I've never been to a place where the service is always spot on. Truly a MUST. 10/10. I'm at a loss for words (and if I try to say something, it's almost impossible) every time I want to explain how delicious the food is and how lovely the service is, always paying attention to detail whenever they can. 17/01/2026: Yesterday's slice of spicy salami pizza was old, dry, and stale. The arancino with ragù, peas, and mozzarella, even after reheating, remained in cubes and didn't melt. I pointed out that it wasn't pleasant that the mozzarella didn't melt, so I showed him the mozzarella in whole pieces, and he replied that they knew that, but they charged full price for the arancino. He might close for me.

08/03/2026: Good pizza, very nice and quiet atmosphere. I recommend booking. The person who helped us with our order this evening seemed a little annoyed... but everything went well, the staff was kind and attentive.

07/08/2025: As an American living in France, I was thrilled to find somewhere that actually knows how to use a smoker! BarBees was a dream. The menu was amazing. We tried the mixed platter, the brisket, and the homemade hazelnut ice cream. It was the most beautiful marriage of American and Italian styles. You won’t regret it. Go.

15/03/2026: Truly a beautiful location. Perhaps 4 stars is a bit too much, as the superior rooms were a bit dated in terms of furnishings and finishes. However, the price was more than fair for the overall level of service and the surrounding environment. I'd say I rate it more like a 3-star superior. I regret not trying the on-site restaurant because it's very well rated, but we were in the area touring and preferred not to linger in the hotel. A top-notch breakfast is included, with a wide selection of excellent cheeses, scrambled eggs with bacon made to order, and an excellent selection of desserts and hot drinks. Highly recommended.

09/10/2025: The waitress was very nice and friendly. The bar is certainly OK for drinks right by the lake. The food, however, is at least disgusting. The dishes served bear no resemblance to the pictures on the menu. Instead of tuna sauce for Vitello Tonnato, a thick smear of mayonnaise is served on the plate. Underneath, there's dried-out meat and on top, three mini cans of capers. The schnitzel tastes like cardboard; it's actually been cooked in a deep fryer and is anything but crispy. The breading is absolutely sticky and disgusting! The fries look appetizing, but taste like burnt oil that probably hasn't been changed in years. Only edible with a good amount of ketchup. So: better to go a few meters further for your meal if you want it to be edible!

29/03/2026: The quality and presentation of the food were fantastic, the service was perfect, they knew everything perfectly and the small but comfortable setting makes the dining experience something not to be missed.

08/02/2026: A delicious and enjoyable lunch with friends, delicious dishes prepared with great care, focusing on local produce. Friendly and welcoming service, a small but very welcoming place. We spotted a terrace for summer service, so we'll definitely be repeating this experience!

04/11/2025: Returning from a hike above Lemie, we chose this bar for our post-trip ritual. The easy parking spot on the main street of Viu, practically in front of the bar, is worth a mention. Furthermore, by taking advantage of the limited space between the street and the bar, the owners managed to create space for a few tables! The interior isn't particularly stylish, but the atmosphere is quiet and conducive to the inevitable post-hike chatter. The service is quick and friendly, and the beer selection is a bit limited, but all good quality. The hot snacks served with the beers are fantastic, and the hot chocolates and coffees are excellent. The dessert section is noteworthy, with displays of cakes and pastries, as well as other products on sale (beers, spirits, sweets, etc.). Highly recommended!

27/01/2026: Spacious and tidy. We went for dinner and there was a menu. Very good. The dishes were generous in portions and tasty. We'll be back to try the pizzas, which were very inviting and well-seasoned. Fast and helpful service.

Delicious and plentiful traditional dishes, the staff were extremely kind and helpful, even catering to my mom's needs, who, having suffered from car trouble, wasn't exactly in good shape! Excellent value for money! What can I say...thanks to all the girls...we'll be back soon!

10/01/2026: A very characteristic restaurant in the center of Occhieppo Superiore A very charming, well-renovated, and welcoming place. Piedmontese menu, excellent and carefully prepared cuisine. Excellent wine list with local wines. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back.
