06/04/2025: An evening of romance and good food. Last night my husband gave me a surprise: very perfect!!! The San Pietro restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​Limone has always been a must for those who want to dine (or have lunch) in a restaurant with an elegant and old-fashioned setting. The tables, rigorously round, are arranged in such a way as to guarantee the privacy of the guests. In the center you can admire a large wooden table on which stands, among other things, an exceptional display of cheeses. We were sitting next to the fireplace. Truly superb menu. I have celiac disease and a lot of attention was paid to me: fassona meat marinated with herbs, crumbled egg yolk and sweet and sour onion. The meat is very tender, tasty and not at all salty. My husband enjoyed a very soft lamb paté (at room temperature and not frozen as often happens) with brioche bread and caramelized onions. Applause-worthy first courses: for me risotto with sausage, Barolo and goat's blue cheese. Perfect cooking and delicate flavor despite the tasty ingredients. For my husband, an extraordinary tagliatelle filled with wild boar stew: a unique flavour, unparalleled softness and, to conclude, the owner of the restaurant delighted us - in every sense - with a soft zabaglione expertly prepared in front of us! Truly a huge round of applause to the chef and his team for giving us a wonderful evening! See you soon

04/05/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato con amici per tre giorni ad Alba per uno stage di tennis durante il ponte del primo maggio e abbiamo sempre pranzato nella gastronomia urbana. Assoluta qualità delle materie prime e prodotti eccellenti. Marito cuoco e moglie al banco gestiscono questo locale in modo ammirevole, coadiuvati da personale altrettanto valido, i diversi piatti degustati durante i vari pasti hanno pienamente soddisfatto le nostre esigenze. Provare per credere.

Service a little slow, the owner was the only one serving in the room (4 tables occupied) and naturally also managed the reception and payment. I don't know if there is usually someone to help her, but I hope so because waiting almost 40 minutes for desserts, at the end of the evening, is a little excessive. The desserts can be improved (strudel with incandescent and cloying chocolate, too bad). I would go back.

01/02/2025: Siamo stati per cena, in quanto ospiti in un beb nelle vicinanze. Siamo stati accolti coi nostri due cani senza problemi. Siamo vegetariani e il menù é stato variato per le nostre esigenze senza problemi dal cuoco. Ravioles ottime come tutto il resto e porzioni abbondanti! Ho visto qualche recensione negativa per la strada per arrivare al locale: siamo in montagna, non é un'autostrada a tre corsie, ma per chi ha conseguito la patente di guida dovrebbe essere fattibile!!!!

Nothing was missing, even a sip of water and excellent pastries We had practically never gone....well done!!! You have acquired new customers!!!!!

18/05/2025: I like both the pub downstairs, where it's not just sandwiches, focaccias, but also dishes, first courses, second courses... and the pizzeria upstairs, the dough is very good, it costs a little more but it's worth it. There are often pizzas of the day... the beers are craft! The staff is very kind... it's always a pleasure to go back!

13/05/2025: Birrificio Citabiunda is a place located in Neive in the hamlet of Bricco, reaching the place allows you to enjoy a beautiful view of the hills and vineyards of the village. The cuisine offers a wide choice and thanks to the dishes of the moment there is never the risk of getting bored! Obviously we cannot fail to mention their wide range of delicious craft beers perfect to accompany all the dishes on the menu! The place is very welcoming and during the warmer periods it also offers the possibility of dining outdoors. The staff is very kind and super attentive to satisfying the requests of their customers with a smile! Definitely highly recommended!!!
