15/08/2024: Locale piemontese nel Canavese, poco fuori Torino, che riporta alla tradizione con eleganza. Menu interessante, cucina piemontese semplice e ben fatta. Alcuni piatti a base di pesce, a mio parere meno nelle corde del locale. Abbiamo scelto: plin ripieno di cipolle caramellate con fonduta di parmigiano, non i classici plin piccolini, cipolle un po’ preponderanti (voto 7) vitello tonnato (voto xxx) spaghetto con pescatrice discreto (voto 6.5) tartare di tonno Piatto di bolliti misti buono, consiglio di aggiungere più salsa (voto 7) Zabaione con torcetti, ottimi entrambi (voto 8) Tiramisù, con un bellissimo colore giallo pieno Buona selezione di vini Servizio e cortesia voto 9 Rapporto qualità prezzo (voto 7) : non a buon mercato, ma giustificato da ambiente e materie prime. 29/07/2024: Having dinner a few evenings ago, we started with the fried anchovies, delicious and with the equally worthy raw ham. Fish paella accompanied by dangria, both good. Finished with very good creme brulee and the right crust on top. What deserves a special mention is the courtesy and friendliness of the staff.

It's difficult to find the words to describe the experience in this restaurant, which, in my opinion, could easily compete with the best starred restaurants. Every detail, from the quality of the ingredients to the attention paid to the cooking and presentation of the dishes, is taken care of with extraordinary passion and expertise. Food Quality Ingredients are undoubtedly the beating heart of the kitchen. You immediately perceive a careful selection of raw materials, favored for freshness, seasonality and local origin. The preparations enhance every single element, transforming it into the protagonist of the dish without ever dominating it with useless artifices. Technique and cooking The technique of chef Rambaldi and his staff deserves official recognition: each cooking is precisely calibrated, respecting the integrity and natural flavors of the ingredients. The ability to balance textures and aromas, moving from delicate dishes to more structured proposals, demonstrates an uncommon versatility. Presentation The dishes are truly wonderful. Aesthetic care is never an end in itself, but represents a natural extension of taste. the colors and shapes help create a multisensory experience. Service and Atmosphere The service is impeccable, with attentive, discreet and trained staff. 01/12/2024: Ambiente rilassante e intimo, la cucina a vista mi ha molto colpita. Il servizio è attento e cortese, contribuendo a un’esperienza piacevole. L’idea delle tapas è ottima, con abbinamenti drink-cibo molto apprezzati. Buonissimi lo gnocco fritto alla carbonara e le castagne farcite. Il vitello tonnato era buono, ma coperto da troppa insalata; si poteva presentare diversamente.. mi ha lasciata un po’ delusa. Margherita + acciuga si presentava molto bene, l’idea è bella ma poca sostanza. Cappelletti al ragù molto saporiti ma niente di speciale. Il filetto di fassona, invece, è stato eccellente. Tuttavia, l’accompagnamento (purè e insalata) era troppo classico; si potrebbe osare di più. Poca scelta per vegetariani, ma nel complesso ci tornerei per la qualità dei piatti e l’ottimo servizio. Siamo stati bene, grazie!!

09/08/2024: The crepes are very good, both the savory ones (with a good number of variations) and the sweet ones. I also really appreciated the draft beer from a craft brewery in the province of Turin. Punctual and kind service. I think the place is a little limiting for both the diners and the staff, even though it also has an outdoor area which, however, I don't think is air conditioned.

04/08/2024: I had discovered this place a couple of years ago and I really liked it, special crepes, sweet and savory, very well-prepared dishes presented very well, interesting and good combinations. I returned a few weeks ago and I no longer recognized the dishes, even if the menu is always the same the ingredients are not the same. The presentation leaves something to be desired, the ingredients don't always seem to fit together, even too many without a logical sense. My friends also had the same opinion as me, too bad it was a particular place that no longer exists, perhaps due to a change of management otherwise I can't explain this deterioration. Under these conditions I will certainly not return again.

23/08/2024: Siamo venuti in questa pizzeria da 80 km di distanza e non ce ne siamo pentiti. Locale non molto grande (bene), pulito, dotato di una sala principale e un' altra saletta elegante anche se, forse, con illuminazione un po' troppo soffusa (parere personale). Le pizze sono ottime, e gli ingredienti di altissima qualità. La focaccia crunch ha un impasto che è difficile da descrivere: bisogna assolutamente gustarla per capirne le sensazioni gustative che dà. È croccante fuori e morbida dentro, con una croccantezza sottilissima, friabilissima... Una delicatezza e una friabilità mai provate, che non si riesce a dare l'idea solamente con una descrizione, bisogna morderci dentro per capire! Le pizze, anch'esse sono buone, con impasto eccellente e ingredienti di ottima qualità provenienti da produttori selezionati. Pizze generose nella farcitura, con cornicione alto, abbinamenti (per le pizze gourmet) non comuni, ma azzeccatissimi. Per chi non amasse queste farciture particolari, i "nostalgici", è possibile scegliere una pizza con farcitura classica e anche qui la pizza è ottima e ben farcita. Una menzione particolare va fatta al servizio dove un cameriere attento e gentile riesce a metterti subito a tuo agio: un cameriere che inizia a servire prima le donne (in pizzeria non succede mai), che ha sempre il sorriso sulle labbra e fa il suo lavoro con professionalità ed empatia. La mise en place è sobria, ma al tempo stesso elegante anche se con tovaglioli di carta; molto apprezzato il fatto che vengano cambiati prima del dessert. Il servizio è risultato essere leggermente lungo visto che non erano presenti tante persone, ma questo non ci ha disturbato più di tanto, anzi forse è stato un bene perché la digestione è stata eccellente. I prezzi, ovviamente, sono alti (direi più che altro il prezzo del coperto), ma si sa: la qualità si paga... E qui di qualità ce n'è.

14/08/2024: It's just a place with good vibes. Above all, the owner is very attentive and hospitable. The food is vegan in the typical bistro style. The pastries are of patisserie quality. We had a very fluffy, well-seasoned farinata made from chickpea flour, a hot dog with Beyond Meat sausage and a cannoli glazed with chocolate and filled with pistachio cream.

14/08/2024: We had a work lunch break at the Bistro, our first time coming. I was curious to try this too after having been to the Orto in via Monferrato three times for dinner. Here too the dishes are excellent, well prepared, delicious (I tried lasagna with side salads and aubergines), I didn't know what to choose because they all inspired me. As usual, the staff were welcoming, friendly and quick. Lunch with main course, 2 side dishes, water and coffee for only €12 I will definitely be back to try the other dishes too!
