27/08/2025: We had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant with a couple of friends and we all had a great time. The food was really good and we appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Another plus was that our dog was welcome. Recommended!

08/02/2026: Excellent atmosphere in this mountain refuge, accessible by car in the summer and only on foot or skis in the winter. The refuge is open year-round. In winter, access is via the snow-covered summer road, which is never steep (4.5 km / 450 m elevation gain). Simple shoes are sufficient, perhaps with mini-crampons. The location is magnificent, the atmosphere fantastic, and the food excellent. You might even run into Bepe, the iconic owner, mentioned by Sylvain Tesson in his book "Blanc". (As a bonus, there's also a wellness area with a sauna and jacuzzi, also open in winter).

24/01/2026: I'm writing on behalf of a friend whose review continues to be blocked: "I'll start by saying that I'm a resource candidate to help out at the refuge. We agreed on the phone for a two-day trial on Saturday and Sunday, then decided whether or not to stay. After 500 km and just an hour and a half (during which time I didn't do anything because the owner told me to take a look around to see if I liked it), the owner told me he didn't feel like taking me on. So the verbal agreement was null and void. Furthermore, he made me leave at 7:00 PM without offering me accommodation. At the last minute, I managed to find a place for the night. Meanwhile, I spent my €250 round-trip fare for nothing. Moral of the story: don't take their word for it; spend hours on the phone, be direct and incisive to understand the person well.

30/12/2025: I've returned to this place and I have to compliment the kitchen and staff. The pizza is super easy to digest, the fried seafood is impeccable, and the staff is kind and attentive. We'll be back, well done!

22/12/2025: There were 30 of us, and they served us excellently. The place was lovely and welcoming, and the staff were very helpful with their suggestions. The pizza was very good. I had the fior di latte gelato with salt, extra virgin olive oil, and chopped pistachios. It was really good. Of course, you have to like the sweet/salty contrast, but it surprised me, in a positive way. Definitely worth repeating.

01/11/2025: Michele, a master coffee maker, will serve coffee to your liking. When I'm in the area, I stop in for a specialty coffee. The staff are very friendly. I also recommend it for a break, lunch, or breakfast.

01/02/2026: A trattoria that's been around for decades, it was transformed into a pizzeria a few years ago. The pizza selection is extensive, but not overwhelming: from classic to more unusual, all with one thing in common: an absolutely fair price for unsurpassable quality.

18/10/2025: If you're passing through, you can't miss this place for a pizza or focaccia. Everything is truly delicious, even the desserts and wine. The pizzeria has a unique, very personalized style, and the owners are super friendly and welcoming. The prices are very fair, highly recommended.

06/10/2025: Stopped for pizza, and it seemed more like a pizzeria than a pub. That said, the pizza was good, very easy to digest, with a unique dough, but good enough. I highly recommend it. When I'm in the area, I'll stop by because I want to try other pizzas, as well as their... I don't remember the name, but it's a very inviting cross between a panino and a calzone.

15/02/2026: It was a lovely stay, quiet and peaceful. The staff was friendly and efficient... Above all, very patient with our needs. The room (133) was lovely, spacious, and clean. The sweets at breakfast were very welcome. It wasn't very extensive, and the drinks (coffee, cappuccinos, etc.) weren't from vending machines, but served directly from the bar! They were plentiful and delicious. Cannavacciuolo's word!
