23/11/2025: We booked dinner at Ape Vino e Cucina during the Alba White Truffle Fair and were thrilled. The location, in the heart of Alba, is refined and welcoming; the ambience is elegant, and the service impeccable in its attentiveness and courtesy. The welcome from the kitchen and the desserts offered at the end of the meal were both very welcome—small details that truly make a difference. All the dishes we ordered lived up to our expectations: quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. The bill was fair and consistent with the level of service and the overall experience. We highly recommend this place and will gladly return.

15/11/2025: First time in Alba, but I'll definitely be back. Especially for the Ape Vino e Cucina experience. Everything was excellent, with excellent service and advice from Asia.

28/09/2025: We happened upon it late at night, and they gave us a warm welcome. The pizza was light and made with fresh ingredients. The stuffed farinata was excellent as an appetizer. The beer was very much appreciated, and to finish, the dessert was superb (mascarpone-flavored tart with a chocolate center and apricot jam). A special thanks to the waitress (Giulia), who we found to be very professional, kind, and attentive.

06/11/2025: I booked the room through their website, along with the spa package for two. Breakfast included. The location is breathtaking. The staff is fabulous. I had a health issue during the night, and they changed the sheets in just 5 minutes, and it was well past midnight. The guy who runs the spa program is excellent; he pampers you and leads you through the Turkish bath and sauna, explaining each treatment. An experience not to be missed. The breakfast was delicious, with all homemade products. And the dinner was simply superb.

01/12/2025: An institution! Epic dishes and unparalleled kindness. A blast from the past when we locals used it as a pre-dinner drink. Coming back after 20 years, I have to say that everything is as perfect as ever. A little suggestion? Maybe change those cold lights and replace them with warmer ones to make the atmosphere less sterile. Keep up the good work!

09/11/2025: This spaghetti restaurant in Manera was a pleasant discovery. The place isn't very big, but the owner, even though we hadn't called ahead, managed to get us a meal. The appetizers are very generous. The real highlight, of course, are the first courses: a choice of penne, fusilli, and spaghetti, followed by agnolotti, gnocchi, and tagliatelle. But the gluten-free pasta is a must-have. Before choosing your sauces, you need to decide on your portion: regular (200g), small (100g), or generous (300g) for those who want to roll out the door. The sauces are varied: meat-based, fish-based, vegetarian, unusual, and creamy, all at more than fair prices. We tried the tagliatelle alla norma, the Aida gnocchi with stracchino, chopped pistachios, and gorgonzola, and the nocino agnolotti with fontina, chopped hazelnuts, cream, and tomato. Regular portions are already generous, delicious, and, above all, easy to digest! To round out our fabulous meal, we ordered a homemade cake called "nocciotella," made with sponge cake filled with hazelnut cream and hazelnuts, served warm. I love hazelnuts, and I can say it was amazing! Kudos to the service, delivered with simplicity and professionalism, making you feel at ease. Kudos to the friendliness, quality, helpfulness, and cleanliness. We'll definitely be back with friends, but this time we'll book ahead.

26/10/2025: Intimate, cosy restaurant in a beautiful setting with top class food. The wait staff were kind and friendly and made suggestions to accommodate my preferences. Vegetarian options. Cannot recommend enough but book ahead.

23/10/2025: My family and I happened to be near the chestnut festival and tried two of the recipes created especially for the event: an explosion of flavors, enhanced by the perfect balance of ingredients (kudos also go to the impressive wine list). The kindness and helpfulness of the staff complete a place worth visiting for its meticulous attention to detail. Thank you for the delightful experience!

31/08/2025: A great find near Bene Vagienna, stumbled upon by chance after a visit to a flea market. Authentic, genuine cuisine that you'll remember fondly, excellent service, and fair prices. Attention to detail, like the cover charge with very good bread and breadsticks (which isn't the case, however), customer service without stress and persistence in offering. Pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. Congratulations

12/11/2025: It's a shame when a restaurant, in order to offer truffles, makes us forget all the good dishes they make by putting just a few grams of truffle, which is also not very fragrant.
