15/08/2024: Refuge and reference point for summer and winter trails. Menu with local products (the venison stew stands out, in my opinion) and a friendly and close-knit staff. Fresh air and crystal clear waters from the springs. What more could you ask for? -I don't rate the rooms since I didn't use them-

19/07/2024: Easily the best experience I've had at a bar while traveling - the drinks were fantastic and I had no idea they came with small bites (first time to Italy). Everyone was super friendly, even though I couldn't speak Italian. Love it.

24/08/2024: I have been to this pizzeria more than once and have always had a good time. The pizzas are varied and made with quality ingredients. The place is clean and modern and the staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend it.

22/08/2024: Recommended with full marks. Hospitality and availability at the top for this place with informal and slightly anonymous furnishings. Thorough cleaning and kindness of the staff are truly worthy of applause. The pizza is thin and cooked just right, perhaps not too abundant the filling but still first choice ingredients. Desserts absolutely worth tasting, or rather... devouring😀. If I really had to, I would make just one note: small tables and a little too close together, so much so that we also conversed with the neighbors, so excellent for conviviality but not for those who are a little more reserved or looking for a more intimate atmosphere. Maybe if you have this need ask whoever welcomes you for a more suitable accommodation, they will surely be able to satisfy you.

17/04/2024: Intimate and familiar tea room where you can take a break and pamper yourself a little. Herbal teas and infusions and above all excellent pastries, just enough choice, refined and non-trivial combinations, presented beautifully at the table. Sober and discreet welcome which we like. Thank you!

02/06/2024: We were here for dinner and ordered the suggested menu. It's best to reserve a table online. The owner couple hosted us that evening. He also speaks English and therefore communication in combination with Italian was quite possible. The menu cost 35 euros (including water, coffee and liqueur) per person that evening. It is cooked regionally and often from our own production (goat cheese, hazelnut). Each course (8 dishes in total) was explained in detail. The evening was extremely friendly and accommodating and catered to individual requests. You have to visit here if you are in the area.

21/04/2024: Great place, woke up at 7 this morning with the birds singing and the sight of two wonderful "bambi". Had dinner in the hotel, excellent cuisine, lovely place. Thank you for your kindness Davide and family.

14/07/2024: Come già detto in altre recensioni il rapporto prezzo e menù è sproporzionato. Merenda sinoira con assaggini freddi più due caldi. Al momento del cambio tra freddi e caldi il piatto non è stato cambiato ma, anzi, ci è stato chiesto di collaborare e svuotare i piatti prima degli stuzzichini caldi. Prodotti interessanti ma che non giustificano il prezzo troppo alto.

23/08/2024: Beautiful venue in Neive. The place is very beautiful both inside and outside (the only problem here is the ashes from the fireplace which can get on your clothes). The service is fast and friendly. The food is very tasty and many products are local at km 0. The very good beers are also recommended.

23/08/2024: Unfortunately negative experience. We haven't seen the garden so I can't judge, the rest of the external part are tables placed in the street, nothing appealing. The interior, thanks to the heat (non-air-conditioned environment), is suffocating as there are low ceilings and humidity which we try to eliminate with a special machine but that is not enough.... We were welcomed into the general chaos (the place was very full), we were not told that without a reservation no pizza would be served that evening. I went there for that and for nothing else. Could I adapt? maybe.... but if the question is " we don't serve pizza to those who haven't booked because the kitchen is under stress" then I can apply the same logic to the rest. Furthermore, the sandwiches etc that I saw arriving at the next tables were not worth the possible long wait. Very kind waitresses, the manager who coordinated everything much less (including the way to address the girls). Advice: there's no point filling a place with lots of seats if you don't have enough staff in the dining room or kitchen to manage things.....

09/08/2024: Excellent service, she was very kind and attentive. The location reflects the name of the restaurant, but the external terrace is not up to the level desired by this restaurant and therefore incapable of creating a chic atmosphere. As for the food, based on what we were able to taste during this first experience, our review tends towards the positive albeit with some flaws. In fact, some dishes attempt risky but not always successful combinations. Other dishes pleasantly reflect the refinement and work of the chef but unfortunately this cannot be said for 100% of the dishes on the menu. Another small note, I would have preferred the two menu proposals clearly separated from the à la carte menu rather than having to look back and forth to find, for example, the list of first courses from which to choose. Overall, however, a pleasant experience in the splendid context of the Maira Valley. Furthermore, a good value for money if you consider the excellent quality of the raw materials.

04/08/2024: Despite some flaws in the service, this all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant quite lived up to expectations. During the course of the evening we had to ask several times for certain things to be brought to us, such as soy sauce that was not on the table or even having to remember which dishes were yet to come out or not. Overall though the food was good and well presented

19/08/2024: Had coffee with a couple of friends, one of the waitresses who served us had, and sorry for the French, a scary mess.... Excellent coffee anyway!

02/09/2024: Very attentive, friendly service. The quality of the food was excellent. The supplements are particularly worth mentioning. A "greeting from the kitchen", various breads and breadsticks "a discretion", small treats with the coffee. All in all a top restaurant in the heart of Alba.

30/06/2024: I would like to point out that my review is for the restaurant linked to the inn, but in any case the management is the same. What can I say, a very traditional, well-kept and clean location. Menu made up of traditional and local dishes from the valley, with some small innovations that do not disturb at all and are rather very pleasant. Very attentive but not intrusive service and the bill is more than adequate for the quantity and quality of that that we ate. What can I say, we will definitely be back.

01/05/2024: Delicious food and really friendly staff! Everything delicious from the mixture of starters to dessert. It's rare to find vegan options, there's an entire tasting menu here. I will definitely be back!

11/08/2024: I went with my wife for dinner and we had 2 mixed starters, 1 tajarin, 1 plin with roast sauce, 2 glasses of white wine and a bottle of water. Unfortunately I only took a photo of the tajarin, but the rest was worth it too. We will definitely be back

27/06/2024: This is a hidden gem in Piemonte 👌 The quality of the food is excellent and the wine selection is just perfect. Don’t expect sprinkle and stars but a real Boccia game of locals in front of your table. Italia 🇮🇹 in a nutshell 👍👏
