Hote Belmonte In Montezemolo

Amazing experience and totally unexpected. The restaurant is run by a family couple, very professional but also genuinely friendly and honest. Though I was the only guest for lunch, the host made me feel like I was long expected. Food was good, local wine very nice and refreshing, and dessert tasty and harmonious. I loved every minute I stayed there.

I think it deserves an excellent rating for both the service, the distinctive food, and the well-designed interior. If you're being picky, there's room for improvement on the exterior.

It's always a pleasure to have lunch at Belmonte: a vintage atmosphere with an authentic flavour of times gone by, excellent cuisine featuring traditional dishes, sometimes exquisitely revisited, generous portions, and average prices for restaurants in the Langhe, yet certainly excellent quality.
