspberry flavour with added chocolate pieces. Still good, but amazed. Corn would have been thinner, but that's fine. In general, we really enjoyed it.
